Creekside Getaway, a spacious, Elegant Catskill Mountain retreat

Creekside Getaway is the lower, ground level of an historic 1865 Barn that has been totally transformed into a plush and luxurious 2 bedroom dwelling with taste. A gorgeous mountain stream runs through the property and merges with the East Branch of the Delaware River across the street.
Master Bedroom with King, second bedroom with queen. Large Living/dining/kitchen. Very large Bathroom with large tiled shower/sliding glass doors. Washer/Dryer. Open floor plan.
Kitchen is fully appointed with new stainless appliances and dishwasher. Kitchen has extra countertop for dining or eat at the table. Large Flat screen televisions in Living room and Master Bedroom. Comfortable leather furniture in living room-Very large spacious deck with grill and plenty of seating and dining space. Inflatable twin bed available for additional guest.
Creekside has outdoor security camera with view of driveway for safety.
*For large groups- we own 3 other rentals nearby: The Barn Loft #2536651 is upper level. Meadowlark #1974387 is a charming cottage on adjacent property.

Wonderful gateway

We had a wonderful time at Creekside. We came for a ski holiday and both the location and accommodation were perfect. We had an issue with water supply right at the beginning but the owners very quickly responded to have it fixed. We very very pleased.

Lovely home

We stayed in this property for 5 nights and had great time there. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to make simple breakfast & dinners. The location is great and easy to get to. The owner Susan is very responsive and checked in with us couple times to make sure all is good. we will return to this property for sure.

Weekend at Creekside

This property was super clean and just as described. The Woods (hosts) were great and responded very quickly when i reached out with a question. We really enjoyed our stay and would definately revisit this property.

Great getaway

This unit was very clean and up to date. Loved the king bed. They had everything you could need. Loved the mud room for boots/ jackets. It was very well heated. Everything worked. It is below another unit. This did not bother us, and the people above us were very respectful.

Relaxing escape in the mountains

Hosts were great. Unit is clean and has everything you need. Katterskill Falls beautiful even in February and Plateville Ski mountain lots of runs very nice. The area is gorgeous and peaceful

Perfect Getaway

I would 1000% recommend this spot - it could not have been more of a perfect weekend getaway! Susan was the best host, she was so helpful and a great communicator! The house itself was so cute, clean, filled with natural light and a beautiful property overall - really hoping to visit back one day!

Great Location

The property was in a great location. We were able to snowboard at 3 different mountains close by: Plattekill, Hunter and Belleayre! The kitchen was fully equipped so you can conveniently cook a meal. And we were so pleased to be able to bring our furry family member.

Lovely little spot in the Catskills

We saw a bear in the first night hop right over the road, that was exciting! The place is well decorated, has everything you need for a little or long stay. Very clean and loved the sheets. It’s always a gamble if the beds will be comfy but they absolutely were. Highly recommend!

Very cozy apartment close to ski resorts

The Creekside apartment is exactly like described on Vrbo, very comfy, good beds, large BR and shower, very well equipped, convenient, clean. The mud room is a big plus when coming back from ski every day Ideal getaway for a long weekend, less than 20 min from Belleayre. Susan and Johnathan are very nice and responsive

Amazing house with wonderful hosts!

The house was incredibly comfortable, bright, warm and inviting. The deck was our favorite spot, very comfortable seating and great views! The town of Roxbury is incredibly charming, a couple wonderful dining options. Our hosts were communicative and quite helpful. The house was clean, rules were easy to follow. I can't wait to book this property again in the winter!

A wonderful stay with Beautiful views of the Mountains.

This beautiful apartment has everything you need to feel at home. To feel like you are on vacation, just look out the window and enjoy the mountain view, the luscious trees and listen to the relaxing water stream that runs in the premises. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Margaretsville is just a 10 minutes drive away, there you will find a supermarket, some stores and a few places to eat.

September stay

We had a great time . Loved the cabin. Timing was wrong for us to enjoy the changing of the trees. After staying as long as we wanted, we both decided to leave early. At 70 + years old .. long hikes are not in our vocabulary.

Catskills summer break

We had a 5 day break, the barn was well located with lots of options for hiking, kayaking and access to belleayre beach for more kayaking and we went up in the bubble lift for great views and more hiking! The house was very comfortable, beds were great, washer dryer was a gift! Having towels for swimming was very handy. Communication with Susan was great and she was very responsive, we had no issues at all!

Lovely home in a perfect location

My adult daughter and I stayed five nights at Creekside and enjoyed both the home and the location. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is large with a walk-in shower. There is a large television in the livingroom but we were too busy to watch it. We did quite a bit of cooking and enjoyed the kitchen, it is well laid out and bright. We had no problems and had no need to contact our hosts. Margaretville is 13 miles away, an artists enclave, presents studios, shops and restaurants and a nice grocery store. Don’t miss Barbara Alyn’s clothing store. Barbara is a fabric artist and her shop is filled with wearable art. Also near by are maple shops, a hard cider garden and on Saturdays the Pakatan Farmer’s Market which is filled with stalls of fresh fruit and vegetables, artisans, baked goods and smoked meats. Kaaterskill Falls is nearby, it is a beautiful waterfall well worth the stop. In the vicinity is the town named for Washington Irving’s story Sleepy Hollow, Ulster Park, NY boasts Headless Horseman Hayrides in the fall. Woodstock is an hour away, a picturesque town of lovely Victorian homes. While we were there the roads to Hyde Park were washed out by floods so instead we walked the road to Susan’s Pleasant Pheasant Farm. It’s a beautiful walk lined with wild flowers. We would definitely stay here again.
