Entire place to yourself! This property is brand new, located in picturesque setting. It’s truly a hidden treasure....
Take in the 5 acre pine tree views during the day and stargaze at night.
Take a drive down Ghost Canyon Road where you can take a hiking trail. Take a left onto Playhouse Rd where you’ll find the perfect hike to an abandoned gold mining town of Spokane.
Lakota Lake, Center Lake and Bismarck Lake are also very close! Use one of our kayaks and pull out a big Rainbow Trout!
This place was built for you! We want our guests to enjoy our little peace of heaven.

1 new king bed in main bedroom and a comfortable full futon in the living area.

Parking spot for guests is behind three log stumps right when you turn in driveway to the left.

Guests frequently comment on it being the best location to stay to see it all.

Host has lived in the Black Hills entire life, teaches on the reservation and gives tours of the Black Hills. Please just ask if you need anything!

Cute clean bungalow in a great location!

Such a great place to stay. Paula was super friendly. The bungalow was clean, super cute and had everything we needed. Close to Custer State Park. Would definitely stay with them again. Thank you!

May vacation in Black Hilss/Badlands

this is a quiet, comfortable place with a nice view from the spacious deck of fields, horses, trees and hills. A perfect spot from which to launch to the Black Hills and Badlands. The owners are helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice Quiet Loft

Paula and Steve were great hosts, very welcoming and full of great information about the area. If you need anything they are next door. Nice clean place just far enough from the bustle to be quiet, but close enough to see everything that you want to.

Short Side Trip to Black Hills area - Awesome Hosts!

Highly enjoyed this nice little gem on the east side of the Black Hills area in a beautiful rolling hills neighbourhood! The hosts were so kind and friendly and gave awesome suggestions for day trips. Easy access time Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Needles scenic drive. Rapid City is only 30 minutes away. Pictures on-line don’t do the bungalow justice! Nicely decorated and contemporary. Sitting in the deck at night and looking at the stars was amazing. The bungalow was spacious For the two of us and private. If ever back in the area, we will stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely but not for everyone

There are lots of reasons to like this location, it’s in a quiet spot and is perfectly located to the area’s many attractions. Paula is also very responsive, helpful and a wealth of knowledge on the area. The bungalow is located above the garage with a lovely view from the deck. If you are comfortable with a mini refrigerator (no freezer) and hot plate for a stove (no oven) and with 19 wooden steps-to access the unit then you won’t have any trouble.

My husband was over to the unit 5 minutes within you messaging us, I also came over with ice, drinks and water. Unfortunately air conditioners do need serviced and the 5 people we called were booked out.. free on has been added and it running like a champ! The stairs were part of the description and pictures…

A very clean, small cabin - perfect size for a couple! Great for getting away from city noise as it is quiet and peaceful. Easy drive to Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Rapid City. Hosts were awesome! Very friendly and extremely helpful. If you need anything, they are very responsive!

We could not have been happier with everything! Our hosts were so welcoming and saw to every need. We enjoyed them so much that we shared a walk down their peaceful country road the night before heading home. The location was great for visiting Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the beautiful Black Hills area. It was quiet and we enjoyed many leisurely meals and drinks on the very private deck. We will definitely return if we are in the area and pass it on to friends travelling that way!

We enjoyed our stay. Our host was great. Very friendly, kind, and responsive. The apartment was very clean. Location was perfect for us. Quiet and peaceful yet not too far from the sites we wanted to visit such as Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park, and Rapid City. There are steps to the apartment but worth it to have the view from the deck. Thanks so much!

Beautiful hideaway that is close to everything!

We loved this stay! The Pierces were so welcoming and helpful! We had everything we needed and we’re able to see the badlands, Mount Rushmore, Rapid City, and Custer in one weekend.

Much need reset

The host Steve and Paula(the hosts) where very welcoming and helpful for suggestions of things in the area. The place was a very nice 1 bedroom, living room with kitchen bungalow style off way from the house atop the work shop. With a lovely patio, we enjoyed at nights with a glass of wine/beer. We where happily with in 30 mins to just over an hour drive of everything possibly we where wanting to do. Mount Rushmore, Crazy horse, Rapid city, Custer State Park, Black Hills state park, Wind Cave state park and the BadLands National state park.

My name is Paula and I am a Black Hills native, living here my entire life. Some of my sweetest memories were living in Custer State Park and working 3 summers at the State Game Lodge. I had a dream of once living on Ghost Canyon Rd and now live only miles away.
I currently teach on the reservation and wouldn’t teach anywhere else. In the summer I am a tour guide, meeting and serving others is just in me.
Where we live is stunning and we can’t wait to share it with you!
