Great location, loved the porches! Dont forgot to bring your own sheets and towels. When we arrived all the house sheets/towels were locked up in boxes in closets. Plan for about 20 min to walk to the beach.

We have been renting pet friendly beach properties for years and finally found a place we want to rent again. This house had everything you could imagine and more. The views of the ocean and the marsh were incredible. Access to the beach was only a short walk and there were so few people it felt like you had the beach to yourself. The entire house was very clean and the hosts were very gracious and accommodating. We definitely plan to rent this home again.

We had a wonderful week. This house was perfect. Extremely well equipped and clean with every amenity. We loved the privacy and the beach was amazing with so many shells.

What an incredible place to stay! Peaceful and relaxing with amazing views. It’s a bit of a walk to Edingsville Beach but so worth it! We found whelk shells and sharks teeth, saw so many birds and met an armadillo! It was magical and would love to stay here again

Great location for a family vacation

We visited Edisto beach with our three boys. We had a great time fishing off the dock and walking on the beach. This is a nice home, and we enjoyed our time here.

This was our 4th or 5th time staying at this house, though the last time was 15 years ago. It was so nice to be back at such a special cottage, with the marsh out back and the ocean out front. We love the coziness of the cottage, which had most everything that we needed. The master bedroom is particularly special and the location is probably the best on the island. The only constructive comment would be that the living room furniture is feeling a little tired and we really miss the coziness of the screened in porch when it was set up with actual furniture, creating a great place to hang out. Also, there used to be a hammock on the deck that was perfect for reading in the trance of the marsh. Otherwise, it was wonderful to be back at this very special place again.

Kim, thank you. Yes, our living area furniture needs some attention. It is on our to-do soon list. The hammock is sometime under the house rather than out in the weather all the time. Sorry you missed it. Mike

Our favorite vacation spot

Great place and love the dock!

The dock and location of the house are wonderful- so many fabulous views. Nice cozy house. We enjoyed it so much.

The large picture windows are clean and allow maximum views. We ate most meals in because it was so beautiful. The house is spotless and very well organized with clear information from the owners. Thoughtfully designed, e.g., multiple reading lamps and all had working lightbulbs. The dock is also wonderful. We rented linens and they were new and comfortable. Great experience!
