Shrimper’s Cove was a lovely home and property. We vacationed with our family and our family pet. The home was cozy with lots of character, especially the living room/dining area. We had a great time at the beach and on the dock. When the wind was more than we could take at the beach, we would enjoy sun time on the dock. My husband loved access to the marsh using his kayak. My only recommendation would be related to the beds. The mattresses were not as comfortable as we would have liked. Overall, an excellent property!

The Location was excellent. The house needs some TLC. The small bedroom with the half-bath is in dire need of a new mattress and new pillows. VERY uncomfortable!!!Someone needs to finish painting the en-suite bedroom walls as the was a lone white brushstroke, very strange. The bedroom door veneer was cracked and peeling. The Half Bath door does not close or lock. Just little raggedy things, but we won't be back and won't recommend it.

A little disappointed

The house was old. It really needs some renevating. The rooms and bathrooms were smaller than expected. The location was great! The dock and screened porch was great!

Beautiful property

The location was great and the house was beautiful. The dishes needed rewashed and the bathroom was not cleaned. Would also have veen nice to have a dryer that worked. Check those things when you stay. I would come back knowing these things were fixed.

The house was great, the septic backed up and wouldn’t drain off, it pooled up at the bottom of the steps so we had to move some stepping stones to prevent from walking in the septic water. The yard smelled like sewage all weekend because of this problem, we tried 4 different times to call the rental office and the emergency maintenance line but couldn’t get anyone to answer so we had to just deal with it

We're glad you enjoyed the house, but we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the septic issue that arose after we had checked the home for your arrival due to power surges follow Tropical Storm Debby. We understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with this during your stay. Please know that the septic system has since been repaired. We rarely experience issues with our after-hours emergency service, but unfortunately, there were lingering problems with cell service and internet connectivity due to the recent tropical storm and tornados that hit the area shortly before your arrival.
