Enjoy In Town Convenience, 10 Minute Walk From Lincoln Square

Hi C.B.! Yes! We are super close to the battlefield and a pleasant walk to Lincoln Square in the borough of Gettysburg. However, we are on a main street, so the front bedroom is a bit noisy at times, although we do have a TV, clock radio and a box fan in that room to help with white noise, as well as earplugs in the closet in the downstairs hallway. Interestingly, we're directly on Lincoln Hwy, the first cross country road in America that goes from Broadway in NYC to San Francisco! Although it's a tiny, two lane road in front of our house, it is part of Route 30 and a main thoroughfare, so some may be more sensitive than others. The other two bedrooms, in the middle and back of the house are quieter, although we still do have the box fans and radios in those rooms in case people would like to use them. I hope you still enjoyed your stay and if you have any suggestions on how we can improve the property, please let me know. No luck on moving the road or the house as of yet! :) Take care, c. Cindy Fox
