Nestled in Kure Beach, this beautiful single-family home is just about 200 feet from private beach access. Recently updated, it features new flooring, granite countertops, ceramic tiles, and stainless steel appliances. K & E By The Sea boasts four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed, while the second and third bedrooms feature queen beds, and the fourth bedroom includes two twin beds. A spacious wrap-around deck on the second level offers plenty of space to unwind and relax after a day at the beach. Enjoying dinners on the deck with ocean views, followed by storytelling in the rocking chairs, is a common pleasure. The neighborhood ensures peaceful nights and even more stunning ocean views from the third-story deck. With private beach access just a short walk away, and proximity to restaurants, shops, and the Kure Beach pier, we trust you'll cherish our property year-round.

My family and I adored this place. It was so close to the beach and had a lot of space and brightness in the house. The private beach access with the parking pass was perfect for my disabled mother.

Long weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this property… The location was excellent and the local amenities were also good while not being overwhelmingly busy. Our experience with the property owner was excellent and we would definitely consider staying at this property again in the future thank you!

The hosts were so friendly and very helpful! We had a few issues with appliances — the dishwasher was broken and the coffee pot did not work and Barbara was very easy to communicate with and had everything fixed!The location was amazing and the private beach access was a huge advantage to finding a quiet spot on the beach. The only downside was the house was not very well stocked. We actually purchased hand soap because there were none in any of the bathrooms and no extra towels we could find. The kitchen was also missing some basics. Keyless entry should really be considered by the owner. There was a different key for each door and we had to coordinate with the host for entry/exit of the property as opposed to letting ourselves in and out. But it was overall a very good stay!

Hi! Thanks for your feedback! Yes, as soon as we found out that the coffee maker and dishwasher were having issues, we had a replacement coffee maker to you ASAP and the brand new dishwasher fixed immediately - was an installation issue…. We have also talked to the cleaning company that handles the towels and soap - both of which should have been taken care of during the last cleaning before you and your guests arrived. If you have a second, I would love to hear which basics were missing from the kitchen so that we can get those restocked! As far as Keyless entry, that is in the works as we speak! Hope to have that up and running in the next few weeks. Again, thank you so much for the feedback as this is the only way for us to make any changes!

Great Location and Wonderful Host

The house is nice and open, plenty of parking and in a quite neighborhood right by the beach. The Host and co-Host was great and very accommodating. Highly recommend! We would stay here again.

Great place to stay

We only stayed for a day, but they let us check in earlier and out a little later. Was definitely a relaxing and spacious house. We all loved the outdoor patios.

We enjoyed our stay! There was a little hiccup at check-in with it not being ready by 4pm but we only had to wait 30 minutes. The upstairs toilet broke the first evening and the handyman was there the next morning bright and early to fix it. The house worked well for our family of 6. My teenager daughter was able to stay in the basement bedroom, parents on main floor, littles on the third floor.I am used to VRBOs providing things like trash bags and basic cleaning supplies (like Clorox) , which the home did not have. There was also no mop/swiffer anywhere that I could locate and the house is entirely laminate flooring so that would have been a plus for a quick clean up. The proximity to the beach is an amazing perk. That alone made the cost worth it for us. The private beach access was amazing literally just steps away from the home. Parking permits were great.One thing is that the listing didn’t indicate the additional bunk beds in the upstairs two beds room. This was another perk but should be updated in the listing for families needing additional beds. All in all, I would stay here again. Just be prepared to provide the very basic materials for cleaning.

Hi! I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience with the late check in due to the cleaning crew and the lack of basic supplies that should have been provided upon check-in. You are my second set of guests this summer season that have had this same issue. I will take full responsibility as this falls on the management company and the cleaning crew that I pay to take care of these basic necessities.. Again, I am personally embarrassed and disappointed in the lack of attention to detail that should have been addressed prior to your arrival. I sincerely appreciate your feedback so that I can make sure this does not continue to happen. Again, everything that you mentioned above should have been provided to you and your guests prior to your arrival.

Nice vacation home. Very clean. Barbara Bass was a very good host. The beach was very peaceful. The process of checking in and out was flawless. The kitchen and dining room was spacious. The WiFi had strong signals for my family devices. All of the rooms were very nice.

