The cabin was very clean and had no weird smells. We had family with us and it worked well having three separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is FULLY stocked. My grandkids enjoyed the hot tub especially since it was too chilly for swimming and rain prevented using the fire pit. Because of the rainy weather we enjoyed having board games available especially the giant checkerboard. The house is convenient to shops and restaurants but feels remote because of the trees and mountain view.

Overall great stay! There were 6 of us - 4 girls in their 20s - very comfortable! Great location and view -even had a couple bears visit. Hottub came in handy after the half marathon! Front patio could have been cleaned better; lots of animal droppings on the chairs but we were not in that area alot.

We enjoyed our stay in Townsend. The cabin layout was great for a family of six, and the location was near everything we wanted to visit. The kitchen was well-stocked compared to other rentals we’ve stayed in before. The owners were easy to communicate with and the check-in process was easy. We were disappointed that the pool isn’t free, and we had to make other plans since the price was steep for six people. The front porch was a great place for enjoying your morning coffee.

We loved EVERYTHING about our visit to Townsend and our stay at the Knotty Pine cabin. It truly felt like home away from home and made our family Spring Break very memorable!

This cabin not only met our expectations, it exceeded them!! The cabin was big enough for our family of 8. It was well stocked with everything we needed.The owners were a joy to work with and personally called to check in with us when they noticed the wifi had a glitch. 2 minutes later everything was working great!!We highly recommend Knotty Pine cabin!!

The cabin was absolutely stunning. We all loved it; every detail was very appreciated. The owner Mike was extremely welcoming and very helpful with places to go. We definitely would love to come back.

Had a great stay here with our family as we enjoyed time with our UTK student during her fall break. Convenient access to the park as well as Townsend and Maryville. Well used but very comfortable cabin. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking, coffee, etc.

Perfect Family Vacation

Great escape in the Smokies

We enjoyed all of the amenities in this beautiful home. We even made time to play a game of Scrabble and chess. The owners are very thoughtful with their accommodations.
