This is our Reedville cottage "Bayrise" with private beach on Chesapeake Bay, open concept small contemporary, dog friendly house, maximum 1 dog, 70' from the water, sleeps 4, bed and bath linens Not included. Loft with queen bed and sitting area overlooking the water. The beach can be under water do to storm systems and tides occasionally. The water is always accessible. 1st floor full bath, bedroom with twin bunks, open concept living room and kitchen with WIFI, large flat screen TV for amazon firestick only. 2 kayaks (one a double), 1 canoe, 2 beach chairs and outdoor shower. Views from Every window!

The house was perfect. And the private beach was everything. The description of the property was accurate and made it easy to plan the best vacation. We had the best time floating around and watching the local wildlife. Will definitely come back!

Gorgeous modern decor, while feeling cozy. Perfect for family of 5 with 3 younger kids who doesn't mind sharing space. The outdoor porch was great for sitting and taking in the sunrise. Plenty of water vessels for extra fun and the private beach was perfect. We will return in the future! Our dog enjoyed his trip too!

The location is fantastic but we had a little bit of difficulty finding it in the dark. Google Maps took us to the wrong house, but Apple Maps got us there just fine. The view is amazing and we enjoyed getting in the water. The outdoor shower is a plus and the house was comfortable. Remember to bring towels and bed linens and memorize the door code- we locked ourselves out! Great recommendations from the owner about restaurants and things to do. We also really appreciated that we could bring our dog with us. Thank you!

We will add please use Apple Maps, will add a video and neon numbers at the st. We have 1/8 mi private drive. Yes you can remember door code or just flip switch to stay unlocked. Yes “the location is fantastic” and linens not provided in the listing and stated in the entry package, don’t forget. We always strive to incorporate guest suggestions.

Dramatic property with unique private beach. If you want an untraditional beach vacation this is the spot. Close enough to activities yet truly a world of its own!

Please, no one book this place until I lock in my next trip. This place is truly a gem and we will be coming back as often as possible. There are certainly a few very minor house maintenance things that could be improved (mainly beefing up stairs to the beach), but overall it’s a tremendous value. Kudos to the owners for creating such a lovely space.

Reedville has been my childhood vacation spot since before I could walk. We own a small lot on Parker that is no longer livable. Reedville/Chesapeake holds a piece of my heart. I was able to bring to my daughter down and she has fallen in love as well. I haven’t stayed since my dad and papa passed so this trip did my heart some good. My daughter and I went for walks, spent hours and hours on the private beach and the community beach. The house is cute as could be! I havent had a vacation in 3 years and im so glad this is the trip we took. We will be back, and I plan to stay while we take down the old shack and hopefully someday I can call our place on Parker home. Until next time

Excellent, loved this getaway!

Perfect spot for a quiet Easter weekend with books and the sound of water while sitting in the Adirondack chairs each day. You won’t regret this stay, will definitely come back!

great getaway!

This cozy cottage was great for our family getaway. We loved being right on the water with our own private beach - and especially the enjoyed the kayaks provided by the property owner.

The photos don't do it justice! Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Communication was great, the house was lovely, but wow the location, the beach, the sunrise... this is an absolute hidden gem. Highly recommended!

We had a great time, the low tide wasn’t too low to enjoy the private beach but there are a lot of variables that affect that which we are aware of and it was still beautiful and fun, we would definitely return. Thank you Nathan for your beautiful home

Great place!

We loved kayaking and swimming and really enjoyed our quiet relaxing time in a private beach setting. The house was quaint, but perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 boys.
