Hi Bill, thanks for your helpful feedback. There are lighter blankets in the drawer under the bed. Sorry to hear about lack of decaf and tea. Those are normally provided but I will check with our on-site host to see what happen. Also, the timer/light is on the front at the very bottom of the sauna heater. Light goes on when you turn the timer on. We look forward to making your next visit to Bayfield even better than this one. Best, Mike

Tom and Jan did not stay in the unit; their son and his wife occupied it without our prior knowledge. We greeted them on arrival and told them directly to notify us immediately of any concerns, as we live upstairs. No issues were ever reported during their stay. The claim of damp/musty conditions is inconsistent with the property’s condition. The unit was inspected by the health department one week prior and re checked afterward by licensed medical professionals. No mold, moisture intrusion, or health hazard was found. We have maintained a 9.2 rating for over three years and have never received a complaint of this nature. The guests requested a full refund, which VRBO reviewed and denied. This sequence of events raises understandable concerns about the motivation behind the claim. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we cannot recommend this guest and would not rent to them in the future. Dr. Hendrickson
