Sunny, cozy country accommodations. Great home base from which to explore the beautiful Black Hills. 307 square feet. Sliding glass doors to private covered deck facing south with a nice view. Motion sensor light out front. Blackout curtains insure a good night's sleep! Includes complete kitchenette for family meals and a private bath. A comfy queen bed and two cushy twins in a day bed that doubles as a sofa during the day. Double wide dresser with plenty of space for two suitcases and drawers for clothing. Gas grill. Good cell reception. Family friendly.

Cozy cottage was the perfect location for seeing all the sites and parks, centrally located. Best part of the cottage is the back porch, best way to start and end each day and see deer, turkey, and bunnies. Comfortable and well equipped however the toilet runs and needs attention.

Very nice place. Had everything we needed. Did a lot of traveling while there so to know we had the place waiting for us every night was wonderful. Host was wonderful and was available. Very peaceful.

The place was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and the peace and quiet. The only issue we had and it’s understandable being out in the woods is we had a small problem with tiny ants, we found some ant spray and that took care of the issue. Other than that it was great.

The location was great. It’s only an hour from wind cave and 12 minutes to Mount Rushmore which made it nice driving home at night. However the inside was not roomy, there were spider webs all over and the toilet didn’t work properly. The second night, a dog from next door was barking right as we were falling asleep for a half hour. We literally had to go outside and yell at the poor dog. No idea where his owner was but we had to text the owner owner about it

Perfect location away from the bustle yet close to all the “must sees”. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Host was extremely friendly and easy to contact if needed.Back patio perfect for morning coffee with the wildlife.

Great Location

This property is in a secluded area that is very relaxing. It is close to most of the attractions. Clean and well furnished. Would definitely stay there again.

This was an incredibly cozy and homey cottage with everything we needed during our stay. We loved sitting out on the porch, looking out at the beautiful landscape, and enjoyed visits from wildlife while we stayed. Would absolutely recommend!

South Dakota road trip stay

Great, cute little cottage that had most of what we needed for a few night stay to explore the western part of the state. It has an adorable patio out back that felt private and was very quiet.

We enjoyed the cabin very much. Good location for all of Mt. Rushmore area. Enjoyed the deer in the yard. The bottle of glass cleaner left under the sink was used a couple of times for our car windshield. Very handy and appreciated. This is a comment, Not a complaint. I saw the pictures and knew we were getting a day bed as the only seating and that it might not be great. Day beds do not make good normal seating. I know you want more beds and space is limited. Just commenting that we won't go to another place if a day bed is the only "comfortable" seating. Gas grill worked great.

great location and peaceful

this is a lovely cottage for a couple very private very peaceful central to all the great black hills attractions nestled about 1/4 mile up a gravel road the cottage is clean with all you need to stay for a couple days or a couple weeks we will likely stay here again thank you Barbara well done

Gives nice escape into nature. Deer, turkeys, rabbits, foxes and once even a bobcat was seen on the property! Great Black Hills location. Beautiful views, quiet country setting. Close to Mt. Rushmore and Rush Mountain Cave and amusement park.
