Boat trailers and/or campers are not allowed for overnight parking but there is a U-Haul Storage place conveniently located near by.

PUBLIC boat ramps located at Nick's Park - Cotee Boat Ramp, 7929 Bayview St, Port Richey, FL 34668. Other local launch sites along Ancolote River Park, County Rd 595A & Seminole ST., Holiday, FL and at Windsong Rentals located just outside the community - call to confirm allowing ramp access.

Home allows NON-aggressive breed pets ONLY upon approval and with an additional pet fee. MUST be pre-approved and added onto Rental Agreement.

MUST PICK UP DOG WASTE IN YARD OR SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE RETAINED

International Credit Card Fees If Charged Will be deducted + a $15 Admin Fee from the amount returned of the Security Deposit.

Underwhelmed

Let me start with the location of this home was perfect for boating. The home was built in 1974. The kitchen & baths have never been remodeled. Be careful when opening kitchen drawers. Some feel like they may fall out of the track. The sliding glass shower door didn't slide properly and was sealed with duct tape that was moldy as well as the shower drain. Sheets and towels had stains and appeared to be old (this bothered me the most). I'm hoping they were at least washed. I've stayed at many homes in the area for half the nightly cost that were much nicer. Very underwhelmed for the price.

Great home base!

We brought our boat and had ocean access for the entire stay. We fished every morning, hung out on the North Anclote sandbar or beach on Anclote and used the pool daily and were very comfortable with up to ten people in the house at times. Great fishing and the wildlife is amazing. Short list of encounters: blacktip, nurse & bonnethead sharks. An encounter of a lifetime with a great hammerhead shark! Manatees, green sea turtles, birds of every size including a flock of parrots and the catch list is spectacular: Spotted sea trout, grouper, ladyfish, jack crevalle, rays, lizardfish, pinfish and catfish. Even hooked a large blacktip for about 10 seconds. :-) Oh, and the spotted eagle rays leaping out of the water were fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed the FL room, living room and the dining table! Great choice for a large family or even just two couples. Eating Out: Hellas in Tarpon Springs and Frenchy's Outpost in Dunedin were awesome! Also, Wards Seafood in Clearwater was a can't miss for bringing it back to the house and cooking it up! You will love this stay!

Nice and quiet

We liked the house and loved the pool. It was nice to fish off the pier. It met all our needs. I rated location as 3 only because of being on a canal which we knew going in.

Peaceful and quiet

We really enjoyed the quiet area and being close to Honeymoon Island, which was a highlight of our time in Florida. Home was clean and the heated pool was a plus!

Good fishing

The location was perfect for us to be able to fish. We caught a variety of fish. The floating dock needs repairs and they were aware of the problem but we were still able to dock our boat with no problems.

Nice pool, Quiet neighborhood

Property was clean, neighborhood was quiet and you were able to take walks safely. Pool was great, heater works well kept pool 80+ deg in January.

Beautiful family place

Property management was just a phone call away anytime there was a question. This was a great place for our family to stay. We had a party of 8 adults and the space was more then enough. The pool was a beautiful enjoyment for all. Neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing view

We had a good stay, everyone enjoyed the space the house provided, very much enjoyed the pool and the fact we could have our boat right out the back door! Much needed replacement of the dirty molded shower doors in the bathroom between adjoining bedrooms and remove used bath sponges that to me is gross, the first ever rental home that had personal used items out in the open. Another much needed is updating some kitchen dishes, especially the eating utensils, and include an outdoor gas grill.

Relaxing Vacation

We had a great week! Manatees by the dock when we first got here and a few more sightings too. Enough room for 2 families from Illinois who just wanted to relax and enjoy the Florida sunshine. Great location…close to beaches and waterfront restaurants.

Left with peace in my heart

My little family (myself, husband, and son) had an amazing time relaxing and making memories. Our work lives do not always allow for a large amount of family time together. We spent so much time laughing in the pool and making memories. I enjoyed rising early and sitting in the little pier. It was a piece of heaven. Thank you for our stay.

Excellent location where two canals intersect and very short motor by boat to the open gulf.

Fits 6 adults but 4 would be more comfortable. Good location on a nice street and great Gulf access by boat. Pool, backyard area and dockage well maintained.

Family Vacation in New Port Richey

Family getaway

Had a great time at this house. House was in a great location for what we wanted to do. Only complaint I had about the house was no TV in bedrooms. Pool was great kids loved it. Being able to fish right out backdoor was a plus. Overall had a great stay and would stay again.

Laid back trip, exactly what we needed

Loved the pool and access to the canal. Each bedroom will sleep 2 people. No bedroom has 2 beds. Post needs to be updated as of 6/14/22 I messaged via the VRBO app 3 times and received 0 responses. (1 question, then a message stating I had found the answer, then after checkout letting them know we were out of the house early with a note letting them know the paddle board has a hole and takes on water.) Nothing urgent, so a reply wasn't necessary. I am only writing this to explain my low rating in this area. Overall -great experience and would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!!

Family vaca

The location was perfect for us. We loved the pool. The kitchen could have been cleaner. There were food crumbs in the drawers. One of the drawers with silverware was broken. The kitchen utensils could have been better. We were there a week and in that time saw 3 live baby roaches. I know it’s Florida but, I shouldn’t be seeing them alive. Also, the owners didn’t want the A/C below 74-72. Now I spent over $2200 on this house for 7 nights. I like the air conditioner at 68 when I sleep. If you’re charging that much rent you should never be telling people what to set the AC at. It was not an older unit. Because I didn’t want it freezing up on us. It was a newer unit but I don’t think it was large enough for their house maybe. Or they just don’t wanna pay a bill. But when you’re renting a house out you really shouldn’t be telling your renters what to set the air conditioning at.

Location is what this place has going for it. The canal was beautiful. That being said, the house was not clean. Bathrooms were dirty with leftover people's personal supplies on the windowsills, counters and under the sinks. The shower curtain was disgusting (go to the dollar store and replace it). We had to fold our own towels and wash a comforter that was not done. Area carpets look like they hadn't been washed in years. Bathrooms did not appear cleaned at all, and dirty carpets left in a ball in bathrooms. The house had a musty and old smelling from being shut up (we spent a lot of time on the porch and outside). Dirty dishes in the dishwasher. There are messy handwritten notes left all over the house on paper and on the walls with permanent marker, even the sheets were all labeled with permanent marker. (Make a notebook up). Main bedroom bed is held up with bricks. Closets are locked, so they had portable clothes racks with hangers from the department stores (we lived out of our suitcases). We went to use the pool and the large vacuum was still in it. We contacted them to see if we could take the vacuum out, but was told no, and it needed to stay in. Difficult to swim and have fun with this large vacuum in it. We used the pool one time because every time we came back from an outing the pool was freezing because someone had filled it. I reached out to the property manager right away when we entered the house. They apologized and told me that the towels were in the dryer and a comforter in the washer. I requested a cleaning fee refund and didn't hear back until the day after we checked out. They contacted me to give a refund three different ways outside of the VRBO network, but I was uncomfortable with that. I called VRBO and made them aware of the situation and was able to get the refund back to my original credit card. Overall, it is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the water. With a little bit of updating and consistent cleaning, it would be a great place to spend time in.
