Newly Built 2 BR/2 BA Quaint cottage in Historic District Pinehurst

Camellia Cottage was designed to look like it had always been part of the estate; with architectural details that mirror it's mother property in accordance with the historical district's guidelines. Decorated in a midcentury French genre, the original art was collected during the owner's travels to complement an eclectic mix of vintage and modern furnishing. Step inside, however, and you experience the ambiance of contemporary features including a cathedral ceiling in the family room, built-in large screen TV and desk/bookshelf units in each bedroom. Every room offers a visual vista of mature foliage and gardens, unhampered by large paneled plantation shutters.
Step outside to enjoy a private veranda adjacent to stone patio equipped for grilling outdoors.
The master bedroom has a king bed and it's en suite bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and full bathroom with shower.
The open kitchen is well equipped with cookware, pottery, wine and cocktail glasses.
No pets allowed.

Adorable, great location

This adorable place is perfectly stocked with everything you need like ziplocks, napkins, soaps, shampoo, hand lotion, paper plates, travel cups and more. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed like cooking oil, pans, etc. There is a hairdryer with 1875 power and works great. Love the Smart TV, great free WiFi, kettle for our tea and plenty of blankets. There is even a flashlight so you can take the short walk to restaurants. It is super dark at night as it is a dark neighbourhood. Amazing for star gazing. The beds are really firm. At night when you’re sleeping the train comes through town and blows its horn at all different times at night. Sometimes at 1am, 4 or 3 am. It sounds like it’s right in the back yard. The owners do give you a 8 minute orientation when you arrive, this is not optional. We never heard from them or saw them unless we texted them with a question. They responded very quickly. They do live right next door.

A Lovely Cottage in Pinehurst Village

This home was perfect for our Thanksgiving getaway. The location could not have been any better - a short walk to town, Carolina Hotel and the Pinehurst golf clubhouse. The cottage was well appointed and beautifully decorated. The hosts communicated well in advance and checked in during our stay. Highly recommend!

Picture Perfect

Beautifully appointed with whimsical colors, eclectic and comfy furnishings, with every need anticipated. Quiet setting yet short walk to Villlage center full of quaint shops, world renowned golf courses and a variety of restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. A particular favorite was touring the newly opened World Golf Hall of Fame adjacent to the new USGA offices and research labs and Pinehurst No. 2 golf course. Our future Pinehurst visits will include staying at this property. It met all our expectations.

Wonderful place to stay for our vacation

We loved this small cottage. It was perfect for my wife and I. It was easy to get to and located in a quiet neighborhood. The owners/hosts/property manager were very friendly and accommodating. We absolutely want to return.

Wonderful!!

House was perfect! Very clean, well stocked and beautiful. I loved the patio and how quiet and secluded it was. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. Well be back again for sure!

Cozy Camillia Cottage

My husband, sister and I stayed at Camilla Cottage for 3 nights in July. What a great spot! Christine met us and gave us all the pertinent information and checked in via text during our stay. She is a great host! The cottage is lovely...cozy, very clean and is well supplied with everything you need to make your stay wonderful. The location is also very convenient--we loved walking to the village, the Brewery, the Arboretum. There is a cute back porch where, even amidst the summer heat, you can sit with the fan on, have coffee and listen to the birds! We loved our stay and have already booked again! Thank you Christine!

Cannot wait to return! Excellent Cottage!

Camilla Cottage is the home away from home! From the moment we arrived, Buck met us at the property and gave us an overview of everything we needed to know. My wife loved the well-stocked kitchen, and high end appliances. The bed was very comfortable. Christine and Buck thought of everything and so much more to make you want to stay forever, we’re looking forward to our next visit. The cottage exceeded all of our expectations. Great location and great for walking our little 4 legged family member.

Tranquil and Complete!

For a Mom and daughters annual respite from the rigors of life, this home provided the tranquil setting so needed. Have vacationed here for many years and feel we have found the oasis we needed. The home is beautiful, everything one would need is available, completely accessorized kitchen, baths, living space and the owners are amazing. Greeted upon arrival and given a tour of the home with all it's amenities. We will return without hestitation. This cottage is the BEST of the best.

March and April in Pinehurst

The cottage is wonderful. It is clean, lovely and well furnished. The kitchen has ample equipment of high quality. The bathrooms are modern and well stock with items that were useful. Both bedrooms have thoughtful conveniences, such as office equipment, dressing areas and well stocked bookshelves. The location is great. It is an easy walk to the Village and the surrounding area is quiet and is great for walking. We will return!

February in Pinehurst

My wife and I stayed at this lovely cottage just outside the center of Pinehurst Village. Easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the village. Very quite street and neighborhood, very enjoyable.

Could've Stayed Forever!

Immaculately clean, as cozy as could be, and perfectly located! Christine met us at the property at check in to give us a quick overview and even gave some wonderful dining suggestions. We couldn't have been more pleased with the rental. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely Cottage, Perfect Location!

This lovely, well-designed, well-appointed cottage is actually even nicer than it appears in the pictures and located in a beautiful neighborhood. It was reassuring to have the friendly hosts nearby, though everything was perfect, and all necessities were at hand. I highly recommend this place for anyone headed to the sandhills and hope to go back there in the not-too-distant future. A great find!

Fun cottage that felt like home

Don't hesitate- book this place!! Very well appointed cottage that had all the conveniences of home and then some! We loved the colors, high ceilings, lighting, built ins, and layout (which worked great for having private space on each side of the common area). Beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the festive seasonal decor. Fabulous outdoor space! Close to the golf course and towns. The owners were amazing and so helpful!

Wonderful Cottage!

This is a very well-thought-out property with multiple amenities. Besides being located near Pinehurst Village, the care and thought put into every aspect of the experience of the stay is just superb! I hope to stay here again in the near future.

Perfect Pinehurst Cottage

We so enjoyed our stay at this quaint Pinehurst cottage. It was the perfect size for 4 girlfriends to gather for the weekend. Plenty of room to gather, watch TV, do jigsaw puzzles, etc. The decor is colorful and eclectic. Christine and Buck were great hosts, being there to check us in and touched base periodically to see if we needed anything. Super close to Pinehurst Village and Resort. Only 10 minutes from Southern Pines.

You will love your nextdoor neighbors!

The cottage is delightful. We just spent four nights in comfort and ease. Every thing is new and well thought out. My son and our 17yr old grandson were on one side of the living area. My husband and I on the other. My son brought a blowup mattress for the teenager. He was content to sleep on the floor and slept like a log. We did use the washer and dryer a couple of times. They too are brand new. Detergent pods and dryer sheets were available. The same with dish detergent, some cleaning supplies and paper products. Much appreciated. I cooked bacon and eggs in the mornings. We grilled steaks one night. We were all good and tired in the evenings. The beds are very comfortable. And their location is ideal. Pinehurst Club house 10 minutes that way. Harris Teeter grocery 10 mins the other way. We’re there any cons? No! Not a single one. Grab this one. Stay as long as you possibly can. Make memories. You will be so glad you did. Susie
