Private apartment in the mountains

Hummingbird Hill is located at 4000 feet in western Carolina mountains and is the perfect quiet mountain getaway. Your apartment has a private entrance and deck overlooking a pond. We are minutes from Lake Glenville and High Falls. Cashiers is just a 20 minute drive. It is a studio apartment with kitchen and bath with walk in shower. In addition to the king size bed if you are traveling with children we can provide a cot and portacrib.

Hummingbird Hill is one of the most relaxing, refreshing places we have stayed. The host was most helpful with helping find local places. It is a place to go to renew your body and soul.

debi's house is beautiful and secluded in the middle of the woods. I just came for a night because I had work in the area and I really enjoyed my stay. nice, clean and private room with everything you need, definitely would come back. thanks Debi!

This place is perfect for one or two people who want to escape their hectic schedules for a brief respite. The apartment is very comfortable, and the surrounding grounds are pure magic. Debi is a delightful and thoughtful host who goes way beyond the expected. We will definitely be returning for another visit.

Life has definitely been life lately and I needed somewhere to go to find some peace, even for just a little bit. This place was that and more. The property is absolutely gorgeous. It even made the rainy weather feel like paradise. I will definitely be back.

Everything was great . We were glad to be staying there again . It is so “homey” , and comfortable. However , we really missed hearing the rooster crowing . We hope to stay again sometime.

My weekend away

The apartment, property and area were absolutely lovely and a great place to spend some much needed quiet time. Debi is a wonderful host and I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in the area.

We loved to stay at Debi's apartment. She is a great host, very helpful and the place is comfortable and cozy. The setting is beautiful as the activities you can do around.

This was by far one of the best VRBO experiences I have ever had. The apartment was lovely, and Debi went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We spent a lot of time out on the deck, which makes you feel like you are hanging out in the trees. The mountain is so peaceful and quiet, except for the birds and chickens in the background. I honestly cannot say enough about how relaxing it was. I did not want to come back home and cannot wait to go back many more times in the future. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the middle of nowhere. It was just what I needed!

You can’t go wrong here! Wonderful accommodations:- bed SO comfortable - shower wonderful - kitchen includes every amenity you might ever need- gorgeous setting with beautiful porch with comfy seating Host is gracious and accommodating. Five star!
