This is our 3rd or 4th year at this very comfortable cottage and its beautiful, quiet location. The owner is just great -- friendly and helpful. The cottage is supplied with everything we needed. The space is truly rustic and very comfortable. We hope to go back next year.

Great view. Relaxing location in cabin with lots of character. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly consider stsuing again if the opportunity should arise.

We loved our stay! It was even better than we expected. Our hosts were lovely and very welcoming, location was prime and the cabin was cozy and well appointed. Kayaks down by the wharf were great; we paddled for hours and loved it. We can’t recommend this place highly enough; it was one of our best vacations ever!

Very nice quiet stay with beautiful scenery. Bed is small for 2 people and difficult to get out of quickly if needed. Excellent price on lobster located right on the property but can be difficult to connect with the guy who sells them. Very friendly and accommodating host.

Loved the view. Location is great so we could do lots of day trips. There were many travel brochures, maps, guide books, and books to read for leisure time. Many places to go eat shellfish. Kitchen supplied well. Floors are a bit wonky on one side of cottage so had to go slow in kitchen and bedroom but expected as it was in rental description. The grill is charcoal so take your own. It’s rustic so don’t expect a modern hotel experience.

This cozy little cottage was just what I was looking for. It had a charming, peaceful feel, and the sunrises were absolutely beautiful. The only thing worth mentioning is that the floor is definitely slanted, which could be an issue for some guests. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with balance concerns, but otherwise it was a lovely and relaxing place to stay.

Everything you need and nothing you don’t

We had a great stay and enjoyed all the area had to offer. We’d definitely consider staying here again and would recommend a stay at Melanee’s cottage.

We've stayed here several times. The cottage is as described, the location is terrific and the landlord is just great. We hope to be back!

This place has been wonderful for us for several years now. It's quiet, rustic certainly, clean, has everything we need. The views are spectacular and the owner is just great. We hope to be back.

Beautiful property

The property is exactly like the pictures but better. The view is amazing, location is quite and comfortable. Easy access the many towns & hiking locations. Would stay again.

Great stay!

Exactly as described, but better. Words can’t describe waking up each morning and seeing the great view and watching the activities of a small lobster harbor. Great location, comfortable bed. Everything we needed.

Small, rustic and well-equipped cabin with phenomenal view of the water

The cabin is small but well-equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for people who want to relax and enjoy the beauty of Maine. The view of the lobster boats is amazing, and it is a great place to watch the sunrise or the sunset.

Quiet cove

We had a great time in a quiet cove. The owners were friendly and answered any questions we had. It’s a quaint cabin that gives you the feel of staying on a boat. Loved it! Convenient location and beautiful.

This rustic cottage is a slice of true Maine. Lobster boats outside the window. Friendly people and lobster rolls. We would come again and again. John and Melanee are wonderful, as is the entire family.
