Beautiful house and property. It was truly an excellent place to spend a rainy weekend retreat with friends, we could still enjoy being outside on the porch and had ample space to spread outside inside for shared meals and chats. Would definitely stay again.

This home was an easy and beautiful place to gather for our family reunion. The large and well equipped kitchen, spacious dining and living rooms, and charming, comfortable bedrooms allowed for relaxing times together. We enjoyed easy access to the Appalachian Trail, many local nature walks, and visits to the Blue Ridge Summit library and historic Ft Ritchie. A fascinating area and a wonderful getaway. We hope to return!

The house was perfect for my friends and I for our yearly golf trip centrally located in the gettysburg area. A welcome note with a number to contact with any questions, which she responded quickly. The house was clean, there was a grill and fire pit with plenty of wood. My thanks to the host for a wonderful stay.

This house was beautiful and Marianne was a great host! She was very responsive to questions and understanding about our requests. The house was well stocked with linens and bathroom items, and the welcome note was very sweet. We came for a wedding and this was a great spot to host a bunch of people.

Very nice home, was perfect for the family to gather near the wedding at Ft. Ritchie. Only suggestion would be some large stepping stones so ladies in heels didn't have to step in grass...just a suggestion. Wonderful experience!Thank you

This is a beautiful home on a fantastic piece of land in rural northern Maryland. I highly recommend any group to stay here as a great mountain getaway.

This is our absolute favorite place that we ever stay. Charming, clean, well stocked, spacious, relaxing. Marianne is quick to return any inquiries we have. We will stay nowhere else when we make trips to Gettysburg.

This charming house was exactly as expected from the description on Vrbo. Check-in was smooth checkout was smooth. We had some groceries delivered that showed up early and Marianne the host was kind enough to come by and put all the groceries in the fridge For us. When we arrive, there was a nice note from her as well with her cell phone number in case we needed anything. We were traveling on motorcycles for Gettysburg bike week. The driveway was perfect for parking. Overall, I could not have been happier with the Rental.

Rented this home as we were attending a wedding. We had two single men in one room, two single women and another room and three couples in the other rooms. It was really convenient to Gettysburg. A few grocery stores 10 to 15 minutes away. Beautiful area. The home had beautiful hardwood floors and wood work throughout. The best thing was the host. Answered any questions promptly and was able to reach them every time we contacted them. Very nice and customer service oriented.

Absolute Lovely!

This was a wonderful place to stay! The outside was a bit deceiving (except the porch). The inside was exceptional! We will be hoping to stay here again for sure!!!

This is the place you want!

This property is not only spacious, accommodating, historic and beautiful, the owner is first-rate. I’ve rented this gone three times, and each time Marianne is responsive and kind.
