**PLEASE NOTE*** This is a multi-level house with two staircases as well as several stairs along the 70 ft boardwalk that leads the house. Accessibility may be difficult for those who have mobility issues or trouble climbing stairs.
Additionally, this property is located along a gravel road on a hill, in an area where snow is not uncommon in the winter. Four wheel drive is strongly recommended during the winter when roads may be difficult. Refunds will not be issued for typical weather.

House Rules:
No smoking indoors (smoking allowed outside only, with proper disposal)

No drugs

No unauthorized gatherings or parties

No excess trash — all trash must be placed in the appropriate bins

Violation of these rules will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee.

Pet-Friendly Property:

Up to 2 pets allowed per stay

Pets must be kept off furniture and crated if left alone inside the home

A one-time, non-refundable $100 pet fee is required and charged at the time of booking. Guests must disclose and include all pets in the reservation to ensure proper processing of the fee.

Additional mess or damage may result in extra charges

Failure to disclose any pets will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee.

Early Check-in & Late Check-out:
We do our best to accommodate early arrivals or late departures depending on availability.

When available, we offer early check-in and late check-out for $25 per hour, up to the cost of one night's stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and thought the house was clean, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. The setting is very peaceful, the beds were comfortable and the everything was just as described. It's not too far from Blowing Rock and Boone, and Nathan always responded to any questions in a timely manor, and was an excellent host.

Beautiful home!!! Great location!! We had a fantastic time in the area. The house is even more impressive in person. We were in constant contact with the host, they were very attentive. We are thinking of coming back during Christmas and we will definitely try to stay here again!!

What a great property! Directions were on point. We booked for a girls" trip for four of us and we each had our separate spaces to decompress and be in the moment of this lovely place. Each bedroom was an en-suite, had separate WFH areas if needed also. Very clean and beds were so comfy ! Decor was beautiful. Easy drives to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Communication with the host was great. Looking to book again here !

We had a great stay! The place had plenty of room and was very clean. Would definitely recommend to others. You have a beautiful house. It was so quiet and the beds were super comfy. My husband wanted to know what kind of mattresses you use.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay over Labor Day weekend. The location and setting of the house is absolutely perfect.,,close enough to amenities, and Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk, yet away from the chaos. The house is very airy feeling with all the light coming in the windows, and views are beautiful. It feels like a tree house…every level has a deck and there’s a comfy little screened porch on the bottom level. Our dogs loved the location and walking the gravel roads exploring…and the house had plenty of space and areas to set up crates where the dogs still have a nice view while you’re gone, lol. Really spacious house, feels bigger than the square ft that it is. House bathrooms were well stocked if you didn’t want to lug your own toiletries, which is nice, and the kitchen was very efficient to cook. The beds for comfy and the rooms are very spacious with nice bathrooms. The upstairs has an office with a view and is also perfect for a yoga session as it has essential oils and a diffuser as well as a yoga block and some light weights. Really cool house…Nathan was responsive and very accommodating to all of our questions and needs. We’d definitely stay again, highly recommend!

Like staying in a treehouse with all the comforts of home. Modern home with trees all around the large lot. Easy communication and no problems at all with check in and check out. The inside had everything needed for a perfect stay. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of toiletries , soap and towels. Will definitely stay again!

When we found this home, we saw the chance to take a place that had been loved by one family for many years and thoughtfully update it into a comfortable, welcoming getaway for other families and friends to enjoy for years to come.

The neighborhood strikes the perfect balance—it feels remote and peaceful, giving you that true mountain escape, but you’re still just about 10 minutes from the nearest grocery store or local restaurant. We love the quiet, the starry nights, and especially the wildlife—deer, birds, and even the occasional black bear. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down and feel connected to nature, without feeling completely cut off from convenience.
