With its beautiful palette of soft whites and pastels, this Tops'l Summit condo exudes ease, serenity, and coastal relaxation. Here on the shores of Miramar Beach, you'll be treated to a private balcony where you can begin each morning, easy access to the white sugar sand (via a short walk or free tram ride), and on-site resort amenities and facilities that include two restaurants, swimming pools, a hot tub, and tennis courts.

On the grounds of Tops'l Beach and Racquet Resort, you'll be able to walk to the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a spacious gym, a sauna and steam room, a mini-golf course, and courts for tennis, racquetball, shuffleboard, and basketball. When you're not dining or grabbing a tropical cocktail on-site, you'll have your pick of dining and shopping options on Grand Boulevard (one mile north) and at Baytowne Wharf (two miles north) and Destin Commons (seven miles west). You'll also be just west of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park - a wonderful place to immerse yourself in nature.

No canopies or tents are allowed on TOPS'L Beach.
Important Notice – Ongoing Roofing Project
Please be advised that the Summit Homeowners Association is coordinating a roofing project on the property through May 2025, and construction may take place during your stay. We expect minimal disruption and all materials will be confined within a fenced-off area located on the northeast side of the parking lot.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 2.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location, paper thin walls

Loved the location of this condo. Overlooking the pool and close to the main elevators. 5 minute walk to the beach, where there is another pool/bar that you can use. Nice boardwalk and private beach. Room and furniture could use some updates, but not horrible. The one big negative is that it is connected to unit 209 with a very thin door and the walls must be thin too because we could hear the neighbor’s conversations like they were in the room with us. Wouldn’t have been bad, but this family was super loud around midnight. Kids screaming and adults yelling/talking really loud. We called what I think was the security desk, but I don’t think they did anything or came up. Room would work great if you rent 209 and 209A together.

Nice rental for the money

This is an end unit, so it’s nice and bright with extra windows during the day. The room was clean and overlooking the pool. No complaints about the room or the entire grounds itself. Beach is a 4-5 minute walk. Wishes….. would have been nice to have a couple of chairs to sit in and watch tv or a small couch on rainy mornings/days. We camped out on the bed. I read reviews about the sound from the thin walls, unfortunately we had a loud family next to us, two of the nights we heard the kids screaming and mom yelling until midnight which was not pleasant. But for the money, I’d take the risk and go back

Perfect for couples!

This room was the perfect size for me and my husband. We didn't want to worry with a full-size kitchen, so the little kitchenette setup was perfect. We did buy some groceries to feed us for breakfast and lunch, and then we went out for dinner. Everything we needed was onsite or a short drive away. The room was close to all kinds of stores and restaurants and was only a short walk to the beach, which was very clean and just gorgeous! The pools on the property were clean as well. There were all kinds of nearby attractions for golf, tennis, nature walks, and sea adventures. We spent must of our time on the beach and swimming in the pool by our room, so I cannot comment on the property's other amenities. The security guards on site were very kind and helpful, who were the only personnel we encountered during our stay, aside from the gentleman at guest registration, who was also nice and helpful. We enjoyed a sunset cruise at AJ's in Destin, which was just a short drive away, and it was very fun! Our room was stocked with plenty of clean towels, and I thought the room was very cozy. I'm giving this place 5 stars because of how much I enjoyed it; however, my husband felt the mattress was a little too firm (I was wore out from the beach every night, so I slept like a log!), and there was some renovation going on in the room above ours that was pretty loud. The noise started around 9 and went until about 5 for about 2 days straight, but we were usually on the beach or in the pool from 10 until early evening when we would return to get ready for dinner. It did not really bother me though since we were gone from our room for most of it. We loved staying here, have told all our friends and family about our wonderful experience, and we hope to come back again! It was my favorite beach experience to date, and I am missing the white sand and emerald waters already!

Summit

Thin Walls Thinner Promises

The day we arrived we could hear persons in the unit next to us as if we were in the same unit--it was like they were in our room and we were in their room. A thin and very inadequate door separated the two units which we believe were actually one unit being exploited as two to make more money. We asked the front desk about this issue three times and were told each time that maintenance would place a weather strip in the door to enable more privacy. This was never done. Excuses were offered for why the problem was not being fixed but they were not helpful. In addition on the second night a new family was in the room and we could hear everything they said. It was unbearable. We were left to whisper. We talked with the front desk and they said that no one was supposed to be in that room--they were very surprised that people were in that room. The gentleman helping us did respond. Security explored this and found that the TV had been left on and the door not shut (were they hoping to return--thankfully they did not). Anyway, all of this disturbed our stay, limited our privacy, took precious time, and left a very bad taste in our mouth. We will not likely stay with TOPS'l again. It was too expensive an endeavor to have those kinds of distractions--the walls were thin but the promises to address this problem were even thinner. Thanks for inviting feedback.

Would not recommend.

Was not at all happy with Vacasa. Was turned away because I was not 25 which is extremely ridiculous. The staff was not understanding at all and says this happens 4-5 times a day which is ridiculous. Not happy at all with how Vacasa handled the situation.

Good Location Poor Customer Service

Overall, we enjoyed our stay - but if you value your sleep, do not rent this unit. We knew this was a studio with an adjoining door going in, but didn't realize how incredibly paper thin the walls are. We had horrible neighbors next to us who stayed up all night. I called the office several times during posted office hours to try to get moved to a new unit and got no answer, so I left a message. I finally got a return call more than 24 hours later, after we had already checked out and was told nothing could be done because I didn't lodge the complaint during quiet hours. Just dismissed the fact that I did try to call, left a message, and didn't get through or a return call - but whatever Vacasa. He also suggested that I not rent a studio on my next visit. The mattress in this room is as hard as a rock. Truly uncomfortable. This unit is right next to the elevator (like 10 steps). Convenient when going to the pool or beach, terrible for sleep. The unit is in a great location for going to the pool and beach. It is a little walk to the beach, but it isn't far at all. If you stay here you do not have access to Pickle Ball courts. We found that out the hard way. All the equipment rental for Pickle Ball, mini golf, etc. is at the Tides building and is all located together. Once we got to the Pickle Ball court, we found a lock box on the gate requiring a code. I called about that and they said that only Tides residents have access to those courts. Misleading when equipment rental is all from the same place and we were given the equipment. So heads up there to the next renters. Knowing what we know now, we likely would not rent in this building in the future.
