Located on the ground floor, it is surrounded by grass and lush island foliage. The condo accommodates four people comfortably. The unit is tastefully decorated with island fabrics and decor, including large screen cable TV in the living room and flat screen TV in master bedroom, large washer-dryer and many personal touches for your comfort and enjoyment. WiFi is included.
The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with all the small appliances needed for your stay and many pantry items. Towels, linens, beach towels and chairs, cooler and beach umbrella are included... The condo is cooled by tropical breezes, new fans, and a new A/C unit for your added comfort.

Set among seventeen acres of beautifully maintained grounds, Wailea's Ekolu Village is located on the 'dry side' of Maui, close to beautiful stretches of white sand beaches, superb for swimming, snorkeling, and water sports. Guests can enjoy magnificent sunsets while watching whales migrate December through March. Ekolu has two swimming pools available. The closest one to the condo is a convenient sixty second walk.

Great walk out condo

Great condo for our 26 day stay in Wailea! Very convenient location with awesome patio! Our only struggle was opening the lock box upon arrival, otherwise we had a stress free stay! It is wheelchair accessible (we brought our mom who is in a wheelchair), but just a caution that the cement pathway is quite sloped (coming from the parking lot), so you need to be quite strong to push the wheelchair up! Very much appreciated the communication from the property manager and her arranging for a shower chair for my mom! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a ground floor unit in Wailea!

Amazing get away

The unit is well equipped for 4 adults and has wonderful views of the ocean. It was a quick walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. We especially enjoyed the patio where we were able to watch the whales. Colleen was a great host and very responsive to all of our inquiries. I would definitley recommend this unit to family and friends. Overall, it was an amazing get away!

40th birthday celebration for our don

My husband and I booked this condo so we could take our son for his 40th birthday. It was perfect! Spacious, clean, well appointed. Great location with lovely view of ocean ! Colleen was very helpful and attentive to a few questions that came up.

Ekolu is perfect location

We have stayed at Ekolu many times and love the proximity to beautiful beaches, many fabulous places to eat and views. Being here in January means seeing whales frolicking any time you take the opportunity to enjoy the view. Hosts were great to work with.

Perfect for us!

Colleen is wonderful to work with and very prompt in replying. The kitchen was very well stocked both with dishes/pans and things like spices and ziplocs. Which was great because we cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner while we were here. We love staying in Wailea. It's a perfect location.

Wailea Ekolu

It’s nice to be able to spread out in the condo and for the kids to have their own bathroom! The location is perfect - within walking distance to coffee in Wailea Village and The Shops at Wailea. Great view of the ocean from the lanai and a short walk to the pool. Air conditioning was a plus after long days golfing or at the beach. The condo is a little dated but I would take this property over a hotel room any day. Check-in was easy and Colleen was responsive and a great communicator. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

Wailea ekolu wonderful

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Lovely comfortable and welcoming. Whether relaxing on lanai watching sunset, making a meal in the clean well equipped kitchen, two minute walk to pool, easy drive to beaches, beach equipment, Yahtzee (we like games). First floor end unit with nice view and felt private. wonderful communication from Colleen—-highly recommend.

The property was beautiful, and the condo itself is fantastic! It was stocked with everything you would need that you wouldn’t want to bring on a plane for a Hawaiian vacation. There was great communication between us and the host. There were even fresh flower arrangements in the common area and bedrooms. It was everything you could hope for in a vacation rental.

Home away from home

The unit is furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Wailea. Close proximity to restaurants, grocery, retail, good walking, and most importantly the best beaches. Colleen is attentive and provides welcoming touches.

Great condo in excellent location

We had an amazing stay at Wailea Ekolu 807. Clean, well equipped, and in a stellar location. I was there with friends and teens - there was plenty of space both in and outside and all the amenities to take to the beach. This is within walking distance of the Wailea Mall, restaurants and beaches! We had a fantastic stay!

Paradise in Hawaii

The location had a great view of the ocean, and being on the ground floor meant that the deck seemed larger and less confined as it expanded into the grassy area. It was a quiet area, and easy to get to the shops or the village. You could walk to the beach but we usually drove as we had umbrellas, chairs, etc. The beach is about a 15 minute walk away. The landlord's agent was prompt to respond to anything. The beds were super comfortable. The bathrooms were a bit dated but really, who cares. It was a great stay.

A little slice of paradise

This condo was the perfect space for my teens and I for our much needed getaway to Paradise - conveniently located near beaches, but away from the crowds. Nice and quiet setting with gorgeous views. My teens loved that the swimming pool was just steps away from the condo. Communication with the owner was great, very responsive. It was extremely nice to have a fully stocked kitchen to make meals, and a full size washer & dryers for our week long stay. Morning coffee & breakfast as well as evening sunset cocktails on the lanai was stunning and relaxing - just what was needed. We will be back.

Amazing Girlfriends Getaway!!

