The Catskills Red Barn-near Belleayre

The Catskills Red Barn delivers a unique vacation experience year round. It's located next to Belleayre Mtn. Skiers and Riders also enjoy easy access to Hunter, Windham and Plattekill.

A variety of restaurants, supermarkets, and specialty shops are all nearby. Bargain hunters love the rural shopping. There's even a local distillery as well as brewery !

The interior features a mix of antiques, stained glass, and cleverly handcrafted lighting fixtures and furniture. The kitchen, well equipped and furnished for efficiency, meets a gourmet chef's skills. A vast library of board games, Books & CD's offers ''sunshine' on a rainy day. The space is an open design, yet cozy and intimate at the same time. It is best enjoyed by guests who enjoy each other’s company and want to spend time together. Please take note of the open stairs as well as the existence of heights without railings. There is a child gate available for the bottom of the stairs available on request.

The creature comforts and artfully curated design makes it easy to follow the number one house rule, ENJOY. The property's Welcome Book and host’s quick response to questions ensure that guests can feel right at home on arrival.

Another great stay at the Red Barn. Owner is very accommodating and knowledgeable on the area and makes herself available with out being intrusive. A pleasure to chat with her if you get the chance!

What a lovely week at the red barn! Every aspect of the home and the location are ideal for total relaxation. If you need to reset in nature and also appreciate art, antiques and architecture then the aesthetics make this the perfect place to stay. It’s like living in an art gallery and besides being comfortable, it’s truly a feast for the eyes. Waking up on the second floor with a view to the outdoors and the amazing ceiling was a treat. The living and dining areas are spacious and inviting. We cooked at the red barn a few times and the kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need. Truly a home away from home.Blythe is so kind and communicative and made the entire stay a breeze. She even recommended a local festival to us and we ended up having a great time that day. The home is close restaurants, shops, hiking and cute towns. A perfect stay in the Catskills to finish summer. Thank you, Blythe!

Great place great location

Had a wonderful weekend with the dogs, hiking trails right from the property, the barn was great, there was a fall festival going on as well. We will be staying here again in the future!

The red barn was a very enjoyable, quaint, rustic, and peaceful place to stay. The owner was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay, the local area and the well appointed kitchen.

Amazing property, the photos don't do it justice. Every detail is a feast for the eyes and Blythe puts a lot of pride and personality into every corner. On top of that, great communication and accommodation, and centrally located to a lot of great hikes and Woodstock.

The little red cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. Close to area attractions, but secluded and quiet too. We even had a bear stroll through our yard! Owner super-responsive to any question or concern. Will definitely stay again!

Red Barn Rocks

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely weekend at the Red Barn with our dogs. Everything was wonderful- especially the yard and walking trails for the dogs. Great restaurants and charming towns nearby and Blythe was very helpful with recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again!

One of my photo assignments brought me to the Catskill Mountains. The map showed opportunities for skiing so I packed ski gear alongside my cameras.

It became obvious that my own mountain home would create perfect offset to the pressures of New York City life.
Fortunately I found a property with privacy and easy access. Plus, it's near everything which makes the Catskills so special.

My creative spirit inspired inventive enhancments to the original
structures. Thus, The Catskills Red Barn became functional art.
Visitors remark that they're living within a curated gallery.

Now I'm rewarded to welcome and share with guests what has meant so much to me and my family.

Mother Nature provides the quietude and environmental wonders while I take responsability for the stylistic creature comforts.
