Welcome to Nature House, nestled in the picturesque community of Issaquah 17 miles east of Seattle, WA. Here, you'll find an enchanting oasis that stays evergreen all year round.
You are truly special to us, and we've prepared an exquisite treat for your stay – a clean, environmentally friendly, and comfortable 3 BR/ 2 Bath suite, thoughtfully attached to our home. As you step inside thru your private entrance, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting Kitchen Dining area, the private ¾ bath, and the in-suite laundry. Upstairs are 3 large BR's, full bath, and TV/Living room (and the couch has a comfortable pull-out double bed!). Robust WiFi is another perk. The large spacious deck has a charming dining table and BBQ grill. This space is yours to indulge in.
Nature House is tucked away in a safe and serene neighborhood, set on a 3/4 acre greenbelt, where tall cedar and fir trees sway gently in the breeze. It's a tranquil haven, offering you the perfect blend of convenience and seclusion.
Conveniently close to the I-90 freeway, our abode is just a short 2-5 minute drive to several Tech companies and Costco Corp HQ. Nearby, you'll discover an array of delightful dining experiences, specialty bars, shopping centers, and well-stocked supermarkets like PCC, Fred Meyer, QFC, Safeway, Home Depot, Lowe's and Tesla super charging pile. For those seeking entertainment, movie theaters are just a stone's throw away.
Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted to know that we're only 1 mile away from the Burke Gilman hiking trail that meanders along the east side of Lake Sammamish. This is a very quiet property with plenty of amenities. The owner has definitely given thought as to what you might need during your stay. (Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo/conditioners, coffee, creamers and many utensils and cookware.) Everything was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again. Michael D.

Very clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds and nice shower/bathroom, good air conditioning on a hot day. Good location. Host was helpful, esp. when we parked in the wrong spot.Parking is tight so be sure to follow those directions carefully. Also, kitchen has the basics covered, and it is nice to bbq on the big deck.

Excellent stay!

This is a wonderful home, with a peaceful yard/deck, and is a very convenient location in Issaquah. Quick access to I-5 and not too far to downtown. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent hosts.

Delightful ADU with everything you need for a group! We appreciated the little touches like labels for light switches and kid friendly items. It was great to have some private deck space too!

As the wife of the renter for the weekend, there was no description of the driveway and how it is really steep and small car friendly only, ( we drive a ram power wagon) it did not state it is a shared property with the owners residence connected, nor did it state 4/20 friendly with weed vap smoking on the patio. Outdoor furniture needs replaced as well. The actual house part was great and clean inside but we will not stay again.

Hi Fernando. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. In our “About This Property” section, we clearly mention that the guest suite is “thoughtfully attached to our home,” indicating that the property is connected to the owner’s residence. Regarding parking, in addition to the driveway, we also provide free street parking, which can better accommodate larger vehicles such as trucks. We also want to respectfully clarify that we are a non-smoking property. There are clearly posted “No Smoking” signs on the deck area, and neither we nor our guests are permitted to smoke or use marijuana on the property. We appreciate your comments regarding the outdoor furniture and will take them into consideration as we continue improving the guest experience. 80th Birthday Family Reunion

Overall, property met our needs. Is part of larger residence, but separate and private. Bedrooms, baths and kitchen. Lacked a common area(living room), but since we were out most of the time, we congregated in the kitchen. Nice location, near shopping and services.

Enjoyed our stay

We flew in from Alaska for our sons wedding arriving quite late. Communication with the host was excellent, the beds were very comfortable and all of the essentials were present with the exception of an ironing board which we needed for our wedding clothing. Everything else was excellent, the property is lovely and very quiet. We enjoyed seeing deer roam the woods directly behind the house while we were drinking our coffee one morning! Would recommend this listing.

The perfect stay

Our family came into town for our daughter’s wedding. Bill was extremely personable and attentive, even when my mother got locked out of their bedroom. A little “hiccup”’but I was able to contact bill immediately on the phone and get directions on how to unlock the door. The space was perfect for our family stay and right down the street from where my daughter and son in law live. The property was clean and beautiful. I highly recommend and would sty again.

Great place while house getting remodeled!

