The Space:

A Perfect Romantic Getaway in one of the countries most magical cities!!

The 1869 original Carriage House is a free standing cottage behind the main house with its own private entrance off the lane/alley.



It is located on the 2nd floor over the garage like all original carriage houses in Savannah, so there is a flight of stairs to get to the 2nd floor home.

The carriage house is where the livery driver lived in the 1800s above the horses and carriages he cared for. The Wedding Cake Carriage House comes with a highly coveted garage parking space.



The unusual design is evocative of a “Manhattan loft” set in a historic 1869 carriage house. This surprise blending of original 1920 - 1940 art deco furnishings and many antique elements creates a fun, casual ambiance.

The open and airy open concept living space showcases an entire wall of frosted artist windows, thus flooding the house with natural light.



The bedroom with king bed and TV is adjacent to the alluring bathroom with luxurious features such as 6 foot air tub and separate marble shower.



The complete kitchen provides everything you need to whip up a Southern style meal or just grab toast and coffee on the way out your door to take in the cities historical sights that you are just steps out your door!



This reservation includes one private, garage parking space.



Guest may use the walled courtyard although it is shared with guests in the Main House.



NOTES:

There is a washer/dryer in the garage for you to use during your stay.



Maximum occupancy is 2 people, including infants & children.



Minimum age to reserve is 25 years old, no exceptions.



No pets or smoking.

Its a 5 minute walk to Forsythe park, a 20 minute walk to the river front. The apartment was clean, comfortable. Parking in the garage was nice. A little water damage on the bedroom ceiling and bathroom ceiling, not concerning. Shower and bath were great.

Thank you for the kind review and we hope you come back!! NOTE: the water damage on ceiling is from the ac unit dripping. We had it fixed before your arrival but have not had the time to paint/repair the spots. We are doing this next week when the home is empty for a few days. Thanks again and come back soon!

The wedding cake carriage house is very clean and i would stay there again in a hot minute. The communication was great with the host and i pointed out a couple of things so i would not take the blame a d the host knew about and said they was getting fix

We had a lovely stay! The garage was a blessing after arriving late due to a delayed flight on a rainy night. It would have been a challenge to find parking. The unit was nice and overall clean. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated having charging ports next to the bed. We didn’t cook as we had planned to enjoy several of Savannah’s amazing restaurants.The location is fantastic. Close enough to walk to Forsyth Park, which we did on Saturday morning for the Farmers Market. It is also convenient to the River Street attractions. We didn’t know the area, but were pleased with the location. Definitely a great spot for two people traveling together and wanting to be in the heart of the historic district. The Old Town Trolley was a great way to get the lay of the city and see lots of squares. Thank you!

Loved the location in the historic district! Easy to walk to everything and very quiet. The garage was so great even fit our big Ram truck and we could store our E bikes!! We would definitely return!!

Perfect location to explore Savannah’s historic district. The clean apartment was in a carriage house right off E. Jones Street. It was quiet and comfortable. Great communication with the host. Highly recommend!

Great spot. Comfy quiet home. Fantastic location for a couple who want to walk all over. I never say this, but we’d go back! Love Savannah and loved this place!

Very well appointed apartment within walking distance of all downtown Savannah. Very nice to have a garage for parking our van. Highly recommend a visit.

The location was perfect. A short walk to every place we wanted to visit and also quiet and safe at night. The bed was super comfortable, the shower pressure was amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. Having a garage made parking a breeze as well. It was a wonderful place to stay and soak in the historical gem that is downtown Savannah.

Great place to stay
