This was a great choice for our family. Responsive owners, quiet area, lots of stuff to use to enjoy the lake. Kitchen worked for us, WiFi was reliable, great nature.

Our family enjoyed lake vacation at Second Wind! The house was the perfect size so each of us could relax together or in our own separate spaces. Our children especially enjoyed playing chess, connect four, swimming off the dock, and observing the deer and other wildlife that visited the back yard. We took trips to Littleton, Durham, and the winery nearby. Our favorite gathering place was the screened in porch where we watched beautiful sunsets and boats or jet skis flying by. The home is well-maintained and very comfort. We would definitely stay here again!

All good in Bracey! From the house to the pier to the grounds and surrounding area, everything was excellent! Would return in a minute.

Great Location, Dock and House!

We had a great time and the house was perfect for out family. The dock was great and my only suggestions would be if you plan on brining a boat, like we did, bring a few extra bumpers for tying up you boat. The neighbor is quiet and the ramp is just down the road from the house. Everything was clean, well kept and perfect for out family vacation. We will definitely be back again!

Great vacation spot on Lake Gaston!

Our family joined another family of friends for a lake vacation. The house was supplied with everything we needed - indoor games, outdoor games, deck chairs, kayaks, life jackets, water mat. We had to contact the owner a couple of times, & they were quick to respond & extremely gracious. We fished & swam off the dock. The town had a great fireworks show for July 4th. We had a great time & made great memories. Internet service was good & TVs were set up with streaming services, although we didn't use them much. :) Highly recommend!!!

Ken- sorry to hear you experienced issues with the WiFi. I wish you would have reached out during your stay so we could have tried to remedy for you. We do currently have the best internet option in our area but are in the process of upgrading to Starlink. Hope to have that in place in the near future.

Simply Amazing

Our group loved all this property had to offer! It was the absolute cleanest property I personally have ever stayed in. My hats off to the cleaning crew! The kitchen was very well equipped which was a huge plus because I cooked almost everyday. Our favorite space was most definitely the screened in deck. It was such a great space for the guys to unwind after a hard day on the water…when it was too cool we just moved into the living room. The house is decorated perfectly and the furniture was all so comfortable! The owners had a house manual that gave all the information for the house…I wish all property owners would do this! If we come back to the area we will DEFINITELY book this property!

The house was a great location, right off of 85 in a quiet area of the lake. The kitchen was well appointed and the back deck was fantastic! It was a bit hard for my 80 year old parents to get down and back from the dock but we did it. Would visit again.

Amazing getaway

Beautiful location with great views. Quiet neighborhood. The house inside and out was amazing and the dock was perfect for our fishing vacation.
