The International Colony Club is a collection of uniquely "Hawaiian" cottages situated on meticulously landscaped grounds located right in the middle of the North Kaanapali Golf Course. Kaanapali beach, famous for incredible beauty and some of Maui's best snorkeling is only a few minute walk from the property. Beautiful gardens and 2 sparkling swimming pools are only steps away from the front door.

Our one-of-a-kind, completely remodeled cottage offers the most spectacular views on the entire property. Views of both Molokai and Lanai can be seen from this spacious, custom designed 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage. Vaulted ceilings, large modern kitchen, beautiful lanai with wrap around "hurricane" windows and open "great room" complete this treasure in paradise. State of the art sound system, TV and superior Wi-Fi coverage only add to the Aloha experience.

The entire premises has been meticulously remodeled including both bathrooms and bedrooms and appointed with custom island furniture and accessories throughout. Top of the line mattresses and bedding complete the perfect day. Although the cottage does not have air conditioning, the numerous ceiling fans and extensive windows create a pleasant "airy" feel in any weather condition.

The fabulous pool is only a few steps away, and the lush surrounding gardens and landscape truly deliver the ultimate Hawaiian experience. Come and enjoy our magical getaway on the island of Maui.

We had a great trip to Maui in the ocean view cottage. We enjoyed the peace and privacy of the property, the pool, and the view of the ocean. We could see whales swimming by from a distance. Terry was a great host and easily reachable when we needed it. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to friends & family.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. Super close to the Kahekili beach (5 min walk). The lanai is the perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach.

We had a great time! The house was in the perfect location. The beach was just a short walk away. We saw many whales, dolphins, and turtles while we were at the beach. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Terry addressed any issues we had promptly. The pool was also right next door which was very convenient.

Home was exactly as described. Perfect for family of 4, plenty of space. House got to be extremely hot though even with fans, had to buy more fans for each room. Home was in a good location from beaches, shops, locations.Washing machine broke first day and very poor communication about what would be next. Was not able to be repaired so had to wash several loads of laundry daily, that kind of put a damper on things, although it was not anyone’s fault that the machine was broke, but very poor communication about the situation. Having a working washer and dryer is an absolute must when we vacation. We pack Little so we can do laundry daily. Overall was a nice place and if they had more working fans or an air conditioner and a working washer and dryer it would’ve been honestly pretty perfect.

Mahalo for your review and for the kind comments about the cottage. I'm delighted to hear that you and your family had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the property overall. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the clothes dryer during your visit. As soon as the issue was reported, I immediately contacted my appliance repair technician. Unfortunately, after inspection, it was determined that the unit could not be repaired and required replacement. I purchased a new dryer right away and arranged for the earliest available delivery. Due to Maui's scheduling and delivery timelines, the installation was scheduled for the day after your departure despite every effort to have it completed sooner. Regarding cooling, the cottage is designed to take advantage of Maui's trade winds, and each room is equipped with ceiling fans and additional portable fans. While most guests find the home comfortable, I always appreciate feedback and continually look for ways to improve the guest experience. As a very hands-on owner, I take great pride in personally responding to guest needs and doing everything possible to address issues promptly. I am grateful that this commitment is reflected in the more than 500 five-star reviews the cottage has received over the years. Thank you again for staying with us. Wonderful stay

Our stay could not have been better - we loved to location close to one of the best beaches on Maui, the almost "private" pool, the clean and spacious rooms and the quiet and well-maintained property. It was perfect for our family of four and we had a wonderful time Terry was a great host and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this cottage.

It was everything we expected. The weather was amazing and no need for air conditioning. We enjoyed the pool and the water toys in the outside closet. The only negatives, but out of control of the owner, was the sound of the highway and the proximity of the parking lot. However, it did not affect our enjoyment of the cottage.

Amazing home away from home!

Our stay at this cottage was great! So nice to have our morning coffee with ocean views, and only a few steps to the pool in the hot afternoons. The beds were very comfortable. Perfect amount of space for our family of 4. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home away from home!

Very peaceful and beautiful! Great ocean views that were far enough away from the crowds, but could walk to. Beach gear was not complete, but we decided not to snorkel anyway. Overall very relaxing and a much needed vacation!

Home in paradise away from home

Beautiful, well equipped property! Clean, comfortable with everything we needed. Easy walk to the beach, close to town and a great pool steps from the home that felt like a private pool most of the time. Gorgeous views; would stay again!

Great location for snorkeling. Some fins and masks at the house. Pool on site close to house. Helpful to arrive during daylight as the walk from parking lot has dark spots.

Relaxing and beautiful!

Third time staying at the ICC. We love the location! Close to everything. The ocean view was fantastic. Had our morning coffee outside watching whales. Had evening beverages watching the sunset. Had everything we needed for our stay. Really spacious for the four of us. Thanks!

Sunny cottage

This was a very nice cottage. Very close walk to a beautiful beach w great snorkeling! Steps from the pool. It was a very nice stay for the value. Only drawback was traffic noise and no outdoor patio. Instead there was a beautiful sunroom. Very clean and bright.

Our family of 3 spent 8 nights at Terry’s place. It was truly a home away from home. The cottage was well appointed and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook- in whether it was an oven baked dish or kabobs on the bbq. The beds were super comfy with just the right amount of blankets. And by the way, don’t let the fact that the cottage has no AC deter you. I was a little skeptical when we booked but there are plenty of windows and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. As a few other reviews have mentioned, there was some highway noise but it pretty much stopped overnight. I am a light sleeper and didn’t feel that the noise ever interfered with my sleep. The location was exceptional for our needs,,,close proximity to all the great beaches and tourist spots but a secluded hideaway to escape to at the end of the day. We plan to return and will absolutely book here again if it’s available.

The International Colony Club is a unique, VERY Hawaiian accommodation option that offers a much more interesting and relaxing experience when compared to the typical hotel. We purchased this particular cottage due to its superior location within the property as well as its proximity to my favorite beach in Maui. The views are unequaled, the pool is convenient and the spacious distance between other cottages and meticulously kept gardens and grounds make this a particularly special cottage within the ICC property. The ultimate "Low-Density" property, which is very rare as compared to other options.

Having a nice "home" to come from the beach to that is quiet, spacious and a comfortable refuge from the busy Maui day really adds to the vacation experience. Preparing selected meals in a large, modern, and well appointed kitchen can take the bite out of needing to rely on restaurants/hotel food for every meal.

I have been involved in every step of this cottage's extensive remodeling, kitchen design, interior design and landscaping improvements. You will immediately see a true pride of ownership in the quality of finishes and attention to detail in every area, including the overall cleanliness of the cottage.
