The house is perfect for hosting large groups, and the battlefield is only steps out the back door. Our host went above and beyond to help us when a broken air conditioner at my house (100 degree heat wave, no less), meant I needed to move my family reunion dinner to the VRBO. The large kitchen and two living areas handled the crowd, and many happy memories were made. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Gettysburg - about 2 miles west of the center square of town.

This is the most immaculate place I have ever stayed. Its location right next to the battle field and accessibility to downtown is amazing. We had a lovely family reunion, and will definitely come back again. There’s an endless amount of restaurants nearby. Make sure to check out La Bella Italia if you love Italian food. There are plenty of options for DoorDash or Uber eats if you feel like staying in one night at this amazing home. the kitchen is amazing, and there are plenty of fresh fruit and vegetable stands locally to feel your culinary ambitions. The back porch is a great place to hang out with the family. It rained a few days while we were here, but this awesome house will allow the fun and memories to keep rolling. Definitely a six out of five star experience.

Lovely, spacious home in a quiet setting. The backyard looks out onto a former golf course, at the edge of a battlefield. The home was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. We did not cook during our stay but it would be fun to cook in the large, well-appointed kitchen. The location was perfect for exploring the historic Gettysburg area. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to return to this beautiful home in the future.

You won't find a better place to stay in Gettysburg, PA.The property is stunningly beautiful, inside and out. The interior, and the grounds, are meticulously cared for and spotlessly clean. It offers a spacious, open floor plan with a large kitchen, living room, dining room, and bedroom areas. It's situated on ground that was actually fought over during the Battle of Gettysburg and lies within a mere mile and a half of the historic, and vibrant, town square where many restaurants, shops, and pubs are located. A portion of the Gettysburg National Military Park borders the property and the neighborhood is very quiet and well spread out along the lightly used 25 m.p.h. Country Club Lane. There are just too many wonderful things about this charming place to describe, but at the top of list are the large open lawn, dotted with shade trees, and the covered patio areas where you can just sit outside and enjoy the stunning views and relaxing quiet of the place. Look at the photos of this property online, and believe me when I tell you that as great as the photos look, they simply don't do justice to what this marvelous place actually is. The owners, Michelle & Bob, were OUTSTANDING hosts who maintained a line of communication via phone and text, when necessary, and never once intruded upon our privacy. For a stellar lodging option in Gettysburg, PA, you won't find a finer place than this.

This sprawling home was clean and well appointed. It is located in a beautiful, quiet area. We traveled with another couple and everyone was more than pleased.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals, the kitchen table provides a lovely view. We also enjoyed the patios, screened in porch and fire pit immensely. The home is set up perfectly for traveling with friends and family. The Master bedroom and bath are a luxury suite on their own, the other 2 bedrooms and bath can be closed off from the rest of the home for privacy.I have rarely been happier with a rental. The location is perfect for visiting Gettysburg and the surrounding historic areas. Literally minutes from everything.The hosts could not have been kinder or more responsive and helpful.
