Great stay, convenient to App Ski

We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage, perfect for a small group. Super convenient to App Ski, well appointed and very clean. Would stay there again!

Great location to all local attractions!

Easy experience booking and checking in. We will try to rent again in the winter with it being so close to App Ski Mtn!

Great place

I rented this cabin for my husband birthday. Loved how close it was to the lodge. Super easy check in process.

Great little cabin tucked a in the hillside. Plenty of peace with wildlife all around. Chipmunks are great to watch. Close enough to Tweetsie Railroad to hear the train whistle through the trees. Definitely worth visiting. Clean updated rooms . Host had board game and pool table for entertainment.

Clean and convenient

This property was very clean and convenient to all the major attractions. The house is in a nice neighborhood in the woods. You’re surrounded with mature trees, rhododendrons, rabbits, squirrels, and beautiful birds. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Leaf peeping 2022!

Property perfect for my husband and me. The fireplace and the fire pit were put to good use! The king size bed was extremely comfortable. You’ll love this cabin!

Cute mountain getaway

This property is adorable. It’s just as described on the website. Great outdoor fire pit. Wonderful location next to the Appalachian ski area and downtown blowing rock. Nice porch. It is small but the kitchen and living room are open. We used it for a girls weekend for three people and it worked out great for us.

Perfect cozy home

This property was perfect for my family of three. It was clean and updated throughout. It was a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed hearing the train from Tweetsie over the mountain. The only suggestion I could offer is having some kind of coverage for the sliding glass door and window on the main door. I like privacy, especially when it gets dark.

The perfect cottage for a couple or family of 3-4!

This is the second time we’ve rented this property. A cozy space with everything you need for a mountain getaway - proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, and Boone, a remarkably well-appointed kitchen, outdoor spaces including fire pit and back deck for sipping coffee in the woods, and a quiet road in a small neighborhood of homes. You could walk to Appalachian Ski if that’s on your docket! When Tweetsie Railroad is open, you can hear the train whistles when you’re outside, but they stop around 10 pm and are not disturbing.

Weekend away

The Cozy Cottage was cozy. Easy to find. As I read before, the mattress was not very comfortable. Floors were not level. Kitchen was adequate. I would request that access to real time news and tv programs be available. Smart TVs are the “in” thing, but if that is what you offer, at least have one channel that gives real time news. Also, did not appreciate an envelop left asking for a tip for the housekeeper.

Cozy Cottage was Just Right

We attended a wedding at Appalachian Ski Resort and stayed in the cottage for a couple of days. Everything is brand new, updated, clean and so well put together. This was perfect for our family with an infant and 2.5 year old. The master room was plenty big to fit the bassinet for the baby and the bunk was great for our toddler. We talked about coming back for the ski season and would love to stay at this location again. 10 out of 10 hands down! Oh! And customer service was on point! Our code didn’t work when we arrived at 9 PM. With an over tired toddler and hungry infant we were so nervous about someone getting back to us. It’s wasn’t 2-3 minutes when our call was returned and we were granted access immediately.

As expected

This property was perfectly clean and comfortable. It was a wonderful location to go to Tweetsie and we had a lovely stay. The fireplace was perfect! A great mountain getaway.

Quick Getaway

This was the perfect little spot for our family to get away. We have always loved sitting around the fire enjoying each other’s company and this house had the perfect spot! The back porch had a gate to the stairs with was helpful for us with small children. The neighborhood is on a circle drive and many are out walking regularly and quite friendly. The house was well equipped with all we needed. It was small but with the open concept we never felt on top of each other. It is a short drive to LOTs of fun attractions like Tweetsie, Blue Ridge Parkway, and many others. As it states in the listing, I would be cautious to rent during winter months as getting there may be a challenge. Parking 2 cars is feasible, more than that could pose a challenge.

Great stay at the Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay and found the cabin to be very comfortable and had everything we needed. I will say that we found the bed to be firmer than we prefer but that was a minor issue. The cabin was very clean, check in was seamless and the setting is tranquil. It’s a short drive into Blowing Rock and Boone. We would definitely stay there again.
