Our basement is a remodeled guest suite, with its private entrance. At the bottom of the entrance you'll find a few umbrella's hanging on the coat rack for your use. This place has excellent walkability to great eats, bars and boutique shops. The nearby MAX makes Portland easy & accessible, no car needed. Popular nearby destinations are Convention Center and Moda Center. We are a 10 min drive from downtown (15 min MAX ride). You'll love that our location is central. Our place is good for couples, friends, business travelers & families. (Note: lower ceilings. Not recommended for people taller than 6'4).

The property was clean, well maintained and stocked with anything we could need as far as kitchenware and even a supply of DVDs. The hosts are kind and communicative and the location is within a mile of the convention center and Broadway. We have bookmarked this location for future stays!

Cute little place to stay! A few things weren't working properly and some items weren't as clean as expected but the host was very nice and responsive. The bathroom/laundry amenities were great and the kitchen had a rolling pin! Nice location too.

Is close to shops, restaurants, concert venues. Clean, full kitchen if needed two separate bedrooms. Very nice host. We would stay here again.

This was a very clean, nice place. We only had a few complaints. If anyone is going to stay in the summer months, it does not have air conditioning. It gets very stuffy and warm even with the fans that are provided. The parking is also a problem. It is just a shame that there is not a spot in the driveway. The last complaint would be not having hand rails on the cement steps outside. With the steps being as high as they are rails would have been helpful. We did, however, appreciate that the fans were turned on before we entered. We also appreciated how quickly the host responded to any changes or questions. Overall we would recommend this property to someone who asked, just be warned about the heat during the summer. Thank you.

The house was perfect for what we needed! Very comfortable and clean. Very cozy. The hosts were quick to get back to us when we had a question and were kind and helpful. We were close to a neat area and walked to a coffee shop in the morning for a cup. Thank you, Omar and Amanda for a great stay!

For our need the property was in a good location within the city. The kitchen appliance were new and all worked well and the unit , while a basement, was well lighted. Unit had enough space for two of us. We arrived slightly early and the owner was accommodating.The reason I rated it overall as just ok had much to do with the following: parking, yes it was available on the street but not dedicated to the unit. This required finding a new spot somewhere on the street each time you used your car... Not ideal. The unit did not have AC but instead had multiple fans. That may work most of the year but on our Sept visit the unit was warm and we could not get it to a good temp for us, As mentioned above the kitchen appliance and counter area were nice but the smaller kitchen table and chairs, which were not comfortable, need to be reconsidered. Last and just a personal bias, the TV connection was more difficult to set up and use then most (most use roku) we have encountered on our many VRBO stays. I believe that most of the things that caused us "issues" can easily be fixed or eliminated if owner wished making this a much better stay.Thank you.

Really comfortable, well equipped apartment! Super central location with easy access by public transport, although street parking is a little tricky (although totally typical for inner PDX neighborhoods). We’d definitely stay again!

Our host was very efficient and accommodating. The space was cozy, inviting, and well-stocked. Parking was a little dicey, but at no fault of the host; we were able to find nearby parking for the duration of our stay. I highly recommend this space for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay!

Stay was great. Very clean and very well appointed. Nice quiet neighborhood and very little to no noise in the apartment. Comfy bed with extra linens and plenty of space for cooking or anything you could want. Bathroom was very clean and nice hot shower. Overall super pleased and would happily stay again.

Very clean and had utensils for us in the kitchen. Great communication with owners along with them being very friendly and accommodating. Close to downtown bars and located in a safe area.

Omar and Amanda met and fell in love in the beautiful City of Roses! They married in 2014 and planted roots in North East Portland. After purchasing their home in 2015, they liked the idea of creating a special place in their basement to host people. Omar is a real estate agent. Amanda is a special education teacher. They enjoy spending time with their two young sons, trying different ethnic food, meeting people from other cultures, and playing tennis.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This is a great, quaint and convenient place to stay as a home away from home. Public transportation is nearby. When hopping on the MAX, the Convention Center, Moda Center, downtown Portland are moments away. The walkability is excellent allowing you quick and easy access to wonderful eateries, bars, cafes, and boutique shops. We don't want to leave out our nearby ice rink in the Lloyd Center. If you are one who likes day trips, we are close to the freeway permitting a quick come and go as you please!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We have always loved our neighborhood (Sullivan's Gulch). NE Broadway has a plethora of things to do, but it isn't overcrowded with limited parking spots. The people are not pretentious, but very warm and very friendly. There is always something to do within walking distance. We are so thankful for this place!
