This beach house works well for multi-generation families, small groups (girlfriends' getaway), couples traveling together, kids of all ages!
-The spacious master bedroom features a queen bed and flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom.
-The second bedroom is large and features a queen bed and flat screen TV.
-The third bedroom has a full size bunk on top and full size bunk on bottom with a pull out twin trundle and a large flat screen Smart TV.
-Laundry room with washer and dryer
A pack and play and highchair is available for little ones at no charge.

Don't worry about bringing or buying beach gear. The house is stocked with sand toys, beach chairs, beach towels, a beach cart, etc. Just bring your own Speedo and flip flops!

Unlike many beach side properties this one features a large parking area with room for six cars.
A car is nice to have to see attractions further inland but guests without a car can take the Suncoast Trolley (trolley stop is a few steps from the front of the house)
up and down the Pinellas County beaches from Clearwater Beach to St. Pete Beach. Indian Shores features dedicated walking and separate bike path lanes.
There's plenty within a 2 mile radius - ice cream shops, Smugglers Cove mini golf, the seabird sanctuary, and tons of great restaurants. By car the house is 5 minutes from a Publix; Target and numerous other stores are all within a 15 minute drive.
We love spending time at 'Three Mermaids and a Crab' and hope you will, too!

Wonderful Indian Shores Beach House!

We had an amazing stay! Super close to the beach and an amazing pool!We love your Beach House! The three mermaids and a crab is forever in our memory. We will definitely be coming back!

Week Away

This property is great! The home is neat & cozy with plenty of room for all. We spent a good bit of time out by the pool and were just steps from the beach. It was a great place to get away from regular life for a bit!

Didn’t Want to Leave

This property and location is perfect. Just the right size for our group. It is so close to the beach that we enjoyed sunsets every evening. The pool is heated and allowed us to enjoy pool parties on cooler days. Everything inside is clean and new and cozy.

Relaxing and comfortable.

This was our 3rd time staying at 3 mermaids and a crab. My family and I are very comfortable staying there. The beach was beautiful and we really enjoy the area restaurants. We are looking forward to an even longer stay next year.

Girls Trip

Traveled as a group of 6 for a Mothers/Daughters trip. Wonderful time. Cozy cabin with plenty of room for all. Close to beach. Steve was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend 3 Mermaids and a crab.

Labor Day Weekend

Celebrated my birthday over Labor Day weekend with my family, It’s hard to find a location that can truly accommodate 6 adults and has parking! The house was perfect, very clean and Steve is outstanding to work with!

Another great stay!

3 Mermaids and a Crab is out go-to spot in Indian Shores! We have stayed 2 years in a row and our stay was even better this year. The location to the beach, restaurants and shops makes it easy to park once and walk everywhere during your stay! The addition of the outdoor shower this year was a nice surprise! Steve is always easy to reach and quickly solved a minor problem we had with the pool. I recommend this property all the time and there is no doubt we will stay again next year!

Perfect SFH on the beach with a pool!!

Our family had a great stay at 3 Mermaids and a Crab! The house had everything you needed and the short walk to the beach was amazing! The backayrd pool was a added bonus. If you love local coffee, there is a great coffee shop a mile down the road called Indian Shores Coffee! Amazing coffee and homemade treats. My Brother and SIL are Vegan and they even had breakfast items for them. This home is walkable to restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying here and will book again soon!

Just plain awesome

Terrific! This place has it all… location, outdoor pool and deck, 90 sec walk to the beach! Our family of 6 loved the pool area. We spent more time there than at the beach! If you like ice cream, walk in either direction and you have a choice in under 5 minutes! All you really need to bring are your clothes. The hosts have thoughtfully provided everything you need for the beach or pool. Laundry on site was also a huge plus with 4 kids! Outdoor grill was actually clean, unlike other properties we’ve stayed at. The restaurants in the area get really busy, really early in the evening, so we utilized the grill several nights. This is by far the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at! You can’t go wrong with this place!!

Wonderful Stay at the Beach

Our stay at this beach house couldn't have been better! Right from the start everything worked! The photos on the site made it easy to determine whether it would work for our family and guests. The owner was more than happy to answer any questions I had, and her response was very quick. The house and property was perfect for our needs. It was spacious for entertaining, both inside and out. The living and kitchen area is large open and roomy. The deck and fenced in yard allows children to play and enjoy. The house comes totally equipped with just about everything one would need for staying and preparing full meals. Beds are comfortable and there are closets, hangers, hooks and a medicine cabinet. The decor definitely added to the feel of a tropical paradise! We felt like we were in a gallery of beachy art. You can tell the owners gave a lot of thought to create the feel of an island getaway. The parking is a big plus! It made it easy for accommodating family members visiting for a day at the beach. Such a great benefit, as parking is always an issue in resort areas. The extremely close beach access was another plus. It took just a few minutes and we were setting up our chairs and umbrellas in the sand. We loved that the water line is much closer than other areas of the Gulf beaches, where you have to walk a good distance to reach it. That was a nice surprise. We had younger children with us and it makes it so much easier when you don't have to walk forever to reach the water. The deck was a nice size for entertaining and having a barbeque. The grill is such a nice feature to offer and there is plenty of seating. Loved having the washer and dryer too. Our family members and day guests had a simply wonderful time. I thought it might be a problem with only one bathroom, but it was not, at all! I would recommend this vacation spot in a minute and have already have passed on info for it. Thank-you for thinking of all our needs for a mini-vacation and making your home feel like a perfect paradise!

Excellent location!

This house hit all the marks for our group, very close to the beach access, clean, and private. We were able to have 8 of us without feeling like we were too crowded. The house is clean, and the updated kitchen was great. A little light on the kitchen utensils, towels, but enough to make it work. Steve was very speedy in getting us replacement beach chairs and umbrella when notified of broken ones.
