Great place to stay for our anniversary weekend! Quiet, yet close enough to all the things we wanted to do. Clean and great view of the lake and easy access to the water! Would defintely stay here again.

Amazing place to stay! I loved the little beach! It was very clean and had nice shampoo, soap, etc.! We will definitely be back and recommend to others! We met the owners who live next door and they were wonderful!

I left a note in the property- it was my fault for not realizing there wasn’t a full kitchen and the stairs were challenging for my partner with Parkinson’s, SS well as the very tall bed frame

Nice and Quiet by the Lake!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was peaceful and clean and just what we expected. We loved the lake view as well as the little beach to call our own. The check-in and check-out instructions were nice and simple and the place had everything we needed for our two day getaway.

Beautiful View

Description of the property was accurate. Was very clean and comfortable. The view and privacy of the location was amazing. I plan to book all future trips up north at this property.

It was exactly what was presented. It was only a short ride to town. The towels, bedding and robes were lovely and soft and I enjoyed the care taken to choose quality soap and shampoo. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Quiet. Good price point for area.

Close to downtown. Enjoyed area bars, food, hiking trails, and took a cruise. Will return.

Incredibly clean & uncluttered!!! A beautiful & welcoming location that was safe & comfortable. Unlike so many other rentals this place had NO air fresheners & NO odors!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Property was clean, beautiful view of the lake and very peaceful. Bathrobes were a nice touch, bed was comfortable & there were plenty of pillows and towels. Loved the deck and grill, while eating late dinner in the deck we saw a bald eagle fly in to roost. Saw bald eagles other days flying around as well. Private beach has the most beautiful view of the sunrise. Although we didn't use it the fire pit was very nice & seating was provided. Shower is tiny and it's a small hotel size fridge but it worked for us. I was leary when we turned into Merchent Rd and saw it was a dirt road, but it was a flat and smooth dirt road, better than almost all of the streets in Bayfield. Also, the first property on Merchent that you come across is a little less than desirable from a visual perspective but all other properties including the one we stayed at have good curb appeal, great views and well kept yards.

The unit is small, but comfy and clean. Very nice views and right on the lake. Very quiet area. Was easy to get to all we wanted to do and see. If you are in need of internet, would suggest booking elsewhere as it did not work. Was told the owners on the same service said it was fine.

Super clean, quiet, low-key place to decompress after days stuffed with activities. We especially enjoyed the beautiful lake view and breeze. Exactly as advertised.

Very clean and convenient

This property is exactly as decribed in the posting. Very convenient location just north of downtown Bayfield with an easy drive. The place was very clean and the owners responded to our questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend staying here. Bonus is there is a shipwreck just off the shore in front of the place. We enjoyed watching all of the tourists come and look at it.

Peaceful and beautiful place for two

The property was very clean and comfortable. Perfect place for crashing at the end of a hard day of adventures and sightseeing. Don’t plan on cooking here. Just a coffeemaker and microwave, but that exactly what we prefer. 😉

Very clean & cozy place with quality linens & a very comfortable mattress. There was unexpectedly complimentary coffee & toiletries as well, giving this a “VRBO meets hotel” feel. The view of the lake from the breakfast nook and waking up to the sounds of waves lapping the shore does not disappoint. There is also a well maintained path to the beach that offers a great spot for a morning cup of coffee or wading in the lake before staring the day. The WiFi is a bit slow but it wasn’t a problem for us. This trip was about disconnecting to enjoy the sights & sounds together before my daughter heads off to college.

Such a cute and cozy property on the lake off the beaten track yet still close to Bayfield. This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to spend our getaway.
