Host was very responsive to any issues we had. Great location, very nice house with large rooms and comfy beds. Fully stocked with everything you would need. Close to a grocery store for any other things needed.

Great stay. Perfect choice for us - 2 couples and a single. Sightseeing during the day and peaceful home to come back to in the evening.

A Quiet Retreat

Overall outstanding stay. Much better than a hotel somewhere and gave a quite retreat at the end of each day.

It was fine for the price. We had difficulty with checking in to our house as the house # wasn't on any paperwork or confirmation email. The kitchen floor wasn't very clean. I contacted the host and asked if we needed to bring coffee, she said yes. We bought coffee grounds and when we arrived what we needed was kuerig pods. Luckily they had some there for us. TV's were not user friendly and wifi spotty. I never got the TV in our bedroom to work. Location was good for the Bourbon trail!

Cute little lake place

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was well stocked and well decorated. Close to the lake and a nice lake view from the master. Would recommend

Clean, well stocked. Hot tub was awesome. Check in was very easy. Contact person was easy to get a hold of. Nice area that was close to food and grocery stores. Quiet and peaceful.

The house was just as advertised and so clean. Fantastic communication with owner. Lovely property and close enough to everything Louisville. I would highly recommend.

Simple and Relaxing

My wife and some friends were looking for a short stay not too far from home. The property was cozy and well kept, the hot tub was awesome, and we were fully stocked with restroom/kitchen supplies. Easy access and communication made our short getaway very relaxing! Highly recommend.

Bourbon Trail Getaway

We selected Taylorsville as a center location between multiple cities and distilleries. The gated community was lovely and the home had everything we could want . We enjoyed the entire VRBO experience. The home was warm and friendly , nice furnishings and was easy to find . Loved the hot tub and fireplace as we relaxed with our family . We highly recommend this place !

FAMILY GATHERING FOR FUNERAL

Enjoyed the closeness of the houses and ability to walk everywhere. House was great. Only complaint is the lack of any options on the TV.

Rest and Relaxation

Beautiful countryside, beautiful lake. The house has everything you need and more. About a 30-40 minute drive to Bardstown, Distilleries, Arboretum, My Ole Kentucky home all with beautiful scenery. Mexican restaurant by the house is good and the country mart served our needs just fine. I would recommend!

An overall nice time.

All was as expected, beds were more comfortable than most. The decks were nice for sipping coffee and bourbon, and the inside whirlpool tub was a d light. The outside hot tub didn't work for us, but we didn't need it to, so we didn't call for help with it either. We had no interaction with owner or manager.

Hello Annette, thank you for the Review. However in the check in information it says to alert us if anything needs attention during your stay. Often times people using the hot tub need to know a few things about it to use it properly. Communication is very important to us so we can help you with misunderstanding and technical issues.The hot tub was working and functioning fine. We check the hot tubs before guests come and if it was not working I would have been alerted and we would have fixed it right away. Thank you for coming I am glad you still had a good time.

Great stay, house was clean and was stocked with towels, linens and cooking supplies. Our only complaint was the outdoor areas, we would have loved to hang outside but everything was covered in bugs and spiderwebs. I know it’s in the mountains and by a lake but I was hoping to use all of the cute patios but couldn’t, well really didn’t want to.

We chose this place strictly for the use of swimming pool, new clean hot tub, and lake. We had our itinerary based on pool and hot tub. The pool was slime moss green and out of working order. WiFi did not work at all. They returned 100 cash and apologized, said we could leave and get a refund for nights not used. Where would we go ? Really, there was no place nearby with a pool and hot tub. However they said it had one been that way for a few days. Liars. That was definitely not the case. And if we were informed of the pool being out of commission, we would have definitely went someplace different. The hot tub was very dirty, filmy, and gross. They came and cleaned it Saturday evening. We did not use it, it was disgusting. This was supposed to be our relaxing sisters weekend of poolside, hot tub therapy. Extremely disappointing at the very least. We cleaned everything we used, we swept the floors, they were dirty as well. We would not recommend. Beware

There was dead bugs in the master bedroom bathroom floor. The toilet in the master bedroom is hard to flush. You have to push down very hard.

One of the best properties our family has stayed at.

We are new to VRBO. Spent many years staying at hotels. Our last hotel vacation was in Texas where we had an awful time at multiple locations. I am sure lack of staffing was a result of covid and because of that major hotel chains are no longer providing the same quality of service they use to. This stay in Kentucky was miles above the last place we stayed. We got the whole house to ourselves. No noisy neighbors, no cockroaches like in one of the Texas hotels, it was clean , safe and we got to bring our two dogs with us. Very happy we did this. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Perfect for our family

This cabin is very nice. Comfortable for a family of 6. Lots of room, great parent suite and even a hot tub. Unfortunately our trip wasn’t for pleasure but the ease of access and ability to relax was priceless. Very clean and well stocked.

Outstanding house and beautiful views!

The house was exactly as listed! Spacious with gorgeous views from the front porch. Hiking trails were easily accessible. The owners answered any emails with extremely quickly and brought a new propane tank for the grill when I mentioned it was empty! Definitely recommend!
