One of the cleanest houses we've ever stayed at. The kitchen was very well appointed - we prepared multiple meals and found everything we needed. AC and fans worked well on some very hot days. And the location is excellent - we spent a lot of time swimming in the cool water off the dock, with great views of the main part of the lake. It was easy to tie up our pontoon rental and motor out to the lake whenever we wanted. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful Easy Feeling!

Beautiful property on a quite part of the lake - SO peaceful we felt like we were the only people on earth. Wonderful stay!!

Amazing Stay!

Everything was just as planned. The house was amazing and the boat house was even better. We had kids with us and they absolutely loved swimming off the dock. The location was great. It’s in a cove but right at the point so not far down. We really enjoyed our time and plan to be back!

Absolutely Amazing

From the moment we walked in, this home had everything we needed and more. From the special touches, beautiful decor and amazing views, this home is a little piece of heaven.

The house was spacious and clean. Beth was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. We could not have expected or asked for more.

Amazing home right on the water

I can't say enough great things about our stay here! From the lovely home and decor, well appointed kitchen, amazing deck and patios, to the incredible boatdecks (2 story!) with everything you could possibly need to have fun on the water. This home did not disappoint in any way. The owner was so pleasant and easy to communicate with. We had such a a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

Anchors away revirw

Nice a house and dock. Only downside was Wi-Fi and cell was very poor. Could not stream tv half the time. Had zero cell signal most of the time. If you want to get away to nice house and a really get away and disconnect this is your place

Nice place

3 different living room areas, 2 upstairs, 1 down. Separation from adults and kids if that's what you are looking for. Nice amenities inside and out. Probably won't stay here again because i'm somewhat handicapped and there are lots of stairs. But that's my issue, not theirs. You'll do well to stay here. Owner is very nice and extremely helpful

Nice clean place. Minor cosmetic issues that I’m sure they are working through as they update it. Good location on a quiet cove, a very short distance from the main lake, boat ramp and marina. Approximately 20 minutes from the Food Lion but there is a new DG Market about 5 minutes away. A lot of rules in the welcome binder, including no fishing from the dock, which should be disclosed before renting a lake front property.

Great Lake Weekend with Friends!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Gaston Getaway. This property was ideal for hanging out at the boathouse, which was fantastic, especially the new power awning. The property owner is clearly investing in renovations which we enjoyed. The only hiccup was the beds... we were informed in advance that the beds would not be made but sheets were available; this wasn't quite as easy as expected since sheets weren't centrally located but rather spread through the house. The view of the main Lake was fantastic and worth booking this rental. Also to mention, there was plenty of parking for the crew and a boat ramp inside the community which was extremely convenient. We hope to rent again, thank you!

We had an amazing time. We cooked out, swam, and brought our jet ski. Boat ramp is very convenient. I would rent it again.

Very nice place to stay

Very nice location. The house is beautiful and has wonderful open floor plan. The dock/boat house is awesome. The neighborhood boat ramp made it easy to put our jet skis in and out of the water. We found a binder in the kitchen. At first glance, it looks like a copy of the power point provided by the host prior to the trip with general info like door code and where to take the trash. After a couple of days into our stay, I flipped through the binder and found list of rules. One of which stated no fishing from boat house. This is probably something that should be part of the listing. The main reason we go to lake is to fish. Overall, great place and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing stay at the lake.

Great Summer Vacation

If your looking for a stress and worry free house to rent for a summer vacation at LKG, this is the spot. Beth was so nice and easy to work with! She even left us a s'mores kit and glow sticks for the kids. The house has everything you need and it is very clean. The dock is fantastic! We brought our own MasterCraft with us and my parents rented a pontoon boat. We were able to tie everything up with no issues, plenty of room! Thanks again Beth! We had a great week :)

Fisherman's dream

We used this home as a place to stay while fishing a tournament on lake gaston. It was perfect for us!!! I can't wait to use it again

Lake get away

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect location on the lake. House was great. Everything we needed was there. Owners were great & responded to all our questions very quickly. Will definitely stay here again!!

Revised Senior Trip

Brought my son and some fellow 2020 graduates. It was such a nice relaxing time. The new sun deck and boat dock are wonderful! The house is beautiful! Will definitely return!
