This was our 2nd year in a row staying here and it is a perfect spot for our family. The pool and hot tub add nice change from the lake. The view is great and being close to Lake Michigan is a plus. We will definitely be coming back in the future

Family Getaway

Pool was great, right across from Portage Lake and just a walk from Lake Michigan. Beautiful and fun stop for our family!

Great spot for families

This unit is a great size and location for families. We had plenty of space for our family of four and being close to Onekama as well as Manistee, Arcadia and Crystal Mountain was ideal. We’d definitely stay here again!

We have visited Portage Lake every year for the past 18 years, so we were very familiar with this condo and the location. We loved our stay! The beds were very comfortable, and the bedrooms were great size -- our 16 and 14 year old shared the twin bed room and it was great. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

This is the 2nd year we have stayed in this condo, but the 5th year at Portage Point. We love the space and location. Perfect for a family! The only thing that could make it 110% is if there were new deck chairs on the 2nd floor. :) Hoping to stay again next year.

We have visited Portage Pointe Inn a bunch of times, but this was our first time staying at the resort.The location and amenities are what made the stay perfect. Being so close to two lakes is a huge bonus.The condo was large and roomy for the 5 of us. It was clean and decorated very moderately. Overall the stay was very enjoyable. We will be back.

Resort is in need of repair. Lake view is minimal. Condo was ok but over priced. Shared balcony is with 8 other units. Pool was really nice and so was the hot tub. Proximity to Lake Michigan was really nice.

Weekend away with a family wedding

We chose to not stay in a hotel as we were traveling with my MIL; needed extra space. :-) As it was helpful to have a kitchen, living room, second bedroom/bathroom. It was very quiet and peaceful. This certainly fit what we were looking for to enjoy the weekend. And of course, it is always fabulous to be close to Lake Michigan. Everything was clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast and lunch. All of these things made for a less stressful weekend.

The Beech Lodge condo was great- roomy, clean and comfortable! I missed having outdoor space as the porch could use a cleaning and the chairs a power wash, so we felt it was unusable.

The property is charming and was very clean except some dry cereal under the couch and spider webs on the sitting porch (can't be helped). The approximation to both Portage Lake and Lake Michigan is amazing and a definite gem of a find. This resort has some construction, but nothing that bothered us. The hot tub was hot, but the jets did not work :( The pool was wonderful and has a beautiful view of Portage Lake. We had an amazing, relaxing week and met some very friendly older folks who have been coming to this resort since they were children! Love the board games and we even borrowed a puzzle from the main lobby! Wish the restaurant was open more hours, but again - this resort is slowly improving and will offer more in the future per staff. We also greatly enjoyed how close this is to the state park and Onekama. If you want a classic lake get away at a charming, family friendly place, this condo is for you!!
