Treat the whole family and friends to an unforgettable vacation getaway. This house features two private deck, boat hours with a diving board and waterslide. This house is a fully equipped kitchen, a formal dining area, and a game room complete with a pool table, and a foosball table! Large fire pit for perfect evening with friends and two level deck and covered screen porch. The lower level consists game room with beautiful flooring, wet bar and gas stone fireplace. along with 2 bedrooms and a full baths and a walk-out to you lower level patio and a large outdoor gas fire pit with plenty of seating and gorgious 250 feet of sandy shoreline with your own private beach, covered boat dock with lift. Excellent Getaway

Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood! The hosts were very responsive. Our large group had plenty of place to gather and get some quiet time. Kitchen was large and well stocked! The game room was great. We would definitely return.

Amazing location, lots of space and comfort!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Plenty of room for our group of 7. Huge kitchen with everything we needed. Lots of great outdoor space for hanging out, entertaining and relaxing. This place is GREAT!

Big spacious house with lots of amenities

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has lots of space to spread out and is fully stocked with everything you need. It is situated on a quiet cove that was great for swimming. We brought our boat and tied it up to the dock. Great hosts who were very helpful and quickly answered any questions we had.

Excellent Choice!

We had a wonderful week of celebrations at this beautiful home! The kitchen was very well stocked and very accommodating for our large family. This home was very clean and pristine! We would certainly recommend this home to any large family looking to enjoy each others company. We look forward to going back!

Wonderful

The place was clean and had nice extras like plenty of hand soap through out and toilet paper. There were plenty of trash bags and paper towels. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out. The 3 en suites were the best. Everyone enjoyed the diving board, slide and kayaks.

Nice home in a great location!

We had a fantastic week! The home is very spacious with a fully stocked kitchen and an abundant supply of towels. The dock is spacious and everyone used the kayaks and slide. The basement game room is great and the a/c worked really well. The house decking needs some attention and the porch and deck cushions should be replaced soon.

40th Birthday With The Family

OMG! My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The house was clean! Completely stocked with everything a family would need. There was plenty of room to stretch out and privacy for my group of 14. The kitchen is amazing the deck(s) the fire pits and the dock on the lake. The owners were great very quick to respond and very accommodating, they even left me a complementary bottle of wine for my birthday. We would definitely stay here again!

Lake Anna in July

Overall we had a great experience. Owner communication was superb and the listing is very accurate. It was what we expected and what we needed. Only issue was the lake temperature for our week in July. It was very warm in our cove. Nothing the owners can control. The slide, diving board, kayaks, etc were plenty of activities for the kids though.

Great house

One of the steel bunk bed in the bedroom in the basement level need to be replaced as it is shaky as it is not stable for adults . It would be great if this bedroom can be replaced as the same configuration as the other bedroom in the basement level that has bunk bed and a single bed that can accommodates sleep for 3

Great house, very warm lake water

House and host are great. Lots of appliances and cooking equipment for guests to use. The lake was warmer than we thought it would be. We knew the house was on the “warm” side of the lake, but didn’t appreciate how warm that meant. I gave the location 4 stars in the summer, but would have given it 5 stars in the winter as the warm water would have felt great. If you are thinking of renting a motor boat for the day during the heat of summer, it’s worth renting one on the cool side of the lake.

Amazing Week

We had an amazing week with our stay at The Waters! We had a big crew there and had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is the best stocked rental property kitchen you could ever find (not to mention the most beverage storage ever with the 2 wine fridges)! From the great bedrooms & bathrooms to the kitchen / living spaces and to the game room downstairs, this fit every need we had for all of us. The outside is just as wonderful, from the spacious decks to the fire pit area and on down to the beach, pavilion, & dock area. We relaxed all week on the dock chairs and loungers while the kids loved the diving board and slide! I can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed our stay! Thank you for an awesome week in your lovely home!

Relaxing vacation

This was our second time renting this house for our family vacation. Overall, the house is plenty large enough to accommodate all 16 of us. It is in a quiet private community very relaxing yet fun time the only downside to our vacationing in this home is the fact that us older folks have a hard time, making that trek up and down the steep hill from the house to the water we wish the climb wasn’t so steep in a little easier and less exerting to make. Not much you can do about that as the house sits higher up on the hill above the water. Just make sure you’re in shape if you plan to go up and down the hill more than once a day!

