Indoor entertainment options include two 50-inch smart TVs and a theater room with a 4K HD projector screen, air hockey table, and foosball table. Ideal property for large families, friends, and couples. Minutes from hiking/world-class mountain biking trails and downtown Bellingham. Just over one hour from the Mount Baker ski area, and 30 minutes to Canada. Bring your boat to put in at Bloedel Donovan boat launch and tie up at the dock.

Beautiful property!

Our family had an unforgettable time at Ashley’s gorgeous home. It was our first time spending the holidays in a rental and we were so happy we did! Not only was the home super clean and the water views spectacular, but Ashley was super communicative and flexible throughout the entire process. We highly recommend!!

Lovely home, couple small issues. Overall recommend

Great stay overall! Really beautiful home and property. We would stay here again and recommend to friends. Host communicated well. Only small issues were that there were some sticky spills on the ground when we arrived and 2 of the beds were a bit uncomfortable. The couches however were exceptionally comfortable!

Best end of summer lake vacay!

Our groups of six adults and four teens loved our long weekend at the lake. House is perfect for gathering families - plenty of space, huge kitchen, gorgeous deck, great TV/Game room. Lake, dock and yard were excellent for long days in our bathing suits in and out of the water.

Even a retreat in winter.

We loved staying at this amazing property. We enjoyed the lake, the hot tub, the views from so many rooms and the home theater. A gorgeous home.

Winter wonderland on the lake

We spent Christmas at the lake house and it was so wonderful that we’ve already booked our return for summer. The place is beautiful and Ashley is a wonderful and communicative host!

Great start to summer in Bellingham!

This was our second stay at this property. We booked it for summer when we stayed there over Christmas. The property was great for families or friends with individual bathrooms for each room and a spectacular spot on the lake. Ashley was super communicative and responsive to any questions. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Excellent getaway with lots to do

We had a great time spending a long weekend at this house. The house itself is in a very quiet area with gorgeous views of the lake and mountains, but nearby are lots of places and things to do either in nature or in town. We went to Lake Whatcom Park and Whatcom Falls Park a few times each (both about 10-15 mins away). The main center of town is about 15 minutes away and offers lots of great food and beer options. It was quite chilly when we visited in early March but would love to come back and spend some time on the water!

Beautiful location

We stayed here for the kids' spring break. We have three teenagers and they brought a friend each. The house was plenty large enough for the 8 of us. The bonus room was where the kids spent most of their evening time. The water toys were all in very good shape and let us get on to the water to get the full experience. Would recommend.

Absolutely wonderful

This home is exactly as pictured and described. It has everything we needed for a 2-week family getaway - dock and lake, beautiful lawn on the water, hot tub, gourmet kitchen, movie room, multiple relaxation spaces, nice table where a puzzle was always in progress in the kitchen, big dining room table, 4 different AC zones and also great air flow from the outdoors, big bedrooms and multiple bathrooms, great laundry room stocked with towels and sheets, basketball hoop, and many other water sports supplies.

Family Thanksgiving Gathering

Our family all gathered at this home for the week of Thanksgiving. The property was as described in the listing. We were able to prepare our usual favorites in the kitchen and we did not have to purchase a lot of extras. The kitchen was well-appointed. The weather was uncharacteristically sunny and beautiful so the location on the lake was an added bonus. There were additional touches that we have not found in other homes that we have rented: there was hand soap in every bathroom, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper, as well as laundry and dishwasher soap. We will definitely consider staying here again next year!

Lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay at "Someday Came." The location was breathtakingly beautiful with lovely views of the lake visible from the many windows in the house. The owner clearly takes pride in keeping up the house very nicely and set clear expectations for house rules. The place is spacious with lots of room to engage as a large family. The host was responsive when we had questions. Also the beds were really comfortable. I wish we would have been there in the summer to take advantage of the awesome lake activities. We would love to come back sometime.

Perfect for Proposal Weekend

We had large group in town (not all staying at the house) to surprise my son’s fiancé for their proposal weekend. The house was a perfect place to gather our group of 15 for meals and activities! Plenty of room to spread out and so many things to do that everyone enjoyed! We kayaked, SUPd, played badminton, air hockey, foosball, watched movies, hiked nearby, and enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings! Ashley was very easy to communicate with when planning for our trip and went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed!

Absolute perfection across the board!

We rented this house to celebrate my birthday with friends/their kiddos. Ashley was incredibly responsive and accommodating, the perfect VRBO hostess. The house is even better than advertised - very stocked and we honestly just wanted to move in. We will absolutely be back, as I said in the title this house is perfection across the board. Thank you for everything Ashley - until we meet again! :)

the perfect weekend to celebrate a graduation

"Someday Came" was the perfect place for our family to spend an extended weekend together. We were in Bellingham to celebrate our daughter's WWU graduation, and the house has everything we needed and more. The view of the lake was incredible, even during stormy weather, and we enjoyed watching bald eagles fly by while sitting in the kitchen. The living room and fireplace were a favorite spot as well, so lovely. We loved the spacious kitchen and enjoyed cooking meals at home, even for our larger gang. We look forward to coming back again to enjoy a longer visit during summer weather, ( want to try those Kayaks out!) but we are so grateful for this lovely home and the memories we made here.

Beautiful lake house

This property was one that we got for friends and family to stay in for our wedding. It was absolutely stunning, and only about 20 minutes from downtown Bellingham. The house inside and out is beautiful. It was clean, bright and had great areas to hang out in. They have many many towels for guests, but they are in the towel closet if you are looking for them! And there is only one key, so if you have a big party, make sure to connect with who has the key at all times. It was peaceful and quiet as well, and we made sure to be quiet to respect our quiet neighbors as well. The host was very accommodating and we will definitely be staying here again. Just a lovely experience.

Wonderful lakeside property

We were a group of 4 couples (+ babies) and really appreciated the larger rooms that easily accommodated pack n plays and having our own bathrooms. The house is as it looks in the photos, fantastic! We were very lucky with the weather in mid October so were able to make the most of the lakeside location and all the water toys available. The house literally has everything you could want for a weekend at the lake. We basically didn’t leave the property which was ideal with the babies all on different nap schedules. Ashley was very responsive and super helpful accommodating our request for a late check out to help time our drive back to Canada with naps. Would absolutely recommend the property and we’d love to come back. Thanks Ashley!

A gem on Lake Whatcom

A beautiful house that provided a whole 4-day weekend of happiness for our family. The highlights were: 1. House is on the water. You can paddle, kayak, go for a swim or just sit on the deck and enjoy the view anytime. 2. The house is full of amenities to keep you entertained all the time. From aquatic equipment to a home theater. 3. Awesome hot tub on the deck to enjoy every evening. 4. The owners were very welcoming and responsive to all our needs. Planning to go back soon!
