Owls Nest Beach House. A large private sandy beach is just a few steps away. The sandy beach is perfect for long walks, swimming, playing in the waves, or just relaxing with your favorite beverage. Enjoy your evening sitting by a beach fire.
The Owls Nest has 4 bedrooms with elevated ceilings and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. The small guest house acts as a second master bed room/living room and has its own bathroom. The Owls Nest has a large open floor plan with a wood burning fire place and elevated ceilings. This beach house is perfect for a family vacation or a quiet romantic getaway.
The kitchen is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs and has a breakfast bar.
The screened in porch is perfect for outside breakfast, lunch, or dinner meals.
Gracon high chair, and Joovy Room2 travel bed are included.
There is plenty of on-site parking.
New Buffalo and Union Pier are just 2 miles away with restaurants, taverns and grocery stores.
It is just a short walk to Whistle Stop convenience store and Red Arrow Road House Tavern.
The Galien River access is just 2 miles away. This Galien river is a 30.0-mile-long river that begins at the outlet of Dayton Lake and flows into Lake Michigan at New Buffalo. The river is perfect for Kayaking or Canoeing.

The house is very clean and in an amazing location! We stayed here twice. The house is a tad small for more than one family - there is a guest house with extra beds but you do need to walk outside to get to it.

This was our third or fourth stay at the Owl's Nest. The house suits our needs very well. The kitchen is well appointed. There are many spaces to gather and chill. The screened porch is especially appreciated. The location is ideal. The shed full of toys and gear for the beach adds to the fun and alleviates the need to transport such things.In Union Pier, we frequent:Whistle Stop Grocery/Coffee ShopTimothy's RestaurantFarmer's market on Saturdays and SundaysMy shoulders relaxed just writing about the place.

Great location! We loved the open space and the sun porch. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. This was perfect for our family.

Amazing location. The supplies left for a fun beach experience were much appreciated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We would love to return.

Such a lovely place to stay for a Michigan beach vacation! This is our second time staying here as a family and we just love it. Very close walk to the beach, Red Arrow Roadhouse, Coffee shop. Ample space for sleeping and lounging and lots of beach equipment to use. Great for families but would also be nice for couples/friends vacation. We are looking forward to staying again!

This was our third year staying at this property and we hope to return. The location is superb -- a short walk to the beach and an easy drive to excellent restaurants. The dedicated bike path along Hwy 12 provides safe biking for a respectable distance.

Another great stay
This is our third summer staying at the Owls Nest. The layout is great, the location to the beach is a short walk and the owners are great with communication. Booking for next year already!

Wonderful stay!
We had a great 2.5 day stay at Owls Nest with family. The house was clean, fully stocked with everything you could need or want and in a prime location, just a block to the beach. The beach was beautiful. Soft sand, clear blue water and private.
We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return next year!

Perfectly Located and Well Stocked Beach Cabin
The owners have thought of everything at this cozy little beach cabin - extra blankets, beach towels, oodles of beach toys, beach chairs, movies, games, magazines, grilling equipment. It was a lovely cabin - the children especially enjoyed hanging out on the huge window seats in the sunshine and walking the short block down to the beach. Great stay!

Perfect family getaway
The house was perfect for our family and just a block away from the beach. It was clean and much bigger than I thought it would be. The teenagers enjoyed having their own space in the bunkhouse. We’ve already booked it again for next summer!

Beautiful Home
The host went above and beyond, he had a delivery company bring out a new highchair and crib. The home is beautiful, the location is great. We had an amazing time and look forward to returning.

Very close to a fantastic Private Beach. Even with Lake Michigan being very high the beach is still in great shape. The property has the main house with three bed rooms and two bathrooms. It also has a guest house with a 3/4 bath inside and an outside shower.
