Beautiful well kept home. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking for a crowd! Gorgeous views at sunrise and sunset and just minutes away from downtown Boone. The Fulghums communicated during our stay to ensure all was well. Highly recommend staying at the Red Moose Inn!

The Red Moose Inn was perfect for our big group! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking necessities (pots, pans, utensils). The house was really clean and in a quiet neighborhood - we saw deer every day! The hosts were easy to get in touch with and very responsive. We would love to stay here again!

We try to keep the kitchen well stocked for guests cooking needs. Our house is located in an ideal area. It is so much fun to see the different animals and birds in this area.

The property was in a wonderful location and very beautiful. The hosts were extremely helpful and nice throughout the whole process. The home was extremely clean, well kept, and full of everything you need. Would highly recommend for family trips to the area!

Awesome, spacious, nicely decorated and cozy home

We've enjoyed our stay and couldn't think of a better place for our winter getaway! Great view of the mountains, well equipped kitchen, close to ski resorts and other attractions.

We enjoyed our second visit and will return. So accommodating in everything and beautiful Mountain View’s and close to all shopping/functions related to Boone NC and Appalachian University.

Memorable family vacation

The Red Moose Inn is even more impressive and comfortable than what is promised in the video. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and the exquisite attention to every detail. It's location between Downtown Boone and Blowing Rock is ideal - perched atop an exclusive mountain community.

Excellent Experience

Our stay was absolutely terrific, and the owners made us feel right at home. The attention to detail, including the charming Christmas decor, was truly impressive and immediately caught our attention. We’ll definitely come back another time!

Fall Graduation

My daughter graduated in December, and we wantwd a place for our entire family to stay. We also needed easy access and a first floor suite for my in-laws. This place was perfect!

Fabulous house!!

This house is out of this world! It was so clean, the view is to die for and the owners are so easy to work with. We will be coming back soon and absolutely loved the house.

Feels like home!

This was our 3rd stay at the Red Moose Inn. We love the house - clean, beautifully decorated, supplied with everything we could need. The views are gorgeous! Plenty of room for 5 women and so comfortable! The owners are warm, welcoming and helpful. I can't say enough good about our stay.

Slice of Heaven!

We have visited Blowing Rock twice a year for the last twenty years. This is my favorite place that we have stayed. The view is incredible. The house is true luxury, well appointed and immaculate. The hosts are so gracious. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy your vacation.

Beautiful Home With Gorgeous Mountain Views

This house was a dream!. Gorgeous mountain views from almost every room!For such a large house, we found it to be very cozy and comfortable. Great location, as midway between Boone and Blowing Rock.The owners were available to answer any questions and made great suggestions for restaurants. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent Vacation Home

Owners are extremely nice and the home speaks for itself. It is absolutely beautiful inside and out. It has spectacular views and relaxing in the hot tub was amazing! The house is decorated beautifully and it has every modern convenience you could ask for to make your stay as comfortable as possible! This is my family’s favorite vacation home in the mountains. This was our second stay here and I am sure there will be more in the future.

Fabulous!

We had a fabulous weekend at the Red Moose Inn. It was close to the slopes at Sugar Mountain and we were able to enjoy great restaurants and shopping in both Boone and Blowing Rock. The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. We hope to be back for another visit to enjoy the summer scenery!

What First Class looks like!

We have loved our second stay at The Red Moose Inn! Beautiful setting, beautiful home and wonderful owners. The home is super clean and well organized and has a mountain resort feel to it. Ed and Jan are great to work with and just a phone call away. This home has been our best owner rental experience ever.

Weekend in the High Country

Centrally located between Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk, this home has all the finest amenities and space for a great vacation. Each bedroom is a suite and enjoys privacy with access to an amazing den area with tongue-and-grove hardwood and a stacked stone fireplace. This is one of the finer homes in the mountains. We highly recommend.

WONDERFUL MOUNTAIN GETAWAY CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!

This home was everything we expected and more. We came to visit our son at Appalachian State for the weekend and could not have been more pleased with our accommodations. Beautiful mountain views, gorgeous home, and room enough for the kids to come and stay with us for the night. Game room garage was a wonderful bonus. Our hosts were so helplful with suggestions for restaurants, shopping ect. I even forgot my favorite pillow and they arranged to have it returned to me. Could not ask for a better place to stay !

Super clean, awesome view

We stayed at the Red Moose Inn over Labor Day weekend 2016. It was the perfect set-up for our 2 families. The home was way more than we expected.....the place was immaculate, the kitchen well stocked with anything that might be needed to prepare a meal, the furniture very comfortable and the view was amazing. It is also in a great location, very conveniently located to Appalachian State, restaurants, shopping and area tourist attractions. I have already recommended the home to my family, and am pleased to give a glowing review. Jan and Edwin were very attentive and a pleasure to work with. I hope we get the opportunity to return!

Excellent property

The house was immaculately clean and everything was exactly as advertised. Communication with the owners was easy. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds and other furniture were very comfortable. The quiet, gated neighborhood was easy to access and just a few minutes outside of Boone. Watch out for deer on the roads, though! The owner mailed us a key and we mailed it back after our stay. That was simple enough, but a little nonstandard based on our experience at other properties. Also, the owner required that we purchase insurance through VRBO and also send them a $300 damage deposit check (refundable) after booking. I've never had to do either of those at other properties, but there were definitely a TON of breakable items in the house. I wouldn't recommend if you have young children. For our group of four adults, this was an excellent property. We would definitely stay there again.
