We loved the weeks we spent here. It was the perfect set-up for our family of 4 to slow down and enjoy Maui. Bright and airy, loved the lanai and sounds of the ocean, and Amy was always very quick to respond to any questions or concerns! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed watching the whales and turtles off the patio. Loved it, and would stay again!

The property is just as listed. We enjoyed the location and view of the ocean! The beds were comfortable and it was nice falling asleep to the sound of the waves.

Excellent stay!

We had an excellent stay here. We’ve stayed at Hono Kai before but this unit far exceeded our expectations. Clean, comfortable stay!

5 stars! Our stay was perfect. Amazing views, condo was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed. Can not beat watching the whales and sea turtles from the balcony.

Lovely getaway, try getting closer to the beach!

We loved our stay here. The property was on top of the beach as promised and it was gorgeous.

Lovely condo

This property is lovely, right on the beach. It would be nice if there was someplace to store surfboards/paddleboards on the property, but we locked ours on our car, so it worked.The outdoor grills were nice.

Fabulous view!

This fit our family of five perfectly with the 2 queen beds and futon! Amy was super helpful when my daughter accidentally locked the door for the extra bedroom. Overall super cute place and great location!

Great Condo!!!

This until was waaaaaaay better than expected. Super clean and spacious! Check-In/Check-Out, parking, everything was effortless/easy and we had the best stay! Unit is located on the 2nd floor with the best views!!! Having AC was great and unit had everything you could need (beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie board, etc...). Would def book this place again and recommend it!

Ma'alaea Waterfront

Nice situation 1 floor up from ground level and looks out to view of water and Kihei/Wailea coastline. Lots of light and ventilation, but protected from direct sun and wind. Lots of towels. Very clean. Not many restaurants or grocery stores nearby.

The Perfect Place To Stay!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. Everyone had their own space. The 2 bathrooms were key for my teens. The condo was so clean and bright. Our jaws all dropped when we first walked in and saw the view from the lanai! Every meal was spent on the lanai which was never too hot or windy- it was perfect. And every day was spent with my kids on the sweet little beach right in front of our lanai. We snorkeled and boogie-boarded for hours and hours. The location was so convenient to all of our excursions and it was such a pleasure to return back to this condo at the end of our long days. It was truly perfect, and made our vacation!

Amazing Views and Great Layout

Our family had an amazing stay here. From the moment we walked in, we were in awe of the view. Great views from every room/window. While the space isn't big, the layout was perfect for our family of 4, that included 2 teens. Ma'alaea is located pretty centrally which made it easy to take day trips from. The beach out front was never very crowded. We saw a turtle swimming out front several times. We enjoyed eating the majority of our meals out on the lanai. The air conditioning kept us all very comfortable. As big Dodger fans, we were thrilled to have Sports Net LA and enjoyed watching some of the games while enjoying the ocean view. We hope to make a return trip! Mahalo!

Great Views and Location

The condo was absolutely stunning with views that are breathtaking. Amy the property manager was so accommodating and quick to respond, really made our honeymoon great! The condo was well stocked and we loved being greeted by the Hawaiian music playing! The pictures of the listing showed a lot more of the “private beach” right out front of the condo, but it was all water and no room to sit there. Thankfully the condo is in a great location so a quick walk or drive to another beach was easy. The beach chairs, bogey board, and noodles made beach days the absolute best. This stay gave us a great Hawaii feel while still having the comfort of being home like a good bed, couch, air conditioning, tv, and a full kitchen. I would absolutely recommend a stay here!

We did have high tides and great surf this last week which has impacted all shores on the island. Sometimes, a high tide can take away from the beach out front but the majority of the time it is great and accessible - you can look at our drone footage on YouTube.

Property switch do to maintenance

The owner switched our location the day of the stay due to maintenance. The other location was a 4 th floor apartment with a broken elevator in an apartment that seemed like a retirement community. When we thought we were locked out of our room we couldn’t get in contact with the owner.

There was an unexpected leak that required us to turn off the water unexpectedly which we regret and has only happened once in the 15 years we have had this condo. Unfortunately available locations to move to were limited. I would be happy to offer a discount for a future stay to offset for the inconvenience.

Beautiful location!

Away from the more dense resort areas but close enough to access any key areas you want to visit on your trip. The space was extremly comfortable and view was stunning.

Great stay in Maalaea Bay

Wonderful and clean apartment right on the beach. Comfortable and equipped with everything you need!! Pretty close to all the attractions and other nice beaches. We really enjoyed our stay.
