The place was perfect. Peaceful location close to beaches and Bayfield. Easiest check in i have had from a vrbo. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful, cozy, really well-designed space. Quiet, calm and modern. We loved our stay at The Acorn. It was the perfect getaway spot with everything we needed to settle in and cozy up after easy access to hiking the day away or shopping and enjoying the restaurants of Bayfield. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier and Kristin was so on top of all communications. Wonderful experience all-around!

Enjoyed our few nights at this lovely home. So many special touches! Really enjoyed the screened in area and lighting fires and having smores around the fire pit.

Came here for a 3 night stay in September and it was perfect getaway for my husband and I. The only very minor negative is that it is a little dark in the bathroom to get ready, but that is it I still made it work. Would highly recommend staying here it's not far from Bayfield and extremely peaceful. The host also communicated very well as needed. We will definitely be back to The Acorn :)

Super cute home that is extremely well furnished. Kristen has thought of everything to make for a lovely north woods stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect Northwoods Getaway

We had a lovely time staying at The Acorn with our two pups. Close to the beach, hiking trails and very cozy accommodations! Hope to visit again and enjoy the fall colors.

Our Favorite Vacation

Everything we and our dog could have ever wanted. Perfect peace and quiet with tons of conveniences. This will be our go-to anytime we visit Bayfield County.

I can’t say enough how great this cabin is. The location is perfectly secluded. The inside is beautiful and SO comfortable. (I’m ordering the mattress they have on the main floor…it was wonderful!) Communication was super easy. I would definitely go back.

Wonderful stay

This property was perfect for my husband and I. It had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom/shower was amazing. Owner was super helpful! Highly recommend.

This place was such a gem! A private, little luxury escape in the woods. This cabin has everything you need and is extremely clean and modern. The Wood stove made it very cozy. It's easy to get to, Kristin is a fabulous host with great communication, the place is well stocked and spacious. It was a romantic get away for us, but could be a fun girls trip or family place too! We absolutely love it and want to come back in the summer too.
A beautiful winter wonderland and close to hiking, Apostle Island and Bayfield. Great location!

Love the A frame

Very cozy, clean and relaxing property. A great getaway for a few days. Lots to do and see in the area. Overall its brand new, very nice.

Kristen’s place was the relaxing getaway we didn’t know we needed. Such a well appointed cute space. Everything we needed and more. Great quality and comfort. The environment was peaceful and convenient to everything in spit of being so private. Loved our time there!

My husband and I rented this house for the Fourth of July weekend and had a wonderful stay. We brought our pet, Martin, along with us, and the home was very welcoming.The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and impressively smart. As Generation X renters, figuring out all the smart-home features was a bit of a learning experience, but it added to the uniqueness of the stay.If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the lack of tables for those who enjoy cooking and spending time outside while barbecuing or having a meal inside with another coupleOther than that, everything was top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

The Acorn is truly special. My wife and I spent our 1st anniversary there and were sad to leave. It’s beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is immaculate with really nice amenities. I can’t say enough good things about it!
