Newer built cottage-short walk to beach

Welcome to Uncorked cottage! This newly built cottage (built 4 years ago) is tucked away on a quiet stone drive, among birds and trees, and an easy 5 minute walk to public beach (Mckinley). Brand new build with open concept living. First floor is kitchen, dining, living room, bathroom, washer and drier. Open concept with concrete floors, barn doors, and reclaimed barn wood beam. Second floor hard wood, high ceilings, 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen), bunk room that sleeps 4, and full bath.

The kitchen is spacious with great counter top workspace, huge granite island that seats 4, stainless steel appliances, and fully stocked (microwave, dishwasher, oven, gas cook top and coffeemaker w/drip or pod).

Family room has 55" ROKU HDTV

Large screened in porch, outdoor BBQ, firepit and outdoor shower.

Linens, towels, and beach towels provided.

6 beach chairs, beach umbrella, and wagon provided.

2 Sonos speakers.

Weekly rental (Sunday to Sunday preferred-cleaning service is great but doesn't work on Saturdays) during summer months (May 29 to September 11)

No pets allowed!

This was our 4th stay at Uncorked Cottage! I can’t say enough about Shelia & John’s place! It is just perfect. They have thought of everything to make this such a comfortable home and supply everything you need. It’s our happy place for sure and we will be back!

Excellent house! Very nice area with a restaurant, brewery, donut shop, and gelato within walking distance. And the walk to the beach is very easy. The beach never had more than 8-10 families on it and it was amazing. Would definitely go there again! Sheila was a great host and quick to answer any questions.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The location was excellent, with a short and easy walk to the beach, which we enjoyed even in the chilly weather. The home itself was very well-equipped with everything we needed, and the amenities made our stay comfortable and convenient. The owner was responsive and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. It’s also ideally situated with a relatively easy drive from Notre Dame, which was a great bonus for us. We would absolutely stay here again—especially in the summer to fully enjoy everything the area has to offer!

Mothers Day Retreat

A wonderful, quiet, clean and full equipped cottage just 1 1/2 hours away from Chicago. We love that it is clean, fully equipped and very spacious for our family of 4. The house can sleep 8 ppl comfortably, though. Sheila, the owner, is easy to reach and quick to respond to your questions. The home/cottage is a 5 minute walk to McKinley Beach as well as a cute bakery/coffee shop, ice cream shop and restaurant.

Our family gives this rental 5 stars all around. The extra touches provided here are simply the best—nice beach chairs, towels, comfy beds, an amazing kitchen… we could go on, but you get the idea. Owners were super responsive and answered all of our questions. Great location with just a short walk to the beach. We have vacationed in this area for several years. Will definitely be looking to stay here again.

We loved our stay at the uncorked cottage. It was the perfect size for our family. Short walk to a nice beach. Lots of great restaurants in the area. The house is very nicely finished.

Amazing stay

I can't say how much we enjoyed our trip. I was very impressed at how well stocked the place was. The proximity to the beach was an added bonus, we were able to go a couple times despite it being September. It's also a great location, near restaurant, hiking and nearby towns such as New Buffalo and Threw Oaks.

Lovely Cottage

Outstanding in every way

We absolutely loved our stay at this outstanding cottage. My family and I have stayed at several locations throughout Southwest Michigan. We all agree, This is the best one we’ve stayed at. It is extremely clean, a great location and has just about everything you could ever imagine in a great rental. We highly recommend this place.

Cozy, Clean, and Charming

We loved our stay here! It was stocked with tons of books, games, kitchen equipment, beach stuff…nothing was overlooked. It was clean, so comfortable and cozy, and the screened-in front porch was our favorite area. We are already talking about returning next year.

Pure Happiness!

Exceptional Beach Cottage

This was our second stay in this beach cottage. This trip was as wonderful as the first. The cottage is well supplied and has everything you might want or need. It's newly renovated and exceptionally clean. 100% recommend.

Can’t say enough great things.

Uncorked was perfect. The quality of the home, the location, the comfort, the cleanliness, the amenities, and don’t forget the lighting - all were beyond expectations! We had a great stay and that included all of our time in Uncorked.
