Welcome to Point Of View! Enjoy BIG VIEWS from high atop Appalachian Ski Mountain, just minutes from all the amenities the High Country has to offer including shopping and dining in downtown Blowing Rock and Boone! Completely remodeled and updated, this 5BR/5.5BA furnished mountain home is sure to impress. The main level boasts a Great Room with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings with exposed log beams, a stone fireplace, and a wall of windows to enjoy the views. Adjoining the Great Room is a high-end kitchen complete with stainless appliances, granite countertops, and a large bar. The dining room is surrounded by walls of windows to allow for maximum view enjoyment while dining. An expansive open back deck spans the back of the home and provides tons of space to relax and take in the amazing views. The Master Suite is conveniently located on the main level, while the upper level features two bedrooms, an updated full bath, and a reading nook/loft. The lower level has a second Master Suite, a fifth bedroom, a family room with a stone fireplace, and two additional bathrooms. Walk-out to the lower deck from the family room, and enjoy a covered deck for all-weather enjoyment complete with a firepit and big views! During the months of November through April, a four-wheel-drive vehicle is needed.

Our family has been here 3 times. I thought they might want to try a different place next year but they want to return. Ideally located between Boone and Blowing Rock there are so many things to do . The local restaurants are great. Tweetsie Railroad has something for all ages . The views are better than described.

Our family makes a trip to the High Country every MLK Weekend. This was our third consecutive stay at this property. It is perfect for our needs…clean, spacious, and well appointed. Lauren is very responsive and accommodating.

How do I describe a slice of heaven on Earth. The photos show exactly what you are going to find when you rent “Point of View”. Everything was supplied by a thoughtful host. The experience for our family was excellent. The adults (85-42) had a warm family friendly place to visit and the kids (15 to 8) loved their area downstairs. Our 2nd stay here for a girl's (age 50s & 60s) weekend. House is spacious with plenty of seating, beds and bathrooms for our group! And very clean!Kitchen and bathrooms are well-appointed with plenty of supplies including extra towels. Beds are very comfortable.Views off the deck are stunning. Sunrises spark awe! House is close to towns of Blowing Rock and Boone, hiking trails and Blue Ridge Parkway. Neighborhood is great for walks as well - though some steep hills! We look forward to returning!

This place was amazing! Wonderful rustic feel while still having all the amenities you want in a rental. As the description says, the view is what makes this place so special!

Family vacation
Everything went well with check in. House was very clean and also in a very nice neighborhood. Really enjoyed our visit. Will definitely stay again. Beautiful view and really nice on the inside.

Great girls weekend
Fabulous house. Great location beautiful view. We are already planning a return visit with our families. Highly recommend this house.

Great location. Very beautiful scenery from all floors. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen utensils. Nice decking. Convenient location to Boone and Blowing Rock.

Property was as listed-clean,beautiful views and spacious.Great location on App Ski Mtn with easy access to Blowing Rock,Boone and the surrounding towns.Would definitely rent on future vacations for the above listed reasons