Wonderful family vacation spot!

This house is so open and light - we loved it! The separation of the bedrooms was perfect for our family and gave us privacy and also a big space to all gather. Close to the beach access and we were very luck to have beautiful weather all week. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Family Vacation

Great location, short walk to private beach and lots of conveniences (restaurants, food shopping, aquarium, etc). Home is well equipped with beach chairs, kids beach toys, bicycles, boogie boards, grill, ping pong, outdoor shower, etc. Each of the 4 bedrooms have there own on suite bathroom. Loved our stay!

Great location

This was our first stay in Kure beach and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was in a great location. Short walk to a private beach which was awesome! Short drive or bike ride to both Carolina beach pier and Kure beach pier. The house was roomy, clean, and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!

Great family getaway

We really enjoyed our time at the house. We had plenty of space for everyone to relax and rest. We also loved being able to take a quick walk across the street and be at the beach. The house had many things to make our stay convenient and comfortable. From the well equipped kitchen to the beach chairs and toys, we had what we needed. A highlight for us was the 7 rocking chairs on the porch. We spent loads of time out there in the early mornings and evenings. Thanks for a great weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at this Kure Beach property. The host reached out several times to ensure we had everything we needed. Beach access was a short walk, very easy to a less crowded part of the beach. Very close to things in both Kure and Carolina Beach. The house itself fit our families well and had everything we needed!

Overall nice. Only issues are crossing busy road to beach and the unit felt a little "tired", could use an update at this price point. But nice layout, location, private beach access and good service made up for it.

The house was the perfect location. Loved the private access for the beach and how close it was. Was able to see the ocean from the house. It was very relaxing. House fit my Brady bunch perfectly. The only thing was the grill was old and didn’t work so we weren’t able to grill out like we wanted to, other than that everything was great.

Wonderful Kure Beach getaway

My family and I, 3 daughters, 2 sons-in-law and 2 grandchildren stayed at this house for 6 days. We had the best time!!! Easy access to the private beach area, beautiful house and everything was perfect of us!!! We had an amazing time and would definitely stay there again. Communication was great, everything was laid out clearly and the house is just a perfect place for the eight of us!!! Did not want to leave!!! Memorable times!!!

Comfortable place to enjoy the beach

Overall we had a nice stay. The house layout is great for multiple couples and kids. Warm water in the outdoor shower a plus. The wrap around deck and crows nest for ocean views are very nice. Kure beach is lovely and very close walk. Though the HOA access has lots of steps so if you aren’t good with stairs or have a wagon full of beach stuff it’s not ideal. There are only 6 outside dining chairs and front rocking chairs, though the house sleeps 8. Some areas of the house are updated, some need a little tlc. Upstairs carpet is coming up. The kitchen was missing some key things or some of the small appliances could use replacement (toaster, blender, measuring cups). The grill also has some serious age on it, was left with very little gas and lacks some essential grill tools. It didn’t have any extra touches that you look for for a 4/5 star review.

Hi Jason. Thanks for the feedback. We replaced the toaster, blender, grilling tools and grill this weekend - per your suggestion. We refinished the main floor over the off season this past year and were planning to do the upstairs as well, but ran out of time due to COVID. That is something that will be completed over the off season this year. Hope you will come to stay again and let us know what you think of the renovations. Thanks again for the feedback.

This house was beautiful, very clean, and conveniently located in a neighborhood with private beach access right across the street. There was plenty of room for our family. The kitchen and laundry had everything we needed. There were bikes, toys and other items for beach days available in the garage. The local cohost was very accessible and made it easy to find local favorite spots for food and fun. We would definitely go back!

Great location, comfortable, spacious home. Everything was perfect. Very large beach area that is not crowded at all, but close to the excitement if you choose. (Or your kids choose). Great location in a fantastic home!

We loved being so close to the beach in a home that was spacious and had all we needed for our family. Kitchen was fully stocked for all of our cooking needs. The outdoor shower was convenient and located in a perfect spot. Would love to stay at this home in the future.
