The Happy Talk Lounge, Wiki Pizza and the fitness center are closed as of 9/7/26 until further notice.

Hanalei Bay Resort overlooks the white sands of Hanalei Bay from a tropical, lush 28 acres in Princeville. Beautiful ocean and Bali Hai views are everywhere on this property. With four new artificial turf and two new hard courts as well as 6 new pickleball courts added to this world ranked tennis resort, everyone is sure to find their groove. Beach access is provided down a long, fair grade, paved path, and the resort staff offer convenient golf cart rides to the beach below.

Re-roofed in 2025, this lovely studio offers garden and mountain views. Cooling AC, a restful memory king bed and queen sleeper sofa, remodeled bath, quiet, and private. Conveniently located close to the world famous Hanalei Bay Resort pool, tennis courts and hot tub, and just steps from the parking area. So great you will never want to leave!

The county of Kauai does not permit this studio to have a kitchen. There is only a bar fridge, coffee maker, blender and electric tea kettle.

The property is a good value if you just need a place to stay for a night or two.The room is quite small and dated, but the bed is comfortable and it felt clean.The resort grounds are solid and the Happy Talk restaurant is great.

Loved our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Hanalei bay resort , it’s was a lovely property with many amenities. We would happily stay again. We loved the pool and the beach nearby. Also the two restaurants on the property and the coffee shop we’re highly used.

HBR Stay was beautiful! We couldn’t ask for more while staying in Hanalei. It was easy access to Ha’ena State Park and the nearby stores were convenient for easy dinners. We loved everything about this stay. Host was easily responsive to any issues and would recommend for anyone staying in Kauai

Loved the place! Super easy to check in. Valet parking was free, I wished I knew that earlier since it's limited parking. The place is easy to get to, the beach is a beautiful spot with a full restaurant/bar right there. It's a really nice place with AC, great amenities, and the view of the flora was nice. It felt tucked away, and was very private.

Amenities at the resort were excellent - tennis courts, pool and private beach. Resort is located in a beautiful part of Princeville, with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains.

For our second trip to Kauai, we knew we wanted to stay in the Princeville/Hanalei area. The Hanalei Bay Resort was the perfect place for us and our one year-old! Great access to coffee, shops, and groceries. The pool at the resort is divine! We loved hanging out on our lanai, especially birdwatching in the jungle as we enjoyed meals together as a family! The walk down to the beach is super doable for an active family like us, but the shuttles were also super convenient! We did not end up spending much time at the hideaways beach due to brown water advisory with a heavy rainfall. Overall, we loved our stay at the Hanalei Bay resort and can’t wait to come back!

We really loved the stay. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great night rest after long days of adventure. The location was perfect and absolutely beautiful in all ways. Hospitality was great too. Mahalo!

peaceful condo and beautiful resort

It was perfect for my adult daughter and I (she’s very nice to share a bed with Mom). Great base camp- our rental car gave us the flexibility to stay in beautiful Princeville and explore the rest of the island. Pool here is amazing and easy beach access

Really nice room on a beautiful property overlooking the Bay. Loved the high ceilings which made the space feel large. Good size for a couple.

We had a wonderful stay at Hanalei Bay Resort! The property is absolutely beautiful and the host was great. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Nice Stay

We really enjoyed our stay! Hanalei Bay is beautiful and the unit was well stocked. We enjoyed the tennis rackets, cooler, boogie boards and other amenities that we were provided. Enjoy your visit!