My family (myself, my husband and our 3 boys) stayed at Bill’s place for just over 2 months while our house was being remodeled. Bill was always super responsive whenever we had a question. It’s a quiet neighborhood and the unit looks out over a beautiful backyard. Close to everything in Issaquah and easy access to I-90. Thanks Bill for helping make our remodel just a bit easier!

Do not book with this host or VRBO!!!We booked - and paid - for a wedding 6 months in advance. Host communicated pleasantly up until 2 days before - then cancelled without recourse!!!!This was 2 days before Work Cup Soccer Finals in Seattle which had double prices.Excuses were offered - but how can you believe anything from people who will not honer their contracts and still have your money!Other VRBO booking in the wedding party got dropped similarly (including the bride's) with different faltering excuses, same financial incentive.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and stress this situation caused, especially so close to such an important family event. However, we would like to clarify that the reservation was not canceled in order to rebook the property at a higher rate during the World Cup. An unexpected booking conflict occurred involving a previously closed listing, which resulted in overlapping reservations that we were unaware of until shortly before the scheduled stay. Both we and the other affected guest reported the issue to the booking platform. As soon as we realized that we were able to accommodate your stay after all, we contacted you again and offered to host you as originally planned. At that time, you informed us that you had already secured other accommodations. The property ultimately remained vacant during those dates, so there was no financial incentive behind the cancellation. We fully understand how frustrating and disruptive this situation was, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience it caused you and your family. While the circumstances were the result of an unexpected booking conflict rather than an attempt to profit from increased demand, we take responsibility for the disruption and are truly sorry for the experience.

Great home away from home while rennovating

We live in Issaquah and needed a place to stay while having our floors refinished. It was conveniently located, had plenty of space for two adults and two kids, and was much, much nicer than staying in a hotel for two weeks. Thank you to Bill and Bo!

Great stay in convenient location

Clean property in a quiet location but very easy to get around Issaquah and the surrounding area. Close to hiking, shops, etc. Property had good Wi-Fi.

Spacious hideaway

Very close to downtown Issaquah & I-90 but in quiet, nice neighborhood. Tranquil backyard with garden and protected by famous NW evergreen trees. 3 full sized bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and 2 showers provided much needed space and convenience for me & my two teenagers. Full kitchen was great to store our own food and use of the grill on the back deck was a hit. The office desk setup in the living/TV room was great for me to conduct zoom meetings and work when necessary. In unit laundry was really convenient too. Bill was a great host and made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing hosts

Our family of 4 adults spent 2 weeks over Christmas. There is off street parking for at least 1 car. There is a separate entrance for the apartment. The full kitchen and eating area are downstairs with the bedrooms upstairs. The master king bed was very comfortable. Central heat worked very well. Bill was an amazing host. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. The day after Christmas it snowed over 8 inches and we could not leave our place for 24 hours due to the unplowed roads. Since we were eating all our meals at our daughter's house we had no food. Bill offerred to drive his 4-wheel drive to the grocery store and then drove me to get food for us. He also shoveled his driveway and put down salt so we could get out the next day. He called multiple times during our stay to make sure all was well. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Quiet Mountain Retreat

This mountain get away boasts all of the amenities described. Very quiet location with outdoor deck to help you rewind from your day. We used this location as our home base for a local job our company had. Much more comfortable than a Hotel room and the owner was very accommodating. He made sure we were comfortable and even shared tomatoes from his garden. Would certainly stay again.

3/4 acre of scenic woods and wildlife, a peaceful oasis near the heart of Issaquah, the Evergreen is a dedicated suite, nicely furnished and private. Sharing the back deck, bbq, vino if so desired .... and the wildlife is almost daily... we love the community--and so will you

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Close to everything yet quiet, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, washer/dryer, great views, private entrance... the pictures barely do it justice... There has been some confusion regarding the Guest Cleaning Fee. To clarify: We expect the guest to treat the suite similar to their own home. But WE will wash the sheets, towels, clean the bathroom and kitchen, vacuum the carpet and mop the floors—that is normal cleaning. Even the occasional stain on the sheets—we will take care of. We do hope the guest will centralize empty containers and put them in the garbage cans, and the cans/ bottles in the recycling. Our guests have paid a cleaning fee—it is used properly... We want our guests to be happy—and if so—then to return at a future date or refer their friends...
