This cozy and updated 2-bedroom, 2-bath home comfortably sleeps 6-8 guests and is just a short walk to outdoor pools. Minimum stay: 5 nights

The out side was dirty,

There was tree limbs,acorns and leaves everywhere. The outside furniture was very dirty. I swept it out just to have some comfort.

Great location with lots of amenities

We enjoyed staying here and appreciate that it was pet friendly! Great quiet golf cart friendly neighborhood close to the beach. Three pools including one indoor pool. House was well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Bring your own beach towels, and a sharp cooking knife. We also needed non-stick frying pans (which we bought at Old Time Pottery) which we will bring home.

wonderful location and home

We cook a lot so the kitchen is important, it is very well stocked with all the right things, even spices, oils etc. We love the proximity of the beach and the special parking accommodations at the beach. The neighborhood was quite and friendly. Our whole experience was wonderful

We had a great time. There was enough room for our four adults and two children. It was great having a washer and dryer to use. Our grandsons really liked riding in the golf cart. It made it convenient to get to the beach.

Perfect!

We absolutely loved everything about this property! Very clean, homey, and comfortable. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch. We appreciated the location and not as much 'traffic' as we've seen in the past, although we have never had an issue with the busier places. The owners are very accommodating and made sure our stay was exactly what we were looking for. You will not regret staying here!

Wonderful stay

House is exactly as shown! Checks all the boxes- clean, homey & beachy with comfortable beds! Owners are wonderful and very responsive! House is stocked with anything you may need! We have a new favorite house in OSV! We hope to be back next year!

Sleeping with fleas

Our place had fleas they were all over us in the morning, the owners were very responsible and reimbursed us right away. But VRBO has been terrible. We were on the phone for two hours before we got a hotel room for one night, then you guys actually sent us an email with the same flea infested house as a recommendation to stay. We called two more times only to be put on hold for another hour with no help. We had to book our own hotel for three days and we are still waiting on a reimbursement. We went home early because our vacation was ruined.

Excellent Vacation

The owners are exceptional, great communication. The house was very clean and smelled very clean when we arrived. Kitchen was stocked with cookware and there were some cleaning supplies. Having the golf cart was icing on the cake . We are already planning to rent this house for next year.

Most relaxed we've felt in a while

My family of 4 spent just under a week at this property and had a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation. The rental was exactly as advertised, we had everything we needed, it was quiet, we felt safe and at home. Highly recommended!!

Nostalgic stay

My grandparents owned this home from 1983 - 2008 so my family has many fond memories at this house. We truly appreciate the owners accommodating our stay and we look forward to hopefully returning next year!

Memorial Day Weekend

Dead bugs plus some live ones. I guess the cleaning fee didn’t cover the last times cleaning. A nice property that has been rented very hard. The great technology VRBO uses left me out standing in the rain. Everybody had their money and I was left to deal with a surly administrative office and security staff. We enjoyed the 1970’s golf cart that was governed to 10pmh? We would’ve taken more trash out but there were no bags and the trash can outside was loaded to the brim. My final VRBO as it was not a good value. Good luck.

Just what we needed

This is our 3rd or 4th time staying at this location and it’s my favorite. Everything is always very clean and ready for us when we arrive and Theresa is very accessible if I have any questions. We absolutely love the patio area. Morning or evening it’s always the perfect place to relax.

A nice place to stay!

My husband and I really love this property and we’re so excited about having access to the golf cart. It’s a great location to the beach and lots of things to do within just five minutes. The house is nicely decorated and clean. The owners have really taken time to make things extra special!

Delightful place

We only stayed 2 nights but we were VERY impressed with the cleanliness, decor, comfy beds and furniture and thoughtful items in this house. Upon check in we reached out homeowners and they were quick and pleased to help. There were items like chargers, speaker, passes, coupons and local info available for all renters. It’s the little things that make you feel welcome and they nailed it.

Mickey’s Ocean Visit

Very nice property

The location was perfect for our Bike Week trip! The overflow parking was gated and easy to access. My only complaint would be the tv in the guest room did not work. Outside of that the owners were very helpful and the house was well kept. Enjoyed the use of the golf cart.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to take an exciting leap and purchased the Blue Seahorse, sight unseen, in a neighborhood we’ve known for over 20 years. While we’re not retired yet, we've stepped away from the grind of working crazy hours to impress others. We wanted a regular getaway to relax and recharge, and we’re planning to make the Blue Seahorse our retirement home in the next decade or so.

We had been casually searching for the past 5 to 7 years, and everything just came together the summer of 2020. With life feeling so chaotic, we knew it was the right time! There were three or four properties in our final selection, so I sent my two nephews from New Jersey to South Carolina to choose from the top three. The Blue Seahorse stood out as the best mix of price, space, location, and upgrades. We have big plans for this property and look forward to getting input from our guests on what should be prioritized.

Here’s what we've completed so far: added a new patio with both living and dining areas, redecorated the dining room, living room, porch, and two bedrooms. The primary bedroom, called the Nautical Nest, sleeps two (or more if you're feeling adventurous), while the second bedroom, known as the Garden, accommodates 2-4 guests. You can enjoy meals in the Sunflower Dining Room and unwind in the Lighthouse Lanai. We've also upgraded to a new propane BBQ for outdoor cooking!