This was my 7th time vacationing in Maui, always staying in the Wailea area but, my 1st time in Connie’s beautiful condo. The location is ideal and upon entering the condo the view is breathtaking!!! Immaculately clean and extremely well stocked. From the 4 beach chairs, extra umbrellas and boogie boards this condo has everything a family could want. The luxury of being able to walk to the beach and coffee each morning was wonderful. Bonus info- there is a Farmer’s Market on Tuesday’s in the plaza directly below the condos. It has everything from amazing cookies to fresh pressed juices from local businesses. And even a bit of jewelry and gifts to explore. Connie was extremely prompt in our inquires and even treated us to beautiful fresh flowers to welcome us. We are already planning our trip to Maui next year and will definitely be staying here again! Perfect place in paradise!

What can I say about our stay other than it was the best one so far. My wife and I have come to Maui four times now and this time we brought our kids (16 and 13). We normally stay at the Wailea Beach Marriott but needed a little more room to spread out with our kids. The place was great, so much room, beautiful views of Wailea Beach and Lana’i from the lanai. Every morning we walked for coffee and enjoyed beautiful plumeria trees. It was an easy walk to the beach and we loved every minute of our stay. Thank you Colleen for allowing us to enjoy Maui with our kids in this way, your place was home for us for the last 10 days and we truly felt at home. BTW those who complain about this condo not having air conditioning, the afternoon trade winds cool the place down in seconds so open the louvers and turn on the fans and the place is cool in minutes. Sleeping at night with the louvers open made for a wonderfully comfortable evening.

Perfect Can’t ask for more

Beautiful, well kept and complete property rental. The host had compete beach gear, cooking ware, board games TV which made it feel like a home away from home. Well kept and very clean and super communicative and sweet host. Located in a beautiful town and is 20 mins away from every other city. The beach gear and beach umbrella and snorkels saved us money and provided us activities on our beach days. She has a washer and dryer. Also condiment fridge is stocked as well as spices so I was able to cook dinner every night while we enjoyed local food for lunch and dinner. If I could stay longer and when we visit Maui I will rebook this home. I stayed with my family of five which included an infant and two boys. Overall a Perfect in all aspects and cant ask for more.

Amazing spot in paradise

We have stayed in dozens of rental properties all over the country and we all agree that this one is HANDS DOWN the nicest one yet. It’s completely stocked with every kitchen trinket imaginable. The beach toys/accessories were plentiful. The VIEW from the back lanai was breathtaking. It was clean, had fresh tropical flowers placed in every room Holme our arrival, and a handwritten note waiting for us. Seriously couldn’t ask for more. It’s a gem and we have already shared this exact VRBO with at least 5 friends who all intend to come to Maui in the months ahead. We would absolutely stay here again and hope we get a chance to again soon. Colleen was so easy to chat with in advance and while there. Everything was perfect. This place is a must!

When Berliners (from German Capitol City) praise, they say: "There's nothing to complain about!" :-)

The accommodation of Collen is very nicely located in a quiet, well-kept complex. Parking is available directly in front of the door. The large apartment is located at ground level and can be reached without stairs. It offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. 2 spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, a large living room with large open kitchen and a magnificent terrace overlooking the sea. The posted video gives an excellent impression of the accommodation. We were not disappointed! In addition, snorkeling equipment and other beach utensils were available for use. Barbecuing on your own terrace is unfortunately not allowed although you could assume it based on the picture with the barbecue on the terrace. But there are several well-kept barbecue areas on the complex, as well as pools. A pool is very close to the property but was in repair during our stay. But in the sea it is much nicer anyway ;-) We were 4 people and felt at home in Collen's apartment. No wonder, then, that it was really difficult for us to say goodbye in the end. Since everything went so perfectly and smoothly, there was hardly any need to get in touch with Collen and if it did happen, the communication via FeWo-direkt was fast and uncomplicated. The 4 of us would also like to thank you once again for an unforgettable time. Thx!!! :-)

I am the Property Manager for owners, Sharon and John Stephens. My name is Colleen Mitsuya. I am island-born, originally from Honolulu. I've been here for 42 years, Maui is my home now, Maui No Ka Oi! My favorite things to do are ballroom dancing and line dancing and I love arranging flowers, especially for all our guests to welcome them to our condo and to Maui.

Sharon and John fell in love with Wailea on a trip to Maui in 1979. The area was just being developed. In 1984 they purchased their Ekolu unit and over the years have traveled countless times from Los Angeles to Wailea with their daughter Jennifer. Time has flown by and now their family trips include their daughter, son-in-law, and beautiful granddaughter who loves to snorkel, paddle board and is learning to surf.

Wailea is close to many unique sightseeing spots if you want adventure and a little action but when you return life is quiet and non touristy. It's a golfers paradise! A first rate tennis facility is right there and well as every water sport.

The weather is fabulous! Since Wailea is on the dry side of the island, it can be raining in Kapalua and sunny in Wailea.
