This rental was beautiful inside and well stocked with items to make our stay go smoothly. The inside was very clean. The host is super to work with, very quick to respond to questions and extremely helpful.

The house was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. Well appointed! Easy to get to. Such a great base for visiting the area. If I’m ever in the area again I’d definitely stay here! Owner was super responsive. One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at!

Loved the location! It was right in the middle of great beaches, hiking trails, birding areas, and restaurants and ice cream. Everything was on the way to everything all the time.

We had such a great stay at this little spot in Arcadia. The house was cozy and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location was awesome, quiet, lots of trees, and just a short drive to Lake Michigan. We spent time at the beach, checked out some of the nearby towns, and it was the perfect home base for it all. It was super easy to check in and out, and everything went smoothly. Definitely a nice place to relax and unplug for a few days. Would happily come back again!

We had a lovely stay at the Acadia house in late August. The weather was great and the area was very quiet and peaceful. The host was very easy to contact and offered swift replies. The house was very clean. There were some musty smells coming from the basement but we steered clear, and didn't notice it most of the time in the main living areas. (Would be nice to be able to close that back utility room area to stop curious little feet from exploring...perhaps a baby gate at the top of basement steps?)Super appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the scent free soaps and shampoos. We also really appreciated the use of the washer and dryer and hypoallergenic laundry soap. Was a little disappointed to not find camp chairs for the fire pit or a hammock out on the lawn, as advertised in the listing, but the lounge chair and rockers on the back porch made up for it! Little things like charging cables in the main rooms and bedrooms and children's books/training potty/high chair were very welcomed. Lovely accessible beach within 3 minute drive. We would return!

Thanks Jessica! Glad you had a lovely stay! Appreciate the feedback. We totally wish we could close up that access to the basement! It's definitely on our list of problems to solve. We figure it's better to have access to laundry than to not. We are so open to guests reaching out and definitely could have problem solved some of the issues you note. What I will do is label things more thoroughly and make the presence of the hammock and camp chair more obvious so that people don't have to reach out! Really appreciate your feedback. A perfect Arcadia Getaway!

Our family recently stayed at this amazing home in Arcadia for our summer vacation, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! The house itself is absolutely adorable and has such a wonderful, welcoming vibe from the moment you step inside.The location is truly special—set in a serene and peaceful area that made for a relaxing and quiet retreat. We loved the super close location to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan.Inside, the home had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The washer and dryer were a huge convenience, and the super comfortable beds ensured everyone got a great night's sleep. We also appreciated the great WiFi coverage, which kept us connected.One of our favorite features was the back deck. It was the perfect spot to sit, relax, and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. We even had the joy of seeing deer running around the yard, which was so fun to see!This home is a true gem, offering a perfect blend of charm, comfort, and a beautiful natural setting. We're already looking forward to our next visit!Thank you Jennifer and Martin, your home is so lovely!

We were very impressed and pleased with this property. The appliances are all up-to-date, beds are very comfortable and the general property was very clean. We have no complaints.
