Fantastic Family Getaway

This home was perfect for our family vacation. There is plenty of sleeping space. Home was immaculate! It is in a perfect location and 1/2 hour drive from popular attractions.

Lovely getaway home

Overall a wonderful experience. Convenient to all we wanted to do. Great fireplace. Clean and open concept living. Drawback of no dressers for clothes and a very noisy heating system. But overall a great place.

Amazing time

My family and I had the best time in New Hampshire. The best part was this beautiful home we stayed at. Everything from the style of the home, to all the amenities that was on the house for us to use, to the AMAZING VIEWS of the White Mountains. My family and I did not want to leave. It was so peaceful and relaxing. My kids loved the rooms and how at home the house felt. We will be returning in our near future….

Awesome unit! Open and cozy

Great property! We had an epic mishap, and didn’t realize we had the following weekend booked. The management company did an amazing job to accommodate us 50 minutes prior to arrival! They found us this great unit. Ty!

We booked this with another couple and upon arrival we were able to check in no problem with the instructions. However, when we got in to the property we found none of the house was cleaned. There was bacon on the deck, dog hair on everything (I understand it was pet friendly) the rugs, furniture, beds, the “clean” linens as well as human hair on the pillows. The bathroom floor was filthy. When I called the number to talk about this we were assured someone would come and clean. We went to dinner and someone came in to clean while we were gone. When we returned they had clearly vacuumed and the linens were changed. The bacon remained, the floors were not washed etc. I expressed my displeasure again as the house was not cleaned (to any of our standards) and felt that we should not have been charged a cleaning fee and I was told I would get a call from a manager, which never happened. The bed mattresses were very poor quality.The hot tub is under the deck so not the best space but we did enjoy it and it was the only reason we picked this property. The kitchen had decent items for cooking and the fridge was full sized. There is no AC but we knew about that before arriving. We were able to cool the house with the windows open. Over all I would not rent here again due to the issues and how they were dealt with.

We’re sorry the home’s cleanliness fell short and that the return cleaning did not fully resolve your concerns. A pet-friendly property should still be thoroughly cleaned, including the floors, furniture, and linens. We also apologize that you did not receive the promised manager follow-up. You deserved a timely response to your concerns and your request regarding the cleaning fee. While we’re glad you enjoyed the hot tub, we understand that the cleaning issues and how they were handled overshadowed your stay. Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Quiet Retreat

The reason for the 4 stars is because there isn't enough seating for 8 people. It sleeps 8 people just fine but there is only 1 couch that fits 3 or 4 people. No chairs in the bedrooms and no chairs to relax and read. No dressers in the bedrooms...everything was on the floor. The kitchen was nicely appointed with new appliances and newer cookware. I appreciated that very much. The dining table seats 8. We did enjoy our stay.

Nice place not close enough to walk to lifts

This house is nice, it was clean, and was for the most part as described. A few complaints that aren't deal breakers but would have been nice to know or we should have asked before booking. The hot tub is not big and can only fit 2 grown adults comfortably. They show that there is a shuttle for the ski resort area but there is not. The worst part about the house is the heat, very very noisy in all bedrooms when running . Overall it is a good location and nice rental house, Communication was very quick and easy.

Nice quiet location

The property was a nice location on Bretton Woods ski resort however it’s important to know that nearby dining locations are quite limited. Also, we stayed for two separate week plus periods and would not recommend for these types of longer stays due to consistent poor quality internet connection and the stuffiness when it’s warm due to no AC. We were working remote for half the period and we were challenged at numerous times accessing internet and accessing conference calls. Our main goal was hiking and we found many nearby trailheads with varying levels of difficulty. We also played golf at Bretton Woods and Maple Wood in nearby Bethlehem. We preferred Maple Wood for the course and the green fees were much lower. If you like craft beer, we recommend Rek Lis brewery and restaurant, in Bethlehem. Good food and service. Also recommend watching the sunset from the cog railway, it doesn’t disappoint!

I'm sorry for your issue with the internet - that is a bit unusual, since the internet is "gigaspeed" high speed fiber optic and we rely on it for all we do, and it's very rare that we have issues. Of course, issues do happen and if we are notified of it, we would do anything in our power to rectify. We really appreciate your suggestions for things to do!

Beautiful location

While the location of the house is beautiful and the views are amazing, the house needs some attention. The house needs to be cleaned top to bottom inside and out. We did report a few cleaning issues upon arrival and they promptly came to address those issues. While we know we rented a pet friendly home, we are not pet owners and do not expect to be able to sweep up pet hair off the floor, which was the case. Also, the pictures of the deck need to be updated. The furniture on the deck hasn't looked like that in years. The red cushions on the deck furniture were worn, faded, dirty and torn. We tried flipping them over, but the underside was covered in pet hair. We would have enjoyed the deck had there been nice furniture to sit on. The floors need a good scrubbing as they are sticky. You definitely did not want to walk in bare feet. The house is located on a very quiet cove. The other houses in the cove are very upscale. With some attention inside and out, this home could be a five star for sure.

Great honeymoon

We just stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't be happier! Beautiful view of mount Washington and surrounding mountains. Would highly recommend it!

Great stay in the White Mountains!

This was a very nice location to do anything related to a summer get away, leaf peeping, to winter sports. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. No need to bring charcoal because the charcoal grill listed is actually gas. But they did have full gas containers so it wasn't a big issue. Enjoy the mountains, stay for the hot tub!

Great spot!

House was beautiful and very clean. We had a great time with a short drive to many hiking locations and a nice place to relax between hikes. Everything was as advertised.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a great time! So peaceful being in Bretton Woods off season. Loved that we were able to travel with our golden. Defiantly hope to return soon. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to prep an Easter meal. My only suggestion would be to replace the larger “no stick” fry pans. They have seen better days and are no longer no stick.
