Deer View Lodge offers your family every creature comfort and amazing spaces both to gather and enjoy quiet time or one on one conversation. This much-loved family lodge welcomes guests with three levels for enhanced privacy, three covered decks for communing with nature and relishing our cool mountain climate, six televisions with Spectrum streaming TV, a game room with air hockey & shuffleboard, a computer, high-speed Internet, WiFi, and a six-person hot tub!

Private spaces include two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, one family suite with a queen bedroom, and a kids' bedroom across the hall, plus four and a half baths (more detail below)!

The huge light-filled great room is the perfect gathering space for family and friends, featuring multiple seating areas, wood floors, soaring ceilings, a 25 Foot, stone woodburning fireplace, a 50' flat-screen HDTV, plus VCR, DVD, and theater surround sound, plus a powder room!

The spacious kitchen and dining room offer another stone fireplace (this one with gas logs for convenience) and seating for 16 (8 at the dining table, 4 at the bar, and 4 at the breakfast table). The recently remodeled, fully equipped kitchen is a chef's delight--completely supplied with everything you need for a simple meal or grand holiday feast.

The main floor master suite has a king-sized bed and a large full bathroom. Upstairs, the family suite has two rooms, one with a queen-sized bed and full bath, and a second bedroom with 2 twins plus a youth bed (toys included!) Also on this level is a small office with a desktop computer and high-speed Internet access, plus a printer (adults only please)! The lower level has a large king suite with a sitting room and smart TV, and bath, plus another bedroom with a queen bed and adjoining hall bath. Between the bedrooms, a large game room has air hockey, shuffleboard, darts, bar sink/small fridge plus a gas heater to warm things up! The utility room with a full-sized washer and dryer is also located on this level.

Both the main level and lower level have multiple access points to the three wonderful covered decks running the length of the house. On the lower level, step out and enjoy the six-person hot tub, swing, and additional seating overlooking the forested setting. The main level has both a covered front porch and back porch as well as an open deck off the great room. Enjoy covered dining outdoors and preparing your meal on the top-notch stainless propane grill (two tanks of propane provided). Take your pick of rocking chairs, swing, dining table or chairs and, if need be, turn on the outdoor propane heater.

AND, Deer View Lodge is very pet friendly with steps on the lower level to access a good-sized dog run. Only minutes from either Blowing Rock or Boone, the setting is private yet within a friendly mountain subdivision. Access is paved up until the last half mile of a very gentle gravel road, and four-wheel drive is necessary for winter weather access.
