SurfSide is a peaceful beach retreat located in the heart of Jenness Beach. This newly constructed 4 bedroom home is one of nicest available rentals in New Hampshire. It is beautifully furnished and in immaculate condition. SurfSide boasts a great yard, complete with Weber grill making it perfect for cookouts and gathering with family and friends. The home also boasts a large finished basement with bunkbeds, great for young kids or teenagers. Guests of SurfSide are a short walk to Summer Sessions Surf Shop, where they can enjoy Acai Bowls and fresh breakfast sandwiches, and The Carriage House, featuring upscale American dining and the best cocktail menu in coastal New Hampshire.

Enjoy morning coffee or read a book in SurfSide's large screened-in porch, or take an afternoon stroll along Jenness Beach. The quiet beaches make it perfect for young children, while older kids and adults can enjoy paddle boarding and surfing. The sunsets are amazing and the beach never gets too busy. With perfect views of nearby Isles of Sholes, enjoy sunset barbecues or clam bakes, and cocktails with family and friends. Ride a bike through our quiet neighborhoods and explore the rich18-mile New Hampshire coastline. Take a 10-minute drive to quaint Portsmouth and enjoy some of the finest restaurants in New England, or play the Skee-Ball and pinball machines at the Funarama Arcade in bustling Hampton Beach.

The 9% New Hampshire Room and Meals tax is only paid on rentals with a period of 185 days or less. Any lease longer than 185 days is exempt from New Hampshire Room and Meals Tax.

This property is available for a long term winter rental from September to June for $5500/month, including utilities.

DO NOT RENT THIS HOME!!! Used VRBO many times. This experience was by far the worst! After committing to dates, the owner decided we could not have one of the days that was agreed to. No reason provided not even an apology. I am still waiting for a full refund!! A new induction stove was installed with no pans that that would work. The AC broke in the middle of a heat wave. The propane for the gas grill was almost empty. The secondary bedrooms do not have dressers and there is a funky barn door connecting 2 of the bedrooms which is not disclosed or shown in the pictures, etc. etc. Management company was difficult to deal with and did not do what they said. I expected much more for what they charge per night!

Beautiful home and great location!

We loved our stay here in Rye. The house was clean and beautiful - only steps away from the beach and a cute coffee shop where we got breakfast sandwiches every morning. Would definitely recommend!

Great Family Vacation

The house is fantastic. Everything was as pictured and in good working order. The kitchen had all that we needed. Beach is a 4 minute walk. Very mellow vibe all around.

Graduation vacation

We enjoyed the stay immensely. The location could not be better. The house is lovely. Unfortunately, we had a couple of hiccups but the property manager was excellent in helping to resolve issues. It was great to have beach chairs and carts to get everything to the beach. The coffee/lunch shop at the end of the street is perfect and the Carriage House restaurant was truly amazing. We will definitely be back!

Everything across the board was amazing. The owner was very responsive and accommodating and the location can’t be beat aside from being on the water. Walking distance to everything you would need and want to see in the beautiful town of Rye beach. Would absolutely rent again!

This location was perfect for our 2 family vacation! A short walk to the beach for plenty of fun and sun. Great screen porch and kitchen! Mark was an excellent host!

Overall, an enjoyable family vacation. Spacious and roomy for 8 people. Loved the screened in porch along with the downstairs for teens. Great laundry area. Kitchen will appointed and great to gather as a family as open concept to living room. As a side note to two of the bedrooms upstairs, there is a sliding barn style door that separates the rooms.

Surfside Rye

Fantastic home! Had everything: all the cookware needed, great appliances, beach towels, beach chairs & umbrella (Jenness Beach is amazing and it's a short walk). Location is terrific! Ran every day in such a beautiful area, short walk to Summer Sessions, easy drive to Rye Harbor Lobster (awesome food!) and right by the beach. Screened in porch for morning coffee and evening Radler is the best! Thanks to property owner Mark too! Made everything so easy and gave us great suggestions in Rye. We will be back!

Excellent House in an even better location

This immaculate house is in an excellent location with a short walk to the beach. The house had everything we could possibly need for our family and some friends that visited for the day at the beach and later for dinner. Communication with the property manager was great and he was quick to respond with some questions we had.
