A truly stunning view awaits at Sapphire 2701, where you can gaze at the spectacular shoreline of South Padre Island with the bay on one side and the sparkling Gulf of Mexico on the other. This gulf-front, high-rise condo is a beach-goer's dream, offering lofty ceilings, large windows at every turn, and a pair of private balconies - one overlooking the bay and the other facing the beach. Prepare meals using stainless steel appliances in the open kitchen, light the electric grill after a day spent out on the sand, and enjoy lovely on-site amenities that include two swimming pools, a hot tub, and a well-stocked game room.

This beachfront high-rise is ideally located near the southern tip of South Padre Island, with incredibly easy access from the Queen Isabella Causeway and Port Isabel. You need only head downstairs to reach South Padre's miles of golden sand, with rentals for all sorts of water sports readily available. If you head north on Padre Boulevard, you'll find some of the most popular restaurants, eateries, and bars on the island, including Ceviche Ceviche, Gabriella's, and Yummies Bistro all within one mile.

Things to Know
Upon arrival, Guests who made the reservation must present a valid ID at the front desk. They must be accompanied by only members of their immediate family. For purposes of renting during these times, “family” is defined to include only members within the first degree of consanguinity or affinity (e.g., parents, grandparents (including in-laws), and children). (Cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, or nieces are NOT considered immediate family.) No two families can share one condo. The front desk will NOT allow check-in if the renters do not meet these requirements.
GUESTS: No guests are permitted to Renters. Primary guests must be at least 25 years old year-round. Wristbands are required to be worn at all times. A resort Fee of $15/day will be charged to renters, fees are capped at $150 per 30-day period.

RULES for Spring Break and Holy Week: OCCUPANCY: The Primary Renter must be 30 years of age or older, as verified by a government-issued ID, and accompanied by only members of their immediate family. Once keys have been issued, you will NOT be able to switch, remove, and/or add any names from the sign-in sheet.

**** Please note, Texas weather brings pesky insects, and while we strive to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible, we are not able to control the elements that attract insects to the outdoor/indoor areas. All properties do utilize pest control maintenance regularly, BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.
** The host does not always guarantee stable wifi services during your stay. This may also affect television streaming services.

NO PARTY POLICY: This home maintains a strict no-party and no-spring break policy. Our local South Padre Island team monitors compliance with our rental policies and responds promptly to any complaints from neighbors. If any guests are found to violate these rental policies, it will result in eviction without a refund. If you have any questions or concerns about your compliance, please get in touch with us right away so we can ensure you have a safe and happy vacation.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Love this property and Unit

The views are amazing and the unit is very well maintained. Great dining options across the island that are all very easy to get to. The property is clean and the staff does an amazing job.

Poor Property Management - Vacasa Managment Company

When we arrived at our rental we discovered that our AC was out and it took 24 hours to get it fixed. Because Vacasa (a management company) owned the unit we rented through VRBO, we had to find another Vacasa-owned unit to rent that night. That room's AC unit was also out. It took 24 hours before the condominium could send someone over to fix our unit and the temperature reached 80 degrees at one point. Not sure why the unit wasn't checked before we arrived, but that should have never been an issue to begin with.

Wonderful

My wife and I took our daughter on a beach trip to SPI. We love staying at the Sapphire, it is the only place you should stay!! This condo was phenomenal on the 27th of the 31 floors. The views were breathtaking with balconies on both sides of the condo to enjoy. I would definitely rent this condo again.

95% great, 5% needed improvement

Overall it was a great experience. A few things would make it perfect or at least near perfect. Like a previous reviewer had stated, the sliding glass doors to the balconies were a little "tough" to open and close (and I'm a fairly strong guy). I could only imagine a little old lady trying to yank or pull that thing open. Another thing that could use improvement is the fact that the pool and gym have beginning and ending hours. Needs to be open 24 hours. Other than that, it was perfect.

Wonderful and relaxing!

My family had a great time. The condo was clean and very spacious. 2 balconies! The doors to the balconies are really hard to push open but that is not a complaint by any means. If you pick here you will not be disappointed in your decision. Enjoy your time!

Sapphire condos

Haven’t been to South Padre in years! We stayed at the Sapphire Condos and had everything we needed. The view, beach access, gym, pools and restaurants were all right there and having 7 teenagers it made everything easy to entertain. Highly recommend this property!

Excellent location and beautiful

This location was great for my family and had stunning balconies. In the am we had coffee facing the bay and in PM I had drinks facing the Gulf. We even got to see both fireworks shows one from each balcony. The building is very quiet and well kept. The only warning I would give is to be careful in parking garage. Unfortunately rental car was keyed. Make sure if you have rental car to get insurance. The property aside from vandalism is very safe and outside people are not allowed to wander in the building. The rental unit was exactly as shown in pictures and very comfortable and clean. We definitely will be booking here again when we revisit!

Great stay with family

I loved the layout of this condo! Corner unit close to the elevator and great from my boys! We felt right at home. I was there with a bridal party and they had different codos I visited and this one was my favorite! Thank you for the hospitality and the care to detail. The last morning we woke with no water to clean up and start the dishwasher and they came up right before check out to fix it. Wish we would have let the front desk know sooner. But I am keeping 5 stars! Hope to be back next year!

Beautiful condo with amazing view!

Two adults and 4 kiddos stayed in 2701, and had an amazing experience. The corner condo views of both the bay and ocean along with the strip were amazing. Plenty of room for 8 people.

Great stay!

Clean, great view with a lot of big windows (27th floor), plenty of room for family of four. Overall 5 stars. If I had one complaint it’s that the master bedroom had a queen. I’m 6’3” so a king is more comfortable for me. I’d stay here again, though!

This is an incredible property. The space alone would easily suit 8. The views are unparalleled, unless you have a helicopter. Location was perfect. Walk to pier 19, Sea Ranch or Yummies!

Great Vacation Rental
