Built in 1861, this charming row home is located on a quiet street in the Historic District. This spacious one bedroom getaway is perfect for a couple looking to explore the rich history of Savannah, or a traveling single.

Enter your property via electronic lock, and forget the hassle of carrying keys! Stepping inside you'll be pleasantly surprised by the tall ceilings and the amount of natural light. The living room offers a plush grey sofa, arm chair and flat screen television, perfect for those who have their own Netflix or Hulu accounts! A dedicated dining space to enjoy home-cooked meals can be found just adjacent to the living room. Walking down the hall, guests will find the spacious and open kitchen that offers granite countertops, plenty of prep space and a full size washer/dryer thats tucked away. At the back of the home just outside of the bedroom, a roomy bathroom with vanity and shower/tub combination. The bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed, hotel grade linens and a television with access to stream your favorite apps. The private patio is just off of the bedroom, and is a private oasis perfect for a morning cup of joe.

This landmark home built for Noble Hardee in 1861 is perfectly situated to explore Savannah’s historic district. This fully renovated cottage has everything you’ll need to enjoy your getaway. The Honey Bee Cottage is in an excellent location-a short walk to Troup Square, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and historic Jones Street, voted one of the prettiest streets in the United States! A short drive or walk puts you on either Broughton Street or River Street where shopping and dining abound-it truly is the ideal location from which to explore Savannah.

The property really had a feeling of home. It had every amenity and comfort of home one could imagine; down to the cozy blankets to snuggle on the sofa with. Located in a very walkable neighborhood, it is easy to fit in like a local. I know because I am from Savannah. I look forward to returning to the Rose Cottage.

Great apartment in historic downtown Savannah

We loved that the place was dog friendly and that it was walkable to everything in Historic Downtown Savannah. Very comfortable king bed, good communication from the property management company, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap - everything you need for your stay.

10 days in paradise!

Wedding and birthday

This place was cute and spacious enough for the two of us. Great location for walking and biking downtown. Small courtyard was nice and kept the bikes out of the way and secure. Would consider staying again if tub drain is cleared so tub can drain and you're not standing in water while you take a shower. Side patio also needs to be cleaned as there is some visible mold.

Long weekend getaway

This property has everything you need for a stay away from home. Better than the same ole hotel stay. Quiet, convenient location.

NOT CLEANED PROPERLY

This would have been a very nice 5 nights except that the place had a VERY BAD ODOR of cooked fish. After notifying the management the person that investigated the odor found that there was a frying pan with oil and fish in it. He tried to spray for the odor and air it out, but nothing worked. The odor lasted from Sunday through Friday. The cleaners did not do a very good job. We found money on the floor of the walk-in closet and dirt on top of the fridge. This place was in a nice location and would have been perfect except for the above problem. Another problem was no measuring spoons, napkins, or Kleenex.

Perfect location

We chose his location because it's located on a lovely street within walking distance to River St, groceries ,bars, coffee shops, retail, etc. The property itself is a very nice cottage with front and back porches.

Wonderful Place, Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was comfortable, clean and in a great location! Walking distance to everything you want to see in the Historic Savannah area! Parking was free on the street on front of the house, but was monitored across the street, however we had no problems finding parking. On Thursday there was street cleaning, so we just moved the car and then moved it back after the street cleaning was completed. It was large enough for myself and my husband. We worked a couple of days and there was plenty of space for both of us to do so comfortably.Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable well-located apartment

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After initial frustrations with the door key code being incorrect--quickly corrected by a phone call--and finding a poorly stocked kitchen, I discovered the dishwasher had all we were missing. Hosts were responsive to a dearth of towels and no dish towels, but still only provided one dish towel. I have never rented an apt where I had to empty the dishwasher myself but maybe others have. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was fine for the minimal cooking we did. The bath was fine, although I would suggest they add some safety bars. The tub was quite high getting out especially, and there was nothing to hold onto. Lounge and dining area were fine and quite pleasant. One night the heat came on and was a bit noisy. The ceiling fan was not on, so we switched it on to run clockwise (for winter), and that fixed the problem. There were no decent maps, so we left as many as we could find for the next guests. It would have been helpful to know that a free shuttle stop was two blocks away, so we left the DOT map as well along with pamphlets from some of the sites we enjoyed. We would happily stay here again and recommend Lucky Savannah's properties.

Nice Stay in Savannah!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This apartment was in a great location. Easy to check in and out. We couldn't find our booking information on the drive up and staff were very helpful and responsive. Comfortable king bed and living room. Inside was clean and had all the amenities listed. My only comment is that the back porch was covered in wet leaves and fallen tree branches and was unusable until we cleared everything off. Feel that if a property lists itself as providing a porch, then the porch and its area should be swept and prepared for guests just as the inside is.

Great house and location. Needs a new bed.

We stayed in this house about 5 years ago. We decided to stay again on our honeymoon since we liked the house and location so much. Then the bed had a new super comfortable memory foam mattress. I believe 5 years later it’s the same mattress. As you can imagine it was not nearly as comfortable. This great house needs a new bed.
