Beech Mountain Swiss rustic style ski chalet. Convenient to the slopes and restaurants.Enjoy a large deck on a wooded property with plenty of shade in the summer. 2 King Beds, 1 queen bed, and two twin beds. Sleeps 8 comfortably. 3 Full bathrooms. Breakfast area with seating for 8. Large wood burning stove that can heat the entire house. Fully stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer in laundry room. Cable TV and high speed internet.

Wonderful time with family and enjoying the ski slopes, great location to the slopes and enjoyed seeing the deer in the evening sleeping right by the cabin

House location was great. The kids loved the wild deer hanging out right off the deck. Easily walkable to the Carolina Caribbean green slope.

Perfect place for a ski trip with family and friends. Super close to the slopes. Fifty yard , walk , and you're on carolina caribbean run. Host was very nice and attentive whenever I asked questions. Will definitely keep in my favorites for future trips.

The host was extremely communicative and kind, even checked to see if we had left clothing they had found (we had not.) We asked to check in a few hours early and they were gracious to say yes. However, I have to sadly share that this house was beyond below our expectations. There was a smell throughout the house that was old and dingy. The house was completely rundown; cabinet doors in the kitchen were sticky and didn’t open or close well, bedding and furniture was old and smelly and the front doors to the house were difficult to open and close because of the age of the house. The bathrooms were horribly dated and looked dirty due to age, wear and tear. For the price, it’s extremely disappointing.

Cool spot, right near the slopes, everyting we needed to go see a band playing on the slopes. Would definately come back!

Terrific Time!

Perfect location, we loved seeing the slopes from the home. And we had a front row seat almost for the fireworks on NYE from the deck!

Convenient and Easy!

We were so impressed with our stay. The Lodge is the prime location for activities at Beech Mountain. The rental was clean and the deer visits in the morning were a plus! We can’t wait to come back.

Ski Weekend At Windameir Lodge

Our group had a great stay at the house, and enjoyed the location as it was very close to the slopes. Very comfortable space, and everything in the home works wonderfully! Host is extremely responsive and very helpful. Would definitely book again.

Weekend Away

The stay was great, we could walk to the slopes by using the staircase for nearby condos. The house had very good heat we had no issues with any appliances.

Great Location

Great lodge near Beech Mountain with views of the slopes. We had a lovely view of the NYE fireworks while sat around the wood burner. Great location for the slopes and hiking. Kitchen had everything you’d need. The owner was very helpful and let us move our start date of the vacation. Thank you we had a fantastic time.

The beautiful place

Absolutely fantastic location with everything conveniently close. Just a short trip down the hill, and you’re on the ski slopes or tubing. The daily visits from deer on the porch added a delightful touch. The place is truly beautiful, and the owner is incredibly accommodating with seamless communication. Highly recommend this gem for its prime location. Can’t praise it enough!