Home is beautiful needs TLC

Home is beautiful and great location. Home needs TLC inside and out. Home maintenance needs to be proactive rather than reactive. Owner responded to most issues but items could have been resolved prior to our arrival. I have never posted a review like this before (14 previous rentals) but I had some displeasure I wanted to express. Hopefully future renters will not experience same issues.

Quiet, comfortable and relaxing

Easy check in with code. House clean, well equipped for cooking. Several ovens , 2 wine coolers that helped with keeping refrigerator open for food. Beds were comfortable. Two living areas which is nice with large group. Enjoyed the large wood fire pit and a smaller one on the beach. The sandy beach was a hit with the smaller ones. They loved having some shallow water to jump off dock. The older ones enjoyed the slide and diving board. They spent the week catching minnows, blue gill, turtles and frogs. Caught a large bass from the dock. Very peaceful. Deer out front in the am.

Special Christmas

Thanks so much for a wonderful (but too short) Christmas vacation! 9 of us (5 adults, 4 children) had an incredible amount of room in an absolutely spotless home, with almost everything you could ask for in kitchen and home supplies (plentiful dishes, pots and pans, spices, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, soaps). My son and his family of 5 also joined us to open presents. The electric fireplaces were amazing, the couches of high quality and extremely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed watching movies and playing pool in the basement family room, as well listening to music on the living room TV. My 10-year old grandson even ran several times into the (cold) lake and my son took the boys out kayaking in deep December. The small Christmas tree in the living room also added to the Christmas cheer. Small suggestions: - right-hand windows in the living room and dining room were slightly open at the top (with effort, two of us were able to close the dining room window, but not the living room one); -no pot holders for oven dishes or as protection for the gorgeous dining room table (we used dish towels);- marble floors in the bathrooms were chilly, as was the lower level after the fireplace was turned off (no heat system);- directions for turning on the master bedroom fireplace would be helpful;- pillows were pretty flat, could use new ones, and dark brown sheets?;- perhaps a tablecloth for the round table and a new bunk bed set.Hope to come back in summer!

Family Summer Vacation

The property and lake amenities are amazing and greater than most on the lake. We spent many hours on the wonderful dock and in the warm waters of Lake Anna and days boating, tubing and zub boarding with the grandchildren. The only recommendation I have is to update the appliances and furniture. The furniture seems to be 20 years old and upholstery original which needs cleaned or updated. Some appliances should be updated: gas stove must be lit with a hand-held gas lighter and controls have no lines on them to designate off or on. Refrigerator freezer door came off in our hands upon arrival to the house when putting foods into the freezer. Gas grill needs TLC or replaced/updated. We put up with the inconveniences however to justify the rental and VRBO fees, I feel these items should be addressed. Regardless, our family had a wonderful summer vacation on Lake Anna.

Excellent for large groups.

We absolutely loved our stay at this house on Lake Anna. The house is well appointed and was very comfortable for our group of 11 adults and 5 kids. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked on plates/bowls/utensils with plenty of pots and pans. The 3 ovens is a big plus. We did a make your own pizza night and were able to cook all at once. The dock and beach area was a lot of fun for everyone and we spent most of our time here. The kids loved the slide and diving board while the adults hung out under the covered area during the day and around the fire on the beach in the evening. The sidewalk down to the dock is a little long and steep but we all agreed it was better than stairs. It allowed us to use a cart to bring our gear up and down. Plenty of parking space for us all, even with two vehicles towing trailers full of kayaks and bikes. A side note about Lake Anna and not any kind of reflection on the rental. The lake is separated in to a private side and a public side and they do not connect. This house is located on the private side and the boat we rented for 3 days was from a rental on the public side. Once we determined we would not be able to bring the boat back to the house the rental company was kind enough to refund some days to us. I don't know if there are boat rentals on the private side but be aware of the difference between the two. Other than that enjoy this amazing lake house!
