Loren Arethas, Vicki Frahm-Ewald, and your third traveler, we are sad to hear once again that you were disappointed in your stay. It was clear to us from day two of your stay that this experience was simply not well suited for you. Your feedback is unlike any feedback we have received from any prior guests; other guests have virtually unanimously loved the unit, found it true to its photographs, and were elated with the accommodations. When your complaints reached every aspect of the stay conceivable -- including complaints right down to the contents of the silverware drawer -- it became clear it was less a matter of you actually being unhappy with the accommodations and more about you seeking a discounted vacation, on us, through exaggerated complaints. We are not the type of owners who respond to review blackmail. We did our level best to bend over backwards to address your complaints, including immediately delivering new towels, delivering a second wine stopper because you complained you did not like the one in the unit, we provided glass wine glasses because you did not like the festive ones provided (plastic, because we happily host many lovely families with young children), and our concierge service gave you her personal laptop and password to use since you did not bring one. Despite addressing every concern you raised, your party raised only more complaints every day. On top of trying to actually address your countless complaints by delivering alternative housewares and even a laptop to you in response to your countless complaints, we also offered you a 100% refund on day 3 if you wished to vacate the unit that day. You refused that offer and chose, instead, to stay in this unit you described as so undesirable. I know what you seek even now is for us to lessen the expense of your vacation and return some of your money to you so you will take down your review, but we just do not do that. We take a firm stance against it. We proudly rest on the remainder of the genuine, glowing reviews we have received.
