Convenient to the slopes and restaurants.Enjoy a large deck on a wooded property with plenty of shade in the summer. 2 King Beds, 1 queen bed, and two twin beds. Sleeps 8 comfortably. 3 Full bathrooms. Breakfast area with seating for 8. Large wood burning stove that can heat the entire house. Fully stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer in laundry room. Cable TV and high speed internet.

Great Time!

Cool spot, right near the slopes, everyting we needed to go see a band playing on the slopes. Would definately come back!

Terrific Time!

Perfect location, we loved seeing the slopes from the home. And we had a front row seat almost for the fireworks on NYE from the deck!

Ski Weekend At Windameir Lodge

Our group had a great stay at the house, and enjoyed the location as it was very close to the slopes. Very comfortable space, and everything in the home works wonderfully! Host is extremely responsive and very helpful. Would definitely book again.

Convenient and Easy!

We were so impressed with our stay. The Lodge is the prime location for activities at Beech Mountain. The rental was clean and the deer visits in the morning were a plus! We can’t wait to come back.

Weekend Away

The stay was great, we could walk to the slopes by using the staircase for nearby condos. The house had very good heat we had no issues with any appliances.

Great Location

Great lodge near Beech Mountain with views of the slopes. We had a lovely view of the NYE fireworks while sat around the wood burner. Great location for the slopes and hiking. Kitchen had everything you’d need. The owner was very helpful and let us move our start date of the vacation. Thank you we had a fantastic time.

The beautiful place

Absolutely fantastic location with everything conveniently close. Just a short trip down the hill, and you’re on the ski slopes or tubing. The daily visits from deer on the porch added a delightful touch. The place is truly beautiful, and the owner is incredibly accommodating with seamless communication. Highly recommend this gem for its prime location. Can’t praise it enough!

Weekend skiing

The location to ski beech was great, the house accommodated our family well, if it cold outside plan to have a fire, it’s necessary to keep the living room warm. Overall the house was pretty chilly but it was great for us, we would book it again

Spring Break Ski Trip

My wife and I brought our kids and their friends for a late season ski trip (March 8-11). We chose this place for the large size, reasonable rates and proximity to the slopes. It is a short walk to the green slope, or just a short drive to the base lot. The house was great, comfortable and clean. A++ for having the complete collection of Calvin and Hobbes comics! We were visited by deer each day as well.

Nice get a way

Had a great time with friends and family. The veiw of the ski slop was nice. The house is older but had all you need. We stay in the NC mountains 2 to 4 times a year. This was our first time with this host Wallace Reed. Wallace was great! Very responsive to calls and email. Thanks Wallace.

Comfortable Older House.

We had a nice time and the house had everything we needed. It is an older house and some updating of bathrooms would be nice. Communication with the owner was good. A nice extra were the Deer that came around every day on property. Three minute drive to the ski resort was easy. Good Restaurants within a short 2 minute drive. Same with a General Store that has any extras you might need.
