Clean and quiet. Heating didn’t work upon arrival but host had HVAC on the way within an hour. Tastefully decorated and everything was there to cook your own food.

The house was so clean and well cared for. Everything we needed was there which is so helpful! Communication was excellent and when we had a question, Theresa got back to us almost immediately.

We loved this cabin! Excellent hosts, they are very responsive with lots of insight about the area. The cabin is in a great community, secluded, and the community fishing pond is beautiful! The cabin is stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, and the gas grill was perfect for 4th of July hamburgers. A scenic view from the screened in porch, and comfy beds to sleep in. It was just what we needed. We will be back for another stay!

Quaint and quiet

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting family in the area. The location is quiet and secluded. This is a simple but very clean and comfortable cabin, just what we wanted.

The house was perfect for our short vacation. It was close enough to Boone and other attractions

We really enjoyed the cabin and the comfort of the beds. The couch was a bit old but enough space for our family. We wanted to be far enough out of town but accessible to nearby attractions so this place was great!

Great weekend getaway

We had a great weekend in Purlear. The cabin was very clean and simple, just what we needed. The surrounding Buck Mountain community is also very nice. Easy drive to Wilkesboro and Boone.

Was a perfect cabin for our stay during the Faith Festival. I only regret not bringing some fishing poles for the pond that is not too far away. We could see it had a lot of fish. Definitely would stay here again.
